Partou Kids Corner Day Nursery & Pre-School is set in a large converted Victorian building half a mile outside Sandbach town centre, easily reached by bus or car. The historic building is full of character, with original features including patterned flooring and old workhouse bells that spark curiosity and wonder in children from the moment they arrive.

Large, open rooms with high ceilings and big windows create a light and airy environment ideal for early years learning and creativity. Older children enjoy free-flow access to multiple spaces including reading corners, a home corner and a dedicated creative room, moving between them according to their own interests.

Extensive outdoor space surrounds the nursery, with nature, trees and even cows and sheep in the neighbouring fields providing a wonderfully rich backdrop for outdoor play and exploration. A newly renovated outdoor learning area is used to grow seasonal herbs and vegetables, giving children hands-on opportunities to learn where food comes from, develop fine motor skills and care for living things.

The sensory room is accessible to all age groups throughout the week, offering lights, textures, relaxing sounds and calming activities to support exploration and emotional regulation. A monthly yoga session led by a trained instructor and children's author adds a further dimension, building strength, balance, coordination and emotional wellbeing.

The child-led learning philosophy runs through everything here, with activities carefully developed around each child's individual interests and experiences beyond the nursery.

The best thing about Kids Corner is the staff. They are excellent and genuinely passionate about the children and their work. The nursery is always very welcoming and the events and activities are great for the children.

Our son loves attending Kids Corner. He started there 6 months ago at 12 months old and settled in so quickly. All of the staff are great and made, what can be a stressful time for Mums, very easy and reassuring for me. I have never had any issues or concerns since he started there and love hearing
all about his fun-filled days when we collect him. Thank you Kids Corner for making us feel so welcome and for taking such good care of our little one.

Our 8-month-old daughter attends Kids Corner one day per week and she has settled in really well. All of the team and really friendly and our daughter is well cared for. Our daughter's key worker in the baby room is brilliant and she certainly has a great time here. We couldn't have picked a better

I was a little hesitant to send my 2nd daughter to Kids Corner as the senior management when my elder daughter was there, were not very approachable nor did they appear to have the children's best interests at heart. However as soon as I found out that the Managers were stepping up, I was absolutely
made up. There was then no question, I was definitely sending my daughter there. I was very warmly welcomed on the show around and was made to feel very at ease. There was such a friendly and happy atmosphere, the staff that worked there genuinely love what they do. My elder daughter, now 6, absolutely thrived in her time at Kids Corner. I can see a very similar development in my 1 year old daughter, who has been attending the nursery for the past 5 months. It is so comforting to know that both myself and my husband can work full time, and not have to worry that our daughter is in safe hands. Thank you!!!

Unfortunately, in recent times there has been a high staff turnover (maternity, leavers etc) this cannot be avoided and during these times all the staff have worked hard to ensure the high standards are maintained. My child does have additional medical needs and during these times of change, it can
be unsettling but always been assured by the management even with new starters his needs will be met. Thank you for all your hard work and making it a good, learning environment for my son.

My son came to Kids Corner after leaving a nursery who breached his safety. We found it hard to trust again, I am so glad we gave Kids Corner a chance because they have been amazing and my son has built such a trusting bond and friendship with each and every member of staff. They are very helpful and
I can't recommend them and Kids Den enough. I'd like to personally take this opportunity to thank them for their great support and teaching.

I can’t recommend Kids Corner enough! They are so caring and understanding about all of the kids wants and needs. My daughter loves coming and even if she has a bit of a wobble when coming in, the staff are amazing with calming her down and making her feel safe and included. She always comes out with
a big smile on her face and sometimes wants to stay even longer. Such a lovely nursery!

This is a lovely nursery. My 2 year old loves attending. The staff are kind and attentive.
They do a broad range of activities every day and listen to what the children enjoy doing and expand upon it to encourage them to learn and broaden their knowledge.

My little girl has been going to Kids Corner for over a year now and loves it, the staff are so caring and kind. She does lots of crafts and always always eats all her food there.... so it must be good!!! She has made lots of friends and always comes away smiling!!

My first son attended Kids Corner Private Day Nursery from when he was 15 months old until he started school. He received wonderful care and support during his time here. His key worker was outstanding, he received all the help and support he needed and we as parents are communicated to every step of
the way. There are workshops run in the pre-school to show you what your children do in regards to phonics and maths and what you can do at home so the children have a consistent and fun learning experience. My youngest son now attends and he really enjoys spending time here, he has lots of fun toys to play with and the nursery staff are great, thinking of lots of varied and wonderful activities to enrich their learning experience and nurture their strengths whilst helping them with areas where they may not naturally thrive. There are parents evening which you can attend to see how your child is progressing which is great. We can't recommend this nursery highly enough.

I have never known my child to take to somewhere so good. My little girl wakes up and asks to go every day.


I was worried about her going at first but the girls made me feel so at ease and now my little girl doesn't even look back when I go.

A very nice nursery we moved our child from a different nursery in the area and Kids Corner is 100% better. My son seems very happy there and we are happy with all the staff they are very friendly. He never complains about the food so it must be good. I would like to see them go on trips in the future.
