Into-Play @ Barnwood opened in October 2015 and was previously the old Barnwood doctor's surgery. It is perfectly situated to provide childcare to Barnwood, Elmbridge, Hucclecote and Abbeymead.

The nursery has been carefully designed to provide all age groups with superb equipment and activities to suit their developmental stage. They have an under 2's room, 2-3's room and large pre-school unit, which is complemented by a huge outdoor space to allow the children to get out in the fresh air and enjoy mud kitchens, reading teepee and the outside playroom, known as "The Shed". (Gloucester Rugby Reference!)

Wonderful preschool in a lovely setting, staff are amazing and go the extra mile. My daughter loves attending and enjoys the daily activities. Will be very sad to leave in September once my child starts school.

IntoPlay Barnwood is a lovely nursery. The staff are absolutely amazing with the children and the management are well organised and approachable. Fantastic nursery. I have a 2-year-old and a 6-month-old that attend and they both love it. The staff spent lots of time ensuring both of my children had enough settling sessions before they started which was very reassuring. Communication is brilliant both from room staff and management. Love seeing
pictures of what my children are up to on the app. Would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to others.

Brilliant nursery! The staff are top-notch, really professional and welcoming. Our little lad struggled with talking at first, but his teachers in the 2-3s and now in Pre-School have been brilliant, giving him that extra bit of care and attention. He's been attending since 2022 and he's always buzzing
to head off to nursery.

We moved our little boy here from another nursery and we couldn't be happier. He has been supported really well with various sensory issues he has faced. All the staff are friendly, welcoming and care about the children. The staff turn around is low and the staff really take the time to bond with your

A lovely friendly nursery, all staff communicated with have been so welcoming and kind to myself and my son who has recently started here. The settling-in period was really thorough ensuring everyone was comfortable with the transition into nursery for my son and he comes out happy and chatting away,

Our child has recently moved from the baby room to the 2-3 room. The team have been great in settling her in and she has the best time there with her pals.
Whilst she was in the baby room, she was so well cared for and the staff there were so welcoming and attentive. All the team put so much effort
into looking after our daughter, they fill the day with great activities and fun things to keep her entertained all day long. I really like sending our daughter to Into Play, the team are brilliant!

My eldest daughter previously attended preschool and my youngest is in 2-3s having been at the nursery since 1 yrs old.
The nursery has always been great with communication and always answered my questions quickly and with compassion.
I’ll always be grateful for how the nursery boosted my eldest daughter’s
confidence & set her up for school.
My youngest daughter is always so happy and I never have to worry about her because is she so well looked after and also learning well.
I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

Really impressed with IntoPlay Barnwood. Our son is very happy there and joyfully toddles off inside when we drop him off.

My son has been with IntoPlay Barnwood since Sept 2023. He is such a happy child entering the creche in the morning and always in a good mood when he comes home. He is exposed to fun activities during the day and is developing well while in their care. Very happy so far.

We moved here from another nursery as our child has complex dietary requirements. The nursery are more than capable of dealing with them in a safe and nutritious manner and always make sure she's included in what everyone else is doing/eating.
They never make us feel like we ask too much and go out
of their way to help parents.
We get information and pictures every day of the activities she's been doing and she's always happy to go in.
We also get regular updates on her developments throughout the year.

We moved our daughter from a different nursery to play in the summer. The transition was seamless, and the Manager and her team were amazing at settling in our daughter. We have had absolutely no issues since our daughter started! She’s grown in confidence and seems so happy there. Our daughter has
allergies and from day one into play have been amazing following this, with absolutely no mistakes or slip ups, they’ve also helped her to understand what she can and can’t have. Communication is great if I ever have any questions I get prompt replies! It’s also been incredible how our daughter has had the same key worker since starting, this changed a lot at our old provision. Staff turnover appears to be very low which is great in such a hard but very important line of work. All the staff are so lovely and caring. I’ve been recommending this nursery to everyone.

Our daughter has been at IntoPlay since she was a year old and is now in the preschool room. Every transition has been so smooth, with her given plenty of time to get used to the new rooms before she moves across. She loves her days here, has lots of friends and the staff are all great.

My daughter has been here since September now and is so happy loves all the staff. She enjoyed going to nursery and when the gate is opened she goes straight in without any fuss. She is due to move to the next room and I have no concerns as her settling-in sessions have been very positive. The staff

My daughter is my second child and her older brother attended another nursery, graduating to primary school just as it changed management.
We hadn’t looked around beforehand, making the assumption that my daughter would follow in her brother’s footsteps. After a few terrible settles at this nursery
we made the decision to switch to Barnwood.
What a welcome we had!
The staff in the baby room immediately put my daughter at ease. They quickly involved her in their activities, taking pictures and communicating with us, which reassured us that she was happy and busy in her new setting.
We have been so pleased with how the manager and her team have engaged with our daughter. They have really worked hard to ensure that no problems arise, being proactive with any concerns and adapting their procedures to address my daughter’s needs.
We can see how the input of the staff at IntoPlay has brought my daughter’s social development along. We have already recommended the setting to other parents!

The best nursery. My 3-year-old has attended since he was 18 months old and now my 1-year-old also attends. Both children have come on leaps and bounds since attending and my eldest tells me about all the fun he's had at nursery. I will be sad when he leaves in September for school!
