Banana Moon Sale Day Nursery is a friendly nursery set in a wonderful fully renovated Victorian building. The nursery has been graded 'Good' by Ofsted (May 2024). A full day care service is provided for children aged three months to five years, in a safe and nurturing environment with highly experienced and qualified staff.

Ideally located close to Sale's town centre and Sale Metro link station the nursery also benefits from a large car park. Parents who commute via metro link to the city centre will often leave their car at the nursery free of charge.

All children at Banana Moon Sale benefit from various activities all included in the fees. Optional swimming lessons are also available. The nursery provides children with a purposeful and stimulating learning environment where they can thrive and develop.

Banana Moon Sale has four main rooms: baby floor with two main rooms and direct access to the large garden, Toddler room with separate sleep room. A pre-school floor which also benefits from direct access to the large garden area. Al children also have access to the sensory room and soft play room. These areas of the nursery help to enhance children's learning and allow the nursery to offer a range of exciting activities every day.

A team of dedicated and highly skilled staff members have been carefully selected for their enthusiasm, dedication and skills and collectively have decades of experience in the childcare sector, striving to provide quality care and early education.

All practitioners hold full paediatric first-aid training and the majority of staff are level 3 or above or working towards this.

Full Day: (7.30am - 6.30pm, includes breakfast, lunch and hot afternoon meal all prepared in house by our nursery chef).
Half Day: (7.30 - 1pm or 1pm - 6.30pm)
Government childcare funding options are also available for 2,3 & 4 year olds. In 2024 funding is being expanded to include working parents from 9mths old. Please contact the nursery for more info.


The nursery operates 51 weeks a year, closed Xmas week.

The nursery and stag are fantastic my little girl loves going and is also learning so much from them!I'd recommend to everybody.
The food that is served is all homemade and varies, I know my little one is eating well and healthy during the time she's there.

The nursery is fantastic, I can't fault it. As a father, my previous day care has felt quite daunting but not here. They are always inviting us in for different things and my son loves it here. The garden is a plus point as my son loves digging for worms etc. He also loves the soft play and the local
walks they go on so often. If I have any more children they'll definitely be coming to Banana Moon.

The nursery is excellent! I feel comfortable leaving my daughter here and have done since day 1. the team have always made me feel confident in their abilities and they are all warm and friendly. Fees are reasonable and do reflect the services provided. The girls are always telling me what she has done
and where they have been, along with involving me in her development and also their plans for developing the nursery. Finally the nursery is clean and well resourced and the fresh high quality home made food is a credit to the nursery - very healthy too!

My grandchild has been attending Banana Moon Day Nursery in Sale. They made both me, daughter and grandchild feel very welcome and helped my grandchild settle in very quickly. All off the staff are very loving and caring. All of the staff went above and beyond. I would recommend Banana Moon to anybody
who is looking for childcare both me and my daughter are more than happy with the service that we are receiving.

My daughter enjoys it very much. She likes playing, and arts and crafts, and shows off what she made. She likes going outside and on visits.

Very happy with this brand new nursery. Lovely friendly staff and always a great welcome and goodbye. Baby seems very content here and big smiles when she comes home. (13 months old). Also very flexible and accommodating to my shift pattern. Great opening and closing times, that bit later helps.
