Twizzle Tops Day Nursery South Woodham is located at Marsh Farm South Woodham Ferrers.

Staff at Twizzle Tops Marsh Farm know that children learn best through play and support them on a daily basis as they explore, develop and grow, encouraging children to choose their own activities and be independent. Their aim is provide each child with a safe, stimulating and fun learning environment, while offering a nursery care plan that is designed around each individual child's needs.

Twizzle Tops Marsh Farm offers five fully-resourced rooms in addition to providing children with access to the Animal Adventure Park, a fun and natural environment that is full of outdoor activities and provides children with the chance to interact with animals. Children can enjoy physical play in the soft play area and learn about the care of animals at Marsh Farm.

The nursery works with the local community authorities and other local agencies to ensure that children receive the best support to reach their full potential. Nursery staff work to ensure that resources and activities are carefully selected to meet the requirements of the the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and plan each child's day around their interests, abilities and requirements.

In addition, the Twizzle Tops team work with parents to ensure that they are kept up-to-date with their child's progress and as part of the nursery's caring service, each child and their parent is designated a Key Person who will inform parents how their child has been at the end of each session.

Love the nursery birthday. My daughters go here, the staff are easy to get along with really at ease love the nursery setting. Would definitely recommend other people to come. My 4yr old has been going for a while now and glad I put her in.

Our son has attended the nursery for almost two years now and we couldn't choose a better place for him. From the one to one activities, crafts, adventure, imaginative play, farm visits and soft play, he is never bored and always has a brilliant day. Being a full-time attendee, I trust the staff completely
to provide him with fun activities whilst also teaching him new and exciting things on a day to day basis. The food is fab and my son always comes home happy after a full day of fun!

My son has been going to this nursery since it opened and it has been the making of him, he was so painfully shy before he started that I was dreading it but everyone was so supportive and lovely. I never once worried about him, they guided him without pushing him too far out of his comfort zone and
really understood him, I can't thank them enough. The activities they do are amazing! I quite often wish I could go with him, he has so much fun.
Nothing is too much trouble and they are very approachable but most importantly they really care. I highly recommend this nursery.

My older children attended another nursery for the last 5 years, but when it came to my youngest baby he absolutely hated going. I was very apprehensive about sending him to Twizzle Tops, but from that first visit, we were made to feel at ease. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, they made him
feel included and part of the preschool and this was only a visit! He absolutely loves attending, and he gets so excited about it being his Twizzle Tops day. The range of activities they provide engage and stimulate the children constantly and it’s a really good learning experience for them. They’ve recently started Spanish lessons, and he’s started coming home with little bits he has learnt! He is a real little character anyways, but, the staff have helped build his confidence even further. My only negative is that it’s so popular there isn’t any more availability - but, I guess that shows how brilliant this nursery really is! Thank you so much for doing what you do :)

Love this place!


The staff right from the first day made me feel welcome, knew the children's names and greeted them like long lost friends - and still do each and every morning. My daughter left last year to go to start primary school but still asks if she can go back in the holidays!! My son

absolutely loves it here - he runs off so fast to get in!


We, of course, have the added bonus of it being at Marsh Farm so there's always plenty to do outside, the bouncy pillows, feeding the animals, walks, soft play, tractor rides - the list is endless.


The staff are always very helpful and accommodating with any questions or needs, they encourage the children with any milestones they are working on - from weaning the very young to potty training - it really is home from home. I'd recommend this nursery to anyone - my children couldn't have been happier - and that's what counts :-)

There is nothing better than when you leave your son with his teachers feeling 100% confident he is in good hands. I was so nervous about my little one starting nursery but the staff at twizzle tops made it a breeze.
The staff, surroundings, food,cleanliness and day to day activities at twizzle tops
are all 10/10 in my eyes.
They always go over and above what they need to do involving parents and make you have such a bond with the nursery.

My partner and I feel very lucky to have our child at this nursery. She has opportunities here amongst a working farm that she would not have elsewhere. Often we're told of her trips to feed the animals, ride the tractor or teacups, visit the soft play area next door, and many other visits out into
the local countryside.
The facilities are clean and well kept, the children are well fed and our girl is very excited each morning to get there.
The staff are brilliant, they make a huge effort to make each seasonal event different and interesting, as well as keep us updated throughout the day with pictures and videos on social media.
As a testament to the care and attention of the staff, popular roleplay games when at home often include the animals she visits or emulating the nursery staff themselves.
Since joining this nursery we have seen our little one's confidence grow a lot, with daily feedback of small achievements specific to her.
We are very thankful to all the people at the TT farm.

My daughter has been attending Twizzle Tops at Marsh Farm since she was 6 months old - it was, in fact, the week the Nursery opened. We have always been delighted with the care and experiences she gains during her time there and now, at nearly 3 years old, she is a confident, kind and polite girl.

Fantastic, bubbly and caring staff. My son loves going to nursery and can't ever wait to go back. He also loves that they get to go out on the farm, on the tractor and get to see all the different animals. If your child loves animals this is definitely an amazing choice of nursery for them.
For a
parent, the nursery always makes sure you know exactly what the child has done, eaten and been on that day. Also you get nice updates during the day on the facebook group that's only accessible by the parents and staff, along with the learning journal they update with all the different assessments they do all the time, not only written but with photos and videos too, that you can get a copy of once your child finishes there so you can keep a record of it for life .... love this nursery.

My little boy has been at this nursery since he was 11 months old. The staff are all brilliant and so caring. My little boy loves going to nursery and can't get out of the car quickly enough when we arrive. The staff do so much with the children and they are always out on the farm. I can't recommend
this nursery enough.

I am a big fan of Twizzle Tops Nursery. I have two children that attend and they both run into Nursery most days and are so excited to go in. They have their friends and they also love all the girls working there. They do lots of creative play and make lots of different things to bring home. They are

The team at this nursery are fantastic - nothing is ever too much trouble, and my 10-month-old son was settled in superbly. I was anxious about leaving him at first, as most parents are - but they were wholly unnecessary. I absolutely love getting his little report card detailing what he's done that
day - and most days he's out and about meeting animals on the farm or having messy - play - just fantastic, he does more at nursery than I do with him on most of my day's off. It's a secure, clean environment and they put great emphasis on child development no matter what the child's age. Already recommended to all my mummy friends. My son has been going here since late last year (2017).

My daughter has attended Twizzle Tops full time since August 2016 and we have nothing but positive things to say about the nursery.
The staff are wonderful, they are friendly, polite, helpful and they go out of their way to make the children feel safe and ensure that they have fun at all times. There
has been many an early morning drop off where I have arrived at the nursery frazzled and stressed and left with a smile on my face because you can't help but be cheered up by their positive attitudes.
My daughter has flourished there and has gone from being fairly shy and reserved to being full of beans. I have an older son and as a result, have a lot of experience with childcare providers and I just wish Twizzle Tops had been around when he was younger because it is such an amazing facility.
My daughter regularly asks to go at the weekends and is disappointed when she finds out she can't, which is definitely a good sign.
It's an amazing place, I feel lucky to have found it.
