YMCA Sovereign Preschool

This is an excellent preschool. My son has been here since he was 2 and loves every minute of it. The facilities are amazing. Lovely soft play room, sensory room and a huge outdoor space which was the deciding factor for us, seeing as our boy is constantly on the go. Not only are the facilities amazing, but the staff are too. So kind and caring and generally love all the children. We highly recommend this preschool.

YMCA Preschool has been brilliant when it comes to my son. They are friendly and fun, and although when he started he was apprehensive and had a meltdown the first few times he loves it! He has made lots of friends and participates in great activities and plenty of outdoor play. He also loves the staff, I can't say anything but good things about this pre-school.

I am absolutely pleased with the overall service within the YMCA pre-school. Amazing teachers and helpers, my son absolutely loves everyone there. He is a little anxious with everyday life, especially since the first lockdown but since he started pre-school here in September 2020 he is much better and learned so much and always comes out so happy. He made his first friends here too.

We have been very pleased with our son's care. The staff go above and beyond to make sure he is cared for in a way that suits his needs.

My son recently started at the pre-school after his previous setting closed. I was a little worried at first but the staff have been amazing helping him settle in and giving him the confidence to explore the new centre. Excellent large facilities, (sensory room etc) there is scope for a better library resource and more small toys. I am a little concerned that the manager will not be replaced by a full-time person and hope this will be monitored and reviewed.

My son has attended the pre-school at the YMCA Reigate for the past year and a bit and I highly recommend them. He has some additional needs and the staff have gone above and beyond to learn what works for him and how best to support his learning and development. I will be sad when he leaves for school this September, but will definitely be sending my daughter once she is old enough.

This is an excellent preschool. Our 3-year-old daughter started in September and has settled in really quickly, due to the kind and caring staff. The facilities are great! Lovely outdoor space, a soft play room, sensory room, and focus on natural play, suits our daughter's energy and desire to play. We highly recommend this preschool.

My daughter was two when she started preschool. Since then she has grown in confidence and is now ready for school. They'll have every day different activities to stimulate their little minds. The staff is professional and friendly and my daughter enjoys every minute in preschool.

My boys are 4 and 2 and love it here. They've made some good friends and love the staff. They've really helped my youngest, who is still non-verbal and my eldest who have grown in confidence since attending.

My daughter loves attending this nursery. The staff are friendly and welcoming and always happy to go the extra mile.

YMCA Preschool is a welcoming and friendly setting that provides a range of traditional activities. The staff are committed and enthusiastic. All the children enjoy spending time together. They offer flexible days and great value for money.

We will be very sad when our son makes his transition to school in September 2018. The staff and setting will be sorely missed.

All staff are lovely and very welcoming and my child has settled very well here. Great outdoor space, and other resources.

Fantastic staff. The staff really get to know all the kids very well and are able to communicate with each child in a way that resonates with them. Kids enjoy their time there.

Both our daughters settled very quickly into their fifteen hours at the Sovereign. All the staff are pleasant, polite and great with the children. Our girls enjoy going there and interacting with the staff, bringing home tales of their adventures.

All the staff are very friendly and have no concerns when leaving my daughter with them.

We love the YMCA preschool. My son currently attends Monday-Friday and my daughter left in September to start infant school. There are plenty of activities on each day from junk modelling and painting to water play and building dens. The care given by the play workers is great and both of my children built lovely relationships with them as well as friends. My daughter thrived here and I'm hoping my son will do the same too!

My son has attended this nursery since it was newly established. The staff are very friendly, trustworthy and approachable. Unlike other nurseries we attended, YMCA offers 6-hour sessions which worked well for my child and also my working hours. My son loves going to this preschool and has developed so many skills here. We will miss this happy environment when he moves on to school in Sept this year.

I have been very impressed with YMCA nursery, from the very beginning the staff have been extremely helpful and approachable. They have made my daughter feel safe and happy, she thoroughly enjoys going to nursery. The activities the staff plan are fantastic, making pancakes/pizza and cakes. My daughter enjoys telling me all about it. I would recommend this nursery to friends and family. The staff are lovely and the facilities are good too.
