Boat House Day Nursery

My son has been attending this nursery since 2025 when he first started he would get really upset when I left but the staff went above and beyond to help settle his anxieties he has thrived so much he's a happy chatty little boy and gained so much confidence he's now moved up a room and he did it confidently he loves the staff and his class friends he's always excited to tell me how his day has been all the staff are amazing go above and beyond for the children I highly recommend this nursery you are definitely leaving your children in safe happy clean environment if they had a follow on primary school he'd definitely be attending

Myself & Wife can't fault this nursery. Our boy has been going now for coming up to a year. We were very nervous about leaving him at first but that soon went away when we walked through the doors and seen first hand how amazing all the girls are with him. He's come on massively with the babies and waddlers. All the staff go above and beyond for all the children and are all super lovely! Going to nursery is our boys favourite thing to do, to the point he cry's when he has to come home because he doesn't want to leave. We're so glad we picked the Boat house and already know when we have our second child where we will be sending them. Thank you so so much!xx

I currently have 2 children attending the Boat House Day Nursery, my son started nursery when he was 5 months old and my little girl also has attended since 6 months old. Both my children's confidence has grown significantly over the last year and their progress with their development has been amazing! The staff have been so supportive from greeting my children in the morning, supporting with separation and always ensuring their needs are put first. The staff work alongside parents very well, we have been to many workshops where we have been able to spend time with our children in the nursery completing activities and chatting with the staff. Both my little boy and girl had dietary needs which the nursery have accommodated excellently and all the staff have been amazing ensuring our children's dietary needs are met and they have been provided with alternatives.

Both of my sons have attended this nursery my youngest started November 2024. We've recently increased his days as we as parents think it's doing him the world of good being in the right environment looked after by the amazing staff members. The app they use give us constant updates on day to day activities.

My little boy loves Boat House Day Nursery, his speech and development has come along massively since starting. He's more sociable and really enjoys his time there. The nursery nurses are amazing too, they all greet him by name when we arrive, which I think it's really nice as it's such a personal touch. I'd recommend Boat House to anybody.

The nursery is amazing and so are all the staff. My child has come on so much in the last 12 months and that is because of the amazing staff. They give every child a warm welcome in the morning and has a really positive start to everyday with the goodbye just as good.

My daughter has recently joined this nursery and she has settled in so quickly. My mind has been put at ease as she is only six months. They have helped to start weaning her and she comes out so happy. The girls are happy to answer any questions I have, they give me a detailed overview of her day and are all lovely and welcoming.

What a great nursery and the staff are amazing! My son was very wary, at first, when he started as he's only used to me but the staff have made him feel so happy and loved. Thank you and keep up the great work.

Very proactive team, considering the busy environment. Always wanting to develop children's skills and build really good individual bonds with the children. Very clear to see the enjoyment they have for their jobs.

Fantastic nursery that has helped progress our children on in so many areas and develop their characters. Staff in the rooms and in the office and management have great proactive communication. Most importantly, the children love their time there and I feel reassured that they are being well looked after and engaged while having fun. Would highly recommend Boat House Day Nursery to any parent as a great starting point for their child's foundation blocks into learning and character building.

I would however like to have more of an update overall on the app but overall, it's a great nursery.

Amazing nursery, my son is non-verbal and has additional struggles. Staff here are so lovely and welcoming. My child confidently walks to his room and walks away from me to play. He is so settled and has been since his first week in nursery. He adjusted so well from being home with me full-time to nursery full-time all because of the amazing, loving and caring staff.

The Boat House Day Nursery was an amazing experience for my daughter. She had attended the nursery for two and a half years, give or take. The progress she made in that time was incredible. All the staff and key workers that had worked with her were impeccable, very attentive and cared so much for her. We couldn't fault one member of staff, from the girls in management to the girls in the rooms. The Boat House will be massively missed by her and we look forward to being back there soon with our youngest daughter. Would definitely recommend!

My son has been going here for two years and is now entering the last month or so before school in September. I'll always remember having two nursery applications in front of me and my eyes were glued and all for Boat House Day Nursery. All I've got to say is absolutely fantastic. I will always remember we always used to have trouble to start with getting our son to settle into nursery however the Boat House facilitated my son's needs and helped him settle and since then he looks forward to going. He has his good and bad days however the nursery is very caring and looks after his needs perfectly and always looks forward to a cuddle from his key worker who has been with him since day one in toddlers up to preschool 2. The nursery has also helped with regular meetings and got an EHCP (education, health and care plan) in place ready for my son's big step which I can't thank everyone involved enough for getting my son what he needs to help him through the next step of his journey. Honestly, if we could keep him here we would. Highly recommended.

My son started at The Boat House over 2 years ago and I cannot fault my experience with them. They always go above and beyond to help my son who has additional needs, very accommodating, informative, understanding, and supportive. My son has progressed amazingly due to the staff's help and support and he has gained so much confidence within the staff and also within himself. The guidance and help I have also received from staff for extra support for my son has been great and I cannot thank them enough.

I cannot thank them enough for what they have done for both children and will be sad when the youngest moves on.

I have been connected to Boat House Day Nursery since 2017 and still going on. My kids are always happy with them and I have also felt my kids learning and visible progress with their support. I have never had any worries at all. They are the best ones I have ever seen, they are all-rounders in every department; whether it’s kids learning, care, nutrition, activities, facilities, safety and security, cleanliness and especially staff interaction and their concern towards children and parents. This shows that they are fully professional and dedicated towards their responsibilities. I wish them all the very best forever and want to see them shining and growing forever.

My son has been attending Boat House for just over a year now and it's like a second home to him. He loves all the staff and always has the best day, coming home with new skills and great stories about the fun he has had. There are a lot of things I appreciate about this nursery; The staff have always been so helpful and accommodating, from helping him with a medical emergency last year to helping him with potty training this year and everything in between. They are flexible to our care requirements, with great communication and attention to detail. The food has always impressed me, varied and nutritional meals and lots of different flavours. The days are structured well but still give the children lots of independence and freedom to be creative. It feels very Montessori-based and sometimes I am amazed at the things my son picks up so quickly. Finally, it's a nice location and a good size with lots of outdoor play and the indoor sensory room and soft play are also great. No complaints!
