Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Adderbury

My little girl started at Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Adderbury at 11 months old. She went all the way through the nursery, until she left to go to school. In every room she made fantastic bonds with the staff and still talks about some of them now! The whole staff team, along with management, made the return to work so much easier. Knowing our little one was being so well cared for was such a relief to us, definitely no mum guilt here! We always had a detailed account of her day and lots of photos, showing us how happy she was and how much she was learning. Communication is excellent and we always felt informed of our child’s nursery life. Our little girl made lots of little friends who we have kept in touch with. A true little family, nurturing, caring, warm and welcoming!

As a mum with a demanding job it is imperative that my children received reliable and nurturing childcare in a safe and caring environment. Simply put we have received 6 combined years of wonderful care and support as the children progressed through the nursery. The staff are understanding and willing to embrace the needs of both children and their families, which is delivered against a well-managed early years framework. It is not often that staff in nursery settings are all consistently passionate about the children in their care but this is exactly what is offered in this setting. We are very grateful that the nursery has been part of our children’s early years development and care.

My baby girl has recently joined Adderbury Day Nursery. My eldest daughter also had to attend nursery when she was younger and I remember the dread I would feel each morning as she peeled off me crying and screaming. Needless to say when we decided that our baby would also need to attend nursery I was filled with this sense of impending doom, readying myself for the daily battle. But then we found Adderbury and from day 2 (there were tears on day one!) my baby girl has gone in every day with the biggest smile. She giggles and claps her hands when she spots her key workers or any of the lovely ladies in her room or even the managers themselves! Her online tracker is filled in every day with lovely photos and linked objectives and with her full routine so we know everything that is happening and most importantly baby girl is so so so happy and making amazing progress, the team are so supportive and understanding. So happy we found you and words can't express the gratitude we feel!

My daughter has been attending Adderbury Day Nursery since she was 6 months old, she will soon be 3. She absolutely loves it, and is thriving there, to say the least! The staff are some of her favourite people, and we have full confidence that she is well looked after and cared for. We’re grateful we have been able to be a part of the nursery.

Our now school-age child benefitted hugely from the preschool room, it meant she settled into school really quickly and is now doing so well. Over the years we have seen the nursery go from strength to strength. We are forever grateful for the happy times and nurturing development they have given our kids. We highly recommended them.

I have been really pleased with Adderbury Day Nursery so far. My daughter joined when she was 12 months old and has now been there two months. The staff have been great and really helped my daughter settle in. She now loves it there and I have noticed a definite improvement in her abilities since she's been there. They have a good variety of toys and activities and a great array of home-cooked meals. The staff have stuck with the routine I asked them to and my daughter already has a great bond with them. They encourage the children to go outside and they have freeflow time, where the children can choose which room they want to be in, which my daughter seems to like.

My little girl attended Adderbury Day Nursery from the age of 12months to almost 4 years. Adderbury Day Nursery was an excellent nursery for her, with excellent staff and facilities. They were always striving to make improvements and were always very flexible. I would highly recommend Adderbury Day Nursery.

My daughter has been going to the nursery since she was 10 months old. She enjoys her days at nursery and always talks about her day and all the things she has been doing. We particularly like the free flow time when she can mix with children she knows in different rooms.

The day we met we knew it was the nursery for us; energetic, enthusiastic, fun, progressive and caring. We weren't mistaken and we will always be grateful. A truly wonderful environment in which both our boys have learned to learn, play and socialise.

My daughter has a wonderful time at the nursery. I feel happy to drop her off in the morning knowing that she will be well looked after and enjoy herself for the day. The staff support her in her learning and have helped massively with things like napping and eating when she first started at 8 months. It is lovely for her to be in the village nursery and get to know other parents and children who live nearby.

My son has been at Adderbury Day Nursery for just over a year and started when he was one. He loves going to nursery and asks to go on his days off. It is a very friendly nursery with excellent staff and activities including a mud kitchen, baking, arts and crafts and plenty of toys and books.

The nursery is always very tidy as well as the staff being so welcoming and friendly. My daughter hasn't been there for long, however the time she has been there I've been very impressed and comfortable with leaving her there. My daughter made her father a card and present at the nursery for fathers day and was unable to attend nursery the day she would have bought it home, so the nursery personally delivered to our home so he could have it in time. I was so impressed by this.
