Kids Planet Chesterfield

My little girl has been to a nursery before this one and she absolutely hated going there. But since moving to this nursery she has been so excited to wake up in the morning to go here. She loves the nursery, the teachers and her friends. Its such a cozy and heart felt nursery. She is learning so much in pre school and it warm my heart knowing she is so happy and content here. She always looks forward to her breakfast and dinner time here and its such a mixed range of foods for children and gets to try lots of different types of food (which is great) I love that she is able to play in the outdoor garden and go on little play adventures with her friends. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS NURSERY!!!! Thank you all so much for everything you do for us. IF I COULD GIVE MORE THAN 5 STARS I WOULD!

My child has been here since September 2025 and he started of in the babies room now hes in the tots room. He has come on so much since starting. The staff are wonderful with him amd he loves it here. Hes growing in his own little character. Thank you all so much for everything you do. You are all wonderful and wouldn't change anything. The parent portal is brilliant too. The photos I get are adorable.

My son started at kids planet chesterfield in September 2025, he's loved it from day 1! Every week he comes home so excited and happy, some days we can't get him to leave! He recently missed a few weeks due to repeated sickness and he returned like he'd not missed a second even with having transitioned to a new room whilst away! He loves all the staff and I love hearing about his day and knowing that he's happy and safe. They always off alternative food when he doesn't like something, always give us real time updates in the app too! We love seeing his photos of his day too! He's thriving thanks to this wonderful team!

I always feel reassured and happy when leaving my girl as she has the best time!

We have had a wonderful experience with Kids Planet. The staff are amazing, supportive, and always so friendly. They have helped my son so much with his communication, improved his vocabulary, and really built his confidence and independence. My child is always eager to go into nursery and is genuinely very happy there, which gives me great peace of mind. I was initially worried about the distance from my house, but the incredible work they do and the clear improvement I've seen in my child make it completely worth it. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough.

We're big KP fans in this house! Staff are fab and we're really happy with our kids' progress. It definitely seems like a well managed team and I personally couldn't be happier

My twins have been at this nursery for a year and a half now they both have special educational needs and the support they have received from everyone involved with them has been amazing.They have really made progress and management and staff have always supported us as a whole family and understood and made changes for us around all of the hospital appointments. The children's needs are always catered to,we really couldn't ask for better and the twins are learning new things all the time with the support of everyone at the nursery

Prior to sending my 2nd child to Nursery when returning to work I had never had a child in childcare so young and was quite worried about finding the right setting. I visited a few and picked Chesterfield Kids Planet on gut instinct, despite another Kids Planet being en route to work. The staff are genuine and friendly. They have gotten to know my little girl so well, and she will now go to them for comfort in my absence. On mornings she has been upset at drop off I have usually received a photo of her happily eating breakfast before I have even gotten to work, which really puts me at ease. There are regular photos of her doing various crafts and water play with her friends and her little personality has grown so much this last year or so. So pleased I went with my gut instinct on this lovely welcoming setting.

My son has loved his time at kids planet, making friends and bonds with staff and other children. He always has positive things to say about his time learning and growing with staff. It's time for my son to start full time education. I will definitely miss all staff and his peers and it will be a sad day. My son has grown and learnt so much being with kids planet. He has always been well looked after and supported with whatever he is facing or with whatever he needs.

I will forever thank chesterfield kids planet and the team for their care and commitment to my child. Definitely would recommend to everyone.

Lovely staff and my little one is always happy to see them!! Lots of activities and great selection of meals.

Outside gets a little muddy/waterlogged but other than that it's great for the kids especially in summer time!

My child started kids planet nursery in February 2024, his development has improved massively, his speech has improved a lot too since being at nursery, he has always got a smile on his face at pick up time and is so excited to go to nursery. He loves all the different activities that are set up and he loves playing outdoors too, He always speaks about what he has done there. The care and support for my son is amazing.

Since attending this nursery, my child has progressed massively in many ways I could not explain. To put it short, I wish I had enrolled my child sooner. The staff, the care they provide, their activities and just their overall support and care they ensure and provide is amazing. My child started nursery with a dislike of food; it's touch and smell. We are now at the stage of nearly eating. I'm honestly so grateful. Thank you!

I have two children who have loved their time at Kids Planet Chesterfield, my oldest is now ready for school and the next chapter in her life in which she is super exited and prepared for thanks to the staff at kids planet. We were very hesitant and nervous to send our 1yo son to nursery following a very poor experience elsewhere. The staff at kids planet have help him with his confidence, speech and he has flourished into a confident CRAZY 2yo. It was very important to us that our son had a better experience and we are beyond happy with Kids planet and would recommend this nursery to anyone! The staff are attentive and have great communication with parents. Thankyou for taking such good care of our little ones

The team do so much with the kids, every day there is a different activity set up. They're constantly looking for new and exciting activities for the children. The kids are always making things, doing crafts. My child's Keyworker is amazing, there's nothing thats too much trouble and she cares for her as she was her own.

Couldn't recommend this nursery anymore than I could. My nephew goes here and I collect regularly, staff are always very welcoming and friendly and just by the small amount of time I am on the building I can see how happy, loved and secure the children are in the nursery.

The team at the nursery are fantastic, I couldn't ask for more in anyone looking after my daughter whilst I'm at work. They take care of her amazingly and she absolutely loves going. The team do a brilliant job in every way.

Really happy with my daughter's time at this nursery. The staff have took their time to get to know and understand her. They made hand-offs really easy when my daughter was very upset and calmed her down with lots of cuddles and patience. She struggled with her speech but has come on so much over the past 8/9 months. Her confidence has grown and she isn't as shy as she used to be. Thank you to all.

Overall I would 100% recommend this nursery 10/10.

I cannot thank the amazing team at Kids Planet enough for all of their care and support during my little one's time at this nursery. From attending at 15 months to leaving at 4, the staff in each room have helped him settle in, developed his curiosity and love for learning through a variety of fun activities. He loves the water, messy and outdoor play activities the most and always has a smile on his face and the staff usually have a funny story to tell me about his day too. The chef does a fantastic job making different meals for the children to try and eat throughout the day and my little one has eaten a variety of foods there that he loves. I trust the staff to keep my little one safe and well during his time there and they are great at informing parents about any concerns e.g. if they develop a temperature during the nursery day. He has loved his time there and I am sad this phase is ending. The wonderful team will be missed but I know they'll carry on their amazing work! Thank you!

I couldn't recommend this nursery more! All the staff are so welcoming to both the children and the parents. They go above and beyond to help in any way they can. I've never had any worries about my child while he's been at nursery and the staff are always there to listen to any worries that I have about my son outside of nursery. The new manager has stepped up in her new role amazingly!
