What an amazing place to leave your child. What super, caring, motivated and well-trained staff. Thank you. My granddaughter began her journey in September 2018 at the age of three and three months having had no preschool experience. She has been nurtured, loved and gently guided through her next steps
of life skills. By Jan 19 she was ready to progress to nursery and spend mornings with reception children. She wakes up asking if it's school each day! Totally prepped for school in Sept.

A fantastic provision with hard working and dedicated staff who treat every child as an individual. My daughter loved her time there and still talks about the staff and other children. I would happily recommend Barkway Preschool to other parents and already have on many occasions!

This is a fantastic little village preschool. The team are amazing. My daughter had just turned 2 years old when she started and was painfully shy. Her first day at preschool was the first time she'd been away from me and I wasn't convinced that she'd settle. The staff were fantastic - not only did
they know exactly how to help my daughter make the transition but they also knew just how to reassure me. I left her on day one after about half an hour (something I never thought I'd do) and we never looked back. My daughter has loved her time at Barkway Preschool and it has prepared her perfectly for her nursery year at Barley - she's gained an incredible amount of confidence and developed her social skills at a rate she could never have achieved with me at home. For us, the benefit of a small setting and good staff:child ratio was paramount and we had that at Barkway. I will be sending my youngest as soon as she's old enough to go!
