Teddies Tots Day Nursery

Very well ran, kids seem to love it. Only criticism would be a smoother transition when collecting children, you input a time of collection yet sometimes you can wait 20 minutes per child to collect. App allows us to understand what's going on at all times, foods eaten and sleep had etc.

My daughter started at Teddies Tots last October in the Babies group and has absolutely loved it there since the first day! The open-plan setup of the nursery is lovely, the age groups are separated but in a way that they can still all see each other which makes it feel really inclusive. All the staff are lovely but I have to call out two staff members in particular who have been pivotal in settling my daughter into nursery. She gets excited at the mention of their names at home and can't wait to get through the door in the morning! The nursery are great at planning multiple activities for the children and will always share their plans for the week as well as keeping us updated with the occasional photo. I couldn't recommend Teddies Tots enough - communication is great, the staff are lovely and most importantly my daughter thoroughly enjoys going every day.

Teddies Tots is a wonderful nursery and is really bringing out the best in my daughter. They are kind and ambitious and are preparing her exceptionally well for school! Thank you to the lovely and caring team!

Lovely nursery and lovely staff. My nephew attended for 3+ years and loved it and now my toddler has joined the family too. Staff are very friendly and caring. Feel really comfortable leaving her there. Loads of activities to engage the children and learn. Wider variety of healthy food available. They are great at accommodating personal preferences for your child. Frequently get pictures which is really nice to see them having fun. Brilliant nursery!

Absolutely wonderful staff and great positive environment for my daughter to learn and grow. She is really happy at the nursery and excited to go. They have catered to her vegan diet and there are always fun themes and activities for them. The outdoor space is slightly limited but this cannot be helped and location is great that we can walk from home. Would highly recommend!

Teddies Tots is an amazing nursery, my son has been going for 2.5 years now and he is thriving and learning so much and is in a very happy environment and has developed close connections with all of his carers, who show such care for my son you can tell they all have a great bond with him which makes going to work much easier! He is learning whilst doing it with fun and play at the heart of everything, nothing is too much trouble for the staff and the nursery manager will happily put in catch-ups when you need them and discuss any issues, all round a great experience, will be very sad to leave when he goes to school!

Teddies is a great nursery, my daughter has been so happy coming in and loves all her teachers in upper pre-school, as well as the other staff members in the other rooms. She comes home talking about the things she learns from her class and has been showing more interest in learning things. My daughter enjoys playing in the garden and loves the soft play area! The nursery is kept clean at all times.

My daughters love Teddies Tots! I can't quite believe how fast their development has been since they joined in Nov 23. They didn't settle well in their last nursery but have settled flawlessly into Teddies Tots. They are only in 2 days but their excitement, confidence, and overall happiness have left me so comforted to know they are well looked after. The increase in vocabulary has been so wonderful to hear and I have Teddies Tots to thank for that. The staff are outstanding and truly care about the girl's development. The variety of activities every single day is fantastic and with the recent opening of the soft play area, the children have the best time regardless of the weather.

Teddies Tots is wonderful! From my first show around to settling in days and my little one starting, I have been nothing but impressed. The facilities are wonderful and the staff are all utterly amazing! As a first-time mum I was so worried about leaving my daughter but the staff were so understanding and supportive and my little girl settled in right away. The communication is outstanding and the overall atmosphere is brilliant. I cannot recommend this nursery enough!

Our son loves going to Teddies Tots Day Nursery. The staff are so friendly and approachable and have all contributed to our son's development. The nursery communicates with parents via an app and updates daily on everything including what they have eaten, nappy changes and sleeping times. A planning sheet is sent out weekly which lists all activities for the following week so you can see what they will be learning which gives you the chance to talk to your child about what they have been up to and reinforce the ideas. The team also send out regular photos to accompany the weekly activities which give you a great insight into your child's time at nursery. Our son has developed so much since his time at Teddies Tots and always looks forward to going in, in the mornings.

Nursery and staff absolutely brilliant. My daughter (18 months) loves it and the staff. She has only been for 2 months but it's like she's been for a year already, she really enjoys it. Staff are wonderful always kind, smiling, and pleasant. Very patient with you and your child at all times. You can ask or request anything they will always do their best to ensure they can help you and your child in the best way.

Our son has been within Teddies Tots since he was 1 year and half (just over 2 years ago). At the beginning we were really nervous in putting him to nursery, as I was even considering if I should quit my job and taking care of him. But I know we have done the best choice. Cannot thank enough the staff for always caring for our son, for helping him develop so much and so well in all this time, for making him feel safe and loved within the setting, even when it was time for him to move to upper rooms. Everyone is really friendly and welcoming and would highly recommend Teddies Tots.

If there were ever any problems or concerns the staff at Teddies always took the time to listen so we could overcome any hurdles. They really get to know each individual child and their families. My son always enjoyed going to nursery there and he loved the staff members. He really did flourish over the 2.5 years he was at Teddies and I have so many thanks for all the team there.

Can’t speak highly enough about Teddies Tots. My son has been going to Teddies for the past 6 months and he absolutely loves it. The staff are amazing, helpful, knowledgeable and look after your child like one of their own. They do a multitude of different activities throughout the day to keep them busy, and always kept up to date by the app.

Honestly cannot recommend it enough!

Our son has been attending this nursery for 9 months and it’s been a great move for him. The staff are friendly and caring and we are impressed with the activities they arrange and document on the app each week. It’s fantastic value for money and our son loves it there. Would recommend to everyone.

My son started in the toddler's group in Feb 2023. Last 8 months, we can definitely see the improvements in his learning and speaking. All the staff are kind, and supportive, and respond quickly to queries and messages. I would recommend this nursery.

I have sent both of my children to this beautiful nursery. They have always felt so loved and cared for and they really do feel like family to us. The activities they do always look like so much fun, especially the messy play, and both my kids have been suitably worn out (in the best way) by the end of the day. Cannot recommend them enough!

My child is in Uppers and she loves it. My daughter has learned a lot this year and comes home happy every day. There is a great team in Uppers and all the staff at the nursery are very nice. I would recommend the nursery to anyone who asks.

I was thinking of leaving this review for quite a while, as we removed our daughter back in May 2023. My daughter was enrolled to the Teddies Tots when she was 11 months old and attended until 2 years and 4 months. The issues started when she was moved to lowers in Feb 2023. Since then until 4th May 2023, we had ongoing issues. She fell asleep in the poop and she had a severe nappy rash. Her bum wasn't changed properly. She smelled of poo most of the time, also dirty nappy leaked on a few occasions. The last straw was a scratch on her privates, which just faded off after 4 months. I have been told that did not happen at the nursery or that she did this herself and that is the first child removed from the nursery due to nappy rash. Overall I was forced to resign from my work, as finding a good nursery takes time and there is a waiting list in most of the nurseries. Please reconsider this nursery, as that was a very stressful time for our little family. I am hoping that Teddies Tott improve the standards.

Teddies Tots Day Nursery is an amazing nursery! We're so happy we found this place, with extremely caring staff. They take a very child-centred approach, meaning the care they provide is very personalised to the child. They do lots of fun, messy play activities. They even have a whole soft playroom, which is amazing so the children have the opportunity even in bad weather/winter to be active every day. They also really try to focus on each child's strength, for example when they speak another language at home, they try to incorporate some words into the nursery day. Staff also puts importance on healthy habits, including eating, brushing teeth, tidying up and talking about emotions. All the staff is extremely lovely, and approachable. I recommend this setting to all my good friends in the area!
