Small World Day Nursery and Pre-School Ltd

Our daughter is absolutely thriving at Small World and loves going. The team are fantastic and always take excellent care of her. They do really fun activities with the children, inside and outside. The regular updates and photos are brilliant, we are constantly updated, so we can see her playing with her friends and the staff. It is great to see what she has been up to! The staff are very welcoming and we have never had any issues. It will be very sad when she leaves, as she will be our third child to have attended this nursery!

Our daughter has been at Small World since Sep 2021 and absolutely loves it! She has been cared for so lovingly by all the staff, including the owners, and it’s such a wonderful environment. She has formed strong bonds and made great friends and we get regularly updated on what she gets up to. I feel so relieved and glad that I can leave my daughter with such a fabulous nursery. Sending my son there in July without a doubt and looking forward to seeing how well he progresses there also. We feel very lucky to have this nursery on our doorstep and would wholeheartedly recommend it.

This is an amazing nursery/preschool provision. The owners and staff are kind, considerate and very knowledgeable about their jobs. My child has loved her time at nursery and is so happy every day going into their preschool. We have both been supported by the staff and it is so reassuring knowing that every aspect of your child’s care is being provided to such a high standard. I could not recommend this nursery enough. Thank you to all the staff.

Can’t say enough good things about this nursery. My older child attended a couple of years ago and now my younger child is there. The staff are incredible, and make sure the kids days are packed with varied, fun activities. The owners are always on hand for a chat and the staff are great at communicating with parents. The staff know each child really well and deliver care in a way that suits each child’s specific needs/interests. Can’t recommend small world enough!

Small World is a fantastic setting that fully supports my daughter's development. She always has lots of fun and really enjoys her days there with the other children and staff. The staff are always thinking of different activities to support all the children’s development, meet their individual needs and ensure they have lots of fun through play. Managers and staff are very friendly and supportive and you are given regular updates on your child’s days through their app. Small World is a wonderful nursery with an amazing team that I couldn’t recommend enough!

I could not wish for a better nursery for my daughter! The staff are incredible and I'm constantly amazed by all the wonderful activities they do with them and the different subjects they teach them about each and every week. My daughter absolutely loves it here and it’s an absolute credit to the fantastic work they do.

We've got our third baby going through this nursery now and I can't imagine having had a better experience. Their consistency in delivering a nurturing, safe and loving environment has been solid over the 6 years we have trusted them with our children. They have all thrived and it makes me sad to think of the day we don't have them as part of our daily routine. Their expertise, support and provision has been invaluable and I can't rate them enough.

Our daughter has been at Small World for two and a half years now since she was 1 and she couldn’t be happier. Skips inside when I drop her off and comes home smiling every day. Fantastic team from top to bottom who constantly keep you informed of her daily antics and learning journey along the way through their app. Great learning structure with focused attention to details. Honestly couldn’t fault them. I think it’s going to be a teary day the day she leaves for school. Thanks so much.

My son has settled in so well into nursery and he is always so happy when I collect him. He has come on a lot since starting nursery, and this is down to the hard work of the staff. I love how small the nursery is; I know all of the staff who work there and have developed good, professional relationships with those who look after my son daily in the baby room. Every day during pick up and drop off there is an opportunity to talk to the staff about my son and we often have conversations about his development, what we can do at home and at nursery to support this. I like that you can go into the nursery and see the setting, it has a real family feel to it. Staff are inquisitive about my wants and needs for my son; they want him to feel at home in nursery. I cannot thank staff enough and would recommend the nursery to everyone!

My 2-year-old son absolutely loves attending Small World and can't wait to go and see his friends each day (including the staff!). The staff are absolutely fantastic and go above and beyond for the children. There are new activities to keep the children occupied, entertained and challenged every day in a fun, safe and caring environment. When the weather allows it, the children are encouraged to continue their play and learning outdoors which my little boy loves!

Excellent experience with this nursery. My son is very happy there, and that is due to the staff. They are so caring, friendly and encouraging to him; they really support his development and ensure he is happy and thriving.

Our 2-year-old girl has been attending Small World for 2-3 days a week since she was ten months old. Initially, like lots of parents, we were a bit anxious about how she would settle in. From the very beginning, the owners and wider team of staff have been nothing short of amazing, making both her and us feel so welcome and at ease in their lovely little community. My little girl simply loves it. Her key worker has been incredible, and one of the many wonderful things about this nursery is that every other member of staff also knows our daughter so well. Not only do I feel at ease after leaving her there in the morning, I actually feel like I'm doing her a favour! We could not recommend it enough to anyone looking for somewhere safe, caring and fun for their child.

As first-time parents, we were very anxious about sending our little boy to nursery full-time, but we honestly couldn't have chosen a better place for him to be! The staff are always warm and welcoming, and the care that he receives is outstanding. We receive daily updates about his progress (which has been amazing since joining Small World!), and he just adores his time there. We absolutely love that the nursery teaches - alongside language! Our son has picked this up so quickly, and we have been amazed at his communication skills. We are truly grateful to all of the amazing staff for settling our son so well and are looking forward to watching him flourish even further under their care. We have the greatest peace of mind knowing that he is safe and happy, and we really couldn't wish for anything more!

The app is a brilliant way to communicate, and we get many lovely updates.

I get regular updates from my daughters' key worker on the steps she is making and how they are tailoring their age-appropriate activities. I trust the staff here entirely, and more importantly, my little girl loves them all! She runs in and sometimes wants to stay longer when I go to pick her up! I will definitely be sending my newborn here and would recommend it to anyone.

Amazing team. We have a boy that's been going since he was one, and as first-time parents, we were very nervous about it. The team were amazing in helping him and us settle in. Can't thank them enough - truly set our minds to rest, and he's coming along excellent running in when we drop him off. And love the updates throughout the day.

I cannot speak highly enough of Small World. My daughter was struggling with talking in front of adults, and I suspected selective mutism. The depths the SENCO went to in order to support my daughter and implement strategies were above and beyond. Her key worker spoke with me daily, and now my daughter is talking freely and gaining more and more confidence every day. This, I believe, is definitely down to the support received from all at Small World. They are simply wonderful!

Small World is a stimulating and caring nursery setting. All of the staff are experienced and provide a warm and welcoming environment for the children. It is a very happy nursery, and I would highly recommend it.

My son started at Small World soon after he turned two, going into toddlers. He's now in the preschool room and learning more and more every day. I can't say enough good things about this nursery; the staff are kind, caring and always upbeat. They keep me up to date with how my son is doing and the progress he's making, and he always leaves with a smile on his face. He's made some good friends at Small World, and we're really going to miss it when he has to go to big school!

My daughter has just started her new adventure in reception after having the best start possible at Small World. The amazing staff had made sure she was school ready with the skills needed to start school, but most importantly, doing so whilst ensuring she felt safe, loved and happy! Both my children have attended here since they were just under 1 year old, and we've always been so happy with the care they've received! Thanks to all the team who filled us with the confidence to drop off our precious little ones each day, knowing they were in the best hands!
