Junior’s Day Nursery opened its doors in Tonbridge in June 2015. Adjacent to Tonbridge Train station it is the ideal location for commuting parents as well as local families looking for full day care for their children.

The nursery cares for children from 3 months to 5 years and is open from 7.30am until 6.30pm Monday to Friday 51 weeks of the year.
Junior’s is a family run business with an experienced management team and fantastic staff in place and has built on the success of its first nursery based in Cranbrook, which opened in 2008 and has recently been judged ‘Outstanding’ from Ofsted.

Junior’s Tonbridge offers 3 spacious stimulating rooms for Teenies, Toddlers and Pre-school children with the addition of a unique indoor/outdoor space that can’t be missed. At Junior’s, every child is an individual, educational value is paramount, fun is in abundance, and above all, a friendly, safe and caring environment awaits you. Their ethos is to be the ‘nursery of choice’ in the area.

In April 2025, Juniors Day Nursery was acquired by Happy Days Nurseries & Pre-Schools—an exciting development that strengthens their shared commitment to delivering high-quality early years education.

Staff are generally superb, my son has been in the nursery for the past 15 months and is very happy. He is thriving and is very happy and keen to go in. When you get the inevitable odd concern it is swiftly dealt with and communication is great. He is always doing different things and enjoys the
home-cooked meals.

My son has been at Juniors since Nov 2018, I am extremely happy with them. His key worker is absolutely amazing. I have found the transition back to work extremely tough, but knowing that he is in such great hands has made it bearable. They do such fantastic things with the little ones, painting, cooking,
messy play, walks in the castle grounds. Really I feel so grateful to have them. I am always impressed to see them cleaning the room from top to bottom when any child has a bug. Advice: get your name down at the bump stage! That's how we got a place.

This has been a fantastic nursery for our daughter who has been attending since she was 9 months old. Her key worker is excellent and my daughter goes to her with open arms in the morning. The communication is outstanding, the weekly reports are very informative and I have received nothing but outstanding
care for my daughter. I would highly recommend this nursery, it is very hard leaving my daughter and the fact that she settles immediately and is so happy here makes it that little bit easier.

Fabulous warm and welcoming nursery, who have been brilliant with our son. Very nurturing care and good carer/parent feedback and communication. We've been very impressed with the range of diversity and the activities on offer for the children. Our son has a great relationship with his carers and genuinely
looks forward to his days at nursery.

My 18 month old daughter has been going to Junior's 2 days a week since she was 11 months. She settled in really quickly and this was mainly due to the staff. The setting is wonderful with so many different activities, my daughter loves going and is always eager to go in the morning. Her development
has also come on and this is mainly down to her key workers encouragement. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

My daughter is thoroughly enjoying attending Junior's. Her development, especially her speech has come on in leaps and bounds. The staff are all excellent, always provide proper handover each day and take and active interest in my daughter's activities outside nursery to include in her planning at nursery
so it feels like we are working together for both her development and well-being.
The nursery provides a wide range of activities that my daughter loves - music and movement and baking are particular favourites. She really loves her books and her carer patiently reads many with her.

The staff at Junior's are very caring, professional and refreshingly full of energy. They appear to be very attentive to each childs needs and take the time to build a rapport with the children and the parents. Daily activities are based around learning, but made to feel like fun! It's great to get
photographs and daily feedback about the childrens day. Food choices are healthy, balanced and varied, and staff give us detailed reports. The semi covered outside space is fun and well provisioned with interesting activities. We are very happy with the nursery, and thoroughly recommend it!

Our daughter started at Juniors 6 weeks ago and we are delighted by the quality of care that all the staff give her. The baby room is bright and airy, and well organised. It is a lot more peaceful than previous nurseries so our daughter gets a chance to rest during the day.

The staff are very thorough

and attentive, and successfully stimulate the children with great activities and games. There is excellent communication and management is very dedicated. They also occasionally organise sessions where the parents can sign and sing, which is great as we can then practice with them at home.

Junior's is a lovely nursery, the team are really warm and friendly and the children are really happy. The team work hard to make sure the children settle in well, my son loves it there. It's great seeing the other staff from different rooms all make an effort from day 1, so he will easily move to the
next room when he is ready.

My daughter joined Juniors when it first opened in Summer last year. Since her first day we have never regretted our decision to move her to Junior. The facilities are so well thought out. With the children's play, learning, sleeping and safe guarding all taken into account. The food is excellent no
sugary snacks/desserts a very healthy balanced menu. Finally the staff are amazing! my daughter loves going and clearly benefits from their expertise and care. Staff clearly know her well and we receive regular feedback highly recommend it.
