My daughter was not happy about going to nursery but she eased into Banana Moon within a few days and was extremely happy there. There is always a cheerful reception on entering, the meals are healthy and delicious and reformed my very fussy eater! They have a lovely nurturing routine that makes the children feel safe and know what to expect. The staff are engaging and every day brings a new learning activity and another adventure. My daughter still refers to it as 'my Banana Moon' even now she has started school and I will be eternally grateful for the wonderful service they provided.
My little boy is supported in his education and has become a lot more confident.
The staff are really friendly, we're always greeted with a cheerful "good morning" and are regularly flexible with my partner's erratic shift patterns.
The staff are always enthusiastic, informative and welcoming. They always greet my son by name and seem to enjoy him spending time at the nursery. The recent parents evening was very informative too. I would appreciate a little more feedback on things we should potentially consider doing with our son at home, for instance, if we need to do more reading with him. Although, I appreciate this isn't always needed.
I had had concerns that his nappies were not being changed frequently enough and I do appreciate that with many children it can be difficult to keep track of. We've not had any problems since I raised this as a concern so I'm glad to see that this has improved.
I am extremely happy and impressed with the nursery and the care they provide for my son. He settled really quickly and is happy and content when there. The education my son is receiving is age appropriate but also makes learning fun. The atmosphere is friendly, welcoming and always happy.
After spending our first 13 months together inseparable, only parted two or three times for an hour maximum, I was a bit worried about my daughter starting nursery as I started university. On our first day apart I was lost, I missed my daughter terribly. I couldn't wait to pick her up and when I did I was surprised to find that she had not been upset about missing me at all! She was beaming. Since then, she has made strong connections with both the children and the staff. She is always greeted with such warmth and enthusiasm and I can tell she feels so at home in the nursery. Over the 6 months that she has been attending the nursery, she has grown into the most independent, clever and funny little girl I have ever met and I believe that the fun, caring, kind staff at Banana Moon have helped her flourish this way. The nursery itself has brilliant facilities and masses of toys to keep even the busiest children busy but it's the amazing work from the nurses that makes it so perfect.
I had tried 2/3 nurseries for my little boy and didn't feel happy leaving him at any of them until I visited Banana Moon Bridgend. The staff are fab and so welcoming and I felt instantly happy. It's such an open environment and I felt as if the girls would treat my little boy just how I like to parent. It's fingerprint recognition, which means I can pick my little boy up at any time and see him in his environment. If he's unhappy the girls are not rushing me out of the door, it's all about the happiness of the child. I 100% recommend this nursery.
Thank you for such kind words. Our Banana Moon Family is growing and I am delighted that your son is a part of our family.
Only has attended Banana Moon since it opened in April. My son was 3 in July and has been in Full Moons with his key worker. My son's speech has improved significantly, he is counting in Welsh, he knows the weather in Welsh and has been potty trained. Thank you to his key worker.
I have 9 month old twins that attend this nursery. They have settled in brilliantly and all the staff are so great with them, kind, helpful, approachable. I love this nursery.
Thank you for such kind words. We have a wonderful team here at Banana Moon Bridgend and are delighted that the twins are two of our Baby Moons.
The first week was hard for my daughter because I was the only one she spent all her time with from when she was born, but excellent and professional staff worked so hard with both of us (to be honest) that my daughter was happy to go there after 4 days. Now, without any problem, she says 'bye' and is happy there. You can easily see (like I did) that this nursery is open because people there love what they are doing. They know what to do, how to help and best of all, they are always happy in what they do.
Thanks you for such kind words. I am very proud of the team and we are delighted to have your daughter as one of our little moons. She is a delight.
