Partou Magic Tree Day Nursery & Pre-school

My son has been attending Magic Tree from the age of 18 months all the way through to preschool age where he is now. He has progressed well in his learning and development. He always has a good time and likes to tell us all about his friends at the end of the day when we collect him. Magic Tree supported us through every room transition and through all phases of development. There was a period of time when staff turnover was high and communication lacked but it seems more stable now.

Having had the experience of a different nursery with my eldest child I am really disappointed with Magic Tree. My daughter has attended for nearly 2 years and has hardly any info/photos on the online learning book. I have never had any ‘review of development’. The staff are more interested in cleaning at the end of the day than speaking to parents about their child’s day. My daughter only comes home with dirty clothes from her nappy leaking rather than having fun! I was invited to one parents' evening and raised my concerns and was told things would improve with the new manager. She’s long gone already! There’s such a high turnover of staff that nothing ever improves. Would not recommend and would move my daughter if anywhere else had a space.

My daughter absolutely loves coming to Magic Tree Day Nursery Yate, the staff are amazing and my daughter's key worker is incredible. The staff always communicate so well with updates, and when I pick my daughter up they always give me a really detailed rundown of her day. I have complete trust in all the staff at Magic Tree and I with the new management change recently it’s 100% improved the nursery. I would recommend Magic Tree to any parents and I’m really looking forward to my son starting in September. Thank you so much to all staff.

Our main concern is with communication. At our other nursery they used an app which is really swish and easy with very quick responses, but the app Magic Tree use is so clunky and we've had very few updates since we started, and the main form of comms is email which can take a while. Investment in a new app would go a long way. We would also love regular development meetings but have only had one parents' evening in the last year.

I always feel listened to and that the staff are willing to do whatever they can to support the children. Nothing is too much trouble and they really take the time to get to know each child as an individual.

I recommend Magic Tree. The staff are friendly and my son looks forward to going to Preschool each week. He tries a variety of food there and there are lots of different activities and toys to keep them entertained. I’m happy I chose this nursery as my son seems to love it!

Would just like to heartwarmingly thank, all the staff at the nursery for making my daughter's first few years wonderful and magical, very experienced, very kind, very smiley nothing is a problem, and very attentive, I can't wish for a better start in life for my princess aka squid, thank you all.

I wish I knew that before.

I always enjoy picking my grandson up from nursery as he’s always so happy after his session. His key worker always gives me a full rundown on his day. In the car on the way home, he never stops chatting about what he and his friends did during the day and his favourite story too.

Husband and I thank the staff at Magic Tree from the bottom of our hearts for all they do for our son.

Absolutely fab nursery! I feel my baby is really safe there and so happy while attending! Plenty of activities and fun! Excellent staff looking after children really properly, great communication, my little one really enjoyed it.

Both of my children have attended this lovely nursery and I have complete faith in the staff there. My children have always been happy and formed good bonds with their key worker. There are lots of age-appropriate activities for the children to enjoy with a heavy focus on play-based learning. Highly recommended.

From day 1 back in summer 2019, all of the staff have done their best to cater for a few of my son's extra needs. They genuinely care about the happiness of the child and clearly create a great bond with every one of the children.

I cannot thank Magic Tree enough for stimulating and teaching my daughter new things every day - I’m amazed. They’ve also been amazing accommodating her during my illness. She is so happy at nursery and gets excited to go every morning she goes.

Lovely nursery. Very friendly staff. Made me feel at ease leaving my daughter with them. The outside is lovely and safe for the children. There is a lot of things for the children to play with inside and outside.

Magic Tree day nursery is amazing and the staff are very friendly indeed. My son loves going to nursery and he is very happy here. He has learned so much and made friends which makes me feel comfortable leaving him here.

Magic tree is the best nursery by far. Staff have been amazing with my daughter. I cannot fault them. Her speech is coming on extremely well for an under two. Always comes home happy after a day here.

My son has been attending Magic Tree for just over a year and he has settled so well. The ladies in the baby room look after him so well and are happy to help in any situation. I can't fault any of them. My son is happy to come to the nursery and always talks about staff or children at home. I have recommended Magic Tree to many of my friends and always will do.

This is a great nursery that my daughter attended from the age of 1. Staff are brilliant and attentive, my little girl absolutely loves going there, she settled very quickly and now run inside without looking back, she knows all the room stuff by their names. There are always fun activities to do and lots of things to bring home to show us. Their communication is great and they have been very accommodating in the past. I would recommend this nursery if you are looking for caring and supportive people to look after your little ones, knowing they are always in good hands.
