Banana Moon Sale Day Nursery is a friendly nursery set in a wonderful fully renovated Victorian building. The nursery has been graded 'Good' by Ofsted (May 2024). A full day care service is provided for children aged three months to five years, in a safe and nurturing environment with highly experienced and qualified staff.

Ideally located close to Sale's town centre and Sale Metro link station the nursery also benefits from a large car park. Parents who commute via metro link to the city centre will often leave their car at the nursery free of charge.

All children at Banana Moon Sale benefit from various activities all included in the fees. Optional swimming lessons are also available. The nursery provides children with a purposeful and stimulating learning environment where they can thrive and develop.

Banana Moon Sale has four main rooms: baby floor with two main rooms and direct access to the large garden, Toddler room with separate sleep room. A pre-school floor which also benefits from direct access to the large garden area. Al children also have access to the sensory room and soft play room. These areas of the nursery help to enhance children's learning and allow the nursery to offer a range of exciting activities every day.

A team of dedicated and highly skilled staff members have been carefully selected for their enthusiasm, dedication and skills and collectively have decades of experience in the childcare sector, striving to provide quality care and early education.

All practitioners hold full paediatric first-aid training and the majority of staff are level 3 or above or working towards this.

I am extremely happy with Banana Moon in Sale. I chose them based on their fabulous reviews on this site and I have not been disappointed. My child has been attending since April this year. I have felt confident in returning to work, knowing she is being cared for, engaged and stimulated. The app is
also brilliant in keeping me updated with what she's doing throughout the day and it's always a joy to see the pictures of them involved in various activities and very reassuring. The food is good quality and local suppliers.
The staff truly give all the children so much care and cuddles and personal attention. They listen to feedback from parents and give the children a truly individual experience. I also find the managers to be excellent as well - extremely personal and pleasant and accommodating. I would recommend them to any other parent (and I do!) - especially since speaking to others about their nursery experiences, Banana Moon Sale really is a cut above the rest.

My little girl started here at 9 months old! And I can honestly say I don't think I have ever had a single problem here! She has thrived and learnt so much at this nursery! They keep you updated throughout the day on what your child is up to, with lots of pictures and letting you know what they eat!
They are always learning and doing fun activities, All of the staff are amazing and have always made my child feel special and welcome!
We leave the nursery to start big school in September, we are really going to miss Banana Moon and all the staff! So thank you to Banana Moon for making our Nursery years the best!

We have been extremely happy with Banana Moon in Sale. Our youngest has just fiinished at the nursery with him to start reception in September (and previously, our eldest had attended this nursery). We have found the nursery to very much care about the children, to engage very well with them and to
keep the children interested throughout the day and involved in different activities. I have felt able to get on with my job with having full confidence in the nursery which comes from the experience I have gained, and I feel that it has prepared our children well for starting reception.

My daughter (now 14 months) joined the nursery just over half a year, and both my partner and I could not be happier with her development. The staff are well trained and adapt to her daily habits; they work with us (parents) to establish good routines for her and guide us on unfamiliar topics. The staff
is very caring and develops close relationships with the babies, and provides them with lots of cuddles! We are updated daily on her activities, including photos and detailed descriptions of what she is doing. It is reassuring for us, when we are away for work, that such dedicated people have our baby's best interest at heart and that they are there to comfort her when she needs it. I cannot recommend a better nursery!

They’ve built great bonds with the staff in each room, and both enjoy going in each day.

Banana Moon Day Nursery Sale is my babys favourite place also called as Moon House by my baby. Its a fantastic place. The caring staff creates a nurturing environment where children thrive. My son has been attending Banana Moon Day Nursery Sale since January 2018, and my daughter since November 2021. They are the most wonderful team of staff running a fantastic nursery. Both of my children are extremely happy there, as are we. They always have activities set up for as soon as they are
done with breakfast, and they really keep them engaged through the whole day. We get updates on an app which is so amazing to get when you are away from them.

My daughter has been with the nursery for just over a year. The staff have been fantastic, and it is clear they each develop a relationship with the child and tend to their specific needs. I only have the highest of praise for this nursery. My daughter attended until starting reception and my son is still there. They both love the nursery and have made some good friends and formed strong bonds with the wonderful staff. My daughter still enjoys going in, as the staff make a fuss of her!
Staff have gone above and beyond to ensure my children were happy and always made contact on mornings where drop-offs were tricky, to let me know that they settled, which they always did. The curriculum is fantastic and the activities are very well planned. They have a wide range of resources both indoors and outdoors and the children spend lots of time outside, which my two loved. They often plan activities based around the children’s favourite books. The communication with parents is excellent, particularly the updates on the app which come through over the course of a day, with plenty of photos. I give total credit to the preschool staff for preparing my daughter so well for school.

Fab nursery and would highly recommend. Both my boys have been at Banana Moon Day Nursery, Sale and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. When starting school, my eldest was placed in the top set for phonics, which can only be as a result of the preschool staff, as neither myself nor my husband had any idea
what phonics were. My youngest is currently in toddlers and is thriving after being a covid baby and initially lacking any social awareness. The staff keep us regularly updated and really support the kids.

This is a fantastic nursery which my daughter absolutely loves attending. The friendly and caring staff are dedicated to making sure each day is both educational and entertaining for the children, and I know my daughter is in a safe and loving environment when she attends Banana Moon Day Nursery Sale.
My daughter has developed hugely since starting at this nursery (especially as she started mid-pandemic), and we are extremely grateful for that. The communication and updates from the staff are also excellent, both at collection time and via the interactive mobile app. I look forward to many more happy months and years using this nursery!

Banana Moon Day Nursery Sale are exceptional! The staff are caring, attentive and always put the needs of the children first. Our little girl has a couple of serious allergies and the staff could not have done more to include her. All her meals look the same as the other children's and there are processes
and preventions in place to ensure that she doesn't get her hands on the wrong food. I'm so happy that we chose this nursery for her.

My children have been in Banana Moon for three years, and I have never had any problems. The staff has always been competent, friendly and helpful. My boys adore going and playing with all the equipment and toys, and they have always been entertained with all the activities planned for them. The place
is clean, and the back garden is a safe place for the kids to enjoy playing outside.

I would just like to say how wonderful I have found the nursery over the years. My little girl started when she was around 9 months old and stayed there until she was 4 and my little boy, now 18 months, has been there around 9 months and is extremely enjoying his time there. The team are fantastic and
they are extremely good at catering for the individual needs of each child. Family’s are updated on daily activities and photos of what their children have been up to. I love clicking on whilst at work to see what he has been up to throughout the day. I would highly recommend the staff and nursery to anyone considering it for there child.

I can honestly 100% recommend Banana Moon, Sale. My daughter was only 6 months when lockdown struck, so she hadn't had much opportunity for social interaction with anyone who wasn't her immediate family. The staff at Banana Moon were absolutely lovely and went out of their way to make her transition
into nursery life as smooth as possible. She loves it! She's constantly picking up new words and skills, and seeing the fun that she's having with her little friends on the app each day never fails to brighten up my day. The staff are all fabulous: dedicated and hard-working. I'm so glad that I chose to send my daughter to Banana Moon.

I have nothing but praise for Banana Moon Sale. My daughter attended and loved it and now my son attends, he also loves being there. The staff are great with the kids and parents alike. So many fun activities to do in the day and the food menu is fantastic. During the Covid-19 pandemic, nursery have
been amazing, professional, informative and supportive. They've also been keeping all of our spirits up with Milly & Billy outside, their antics have been great. I recommend Banana Moon Sale every chance I get.

This is an outstanding nursery. My daughter has been attending since September and absolutely loves going. The staff are great with her, as soon as I drop her off she doesn't even give me a second glance and runs off happily without even saying goodbye! She has developed a great bond with the staff
there who are all clearly very well qualified and love their jobs. Communication is great, at pick up time there is always a report on how she has been during the day. Information is also shared daily in her diary via the app, so you get live feedback on what she has been up to, including pictures/what she has eaten/what activities she has participated in/when her nappy has been changed etc. I highly recommend this nursery.

This is a great nursery, the staff are superb and always have strong open communication. My daughter loves it here and she has developed massively since attending Banana Moon.
