Bright Horizons Oak Lane Day Nursery and Preschool

We have had a great experience with the nursery. Our child has developed well and always smiles when we pick her up. She feels safe and happy at Oak Lane and goes for goodbye cuddles without hesitation. Our daughters have been at Oak Lane for over 5 years now and no matter the group have had a wonderful time and thrived in the environment. Staff are highly caring and also set great sets of activities for children to develop their skills, challenge them and have lots of fun. I also like that every group has their dedicated outdoor space and they spend a lot of time in the garden.

We currently have our youngest child in Oak Lane and we previously had our son in the same nursery. Lovely staff, great facilities and excellent food. Looked at all the nurseries in the area and this was the best by far. Long opening hours and close to the national rail.

We look forward to bringing his brother full time for him to learn a lot here too!

We have been really impressed by the level of individualised support that our son has received over the last year. He has additional needs and the staff has been brilliant at supporting him, nurturing him and stretching him, liaising with the different therapists following him as appropriate. We highly recommend this nursery.

Our son had spent time at a previous Bright Horizons which we and he loved, so we were unsure how he would deal with the change. We needn't have worried. Oak Lane immediately made him welcome and as the months have gone by we've become more and more impressed with their offering. The carers and room leaders are engaged, interested and kind and we trust them and feel listened to 100%. The activities they organise are fabulous. We see our son growing in knowledge and confidence and feel we made a great choice in sending him there.

I would recommend this nursery to others and feel both my children had a good experience here with excellent care and attention.

Our two girls love Oak Lane. The staff are caring and fun. We really like that each room has its own outdoor space, and the children can go in and out as they choose.

The food is also really good and I'm always impressed to hear about the variety of dishes she eats at nursery!

Both my son and my daughter have attended Oak Lane nursery from the age of one to four, and both absolutely loved their time there. The staff there are so brilliant, friendly and professional and give top-notch care to all the kids. I think it is a fantastic nursery run by dedicated and highly experienced nursery managers. We are so glad we found such a great nursery in our neighbourhood and will be so sad when our daughter leaves to start school!

It was extremely hard for us to chose a nursery in the Twickenham area because there are many, but Oak Lane chose us and we have been grateful every day. We wanted a safe environment where our son could learn resilience and healthy loving boundaries, in fairness, where his voice would be listened to, where his choices would be respected, where he could develop new friendships and become. We are happy to have found such a place, and we feel that all the amazing people working at Oak Lane are making this possible every day by working hard and genuinely caring for the little people they welcome every day with a huge smile upon their faces. Fabulous nursery with exceptional staff. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone. The staff make the utmost effort to connect to every single child and do awesome little activities, even with the babies. My daughter loves coming here.

The staff are fabulous at the nursery. My little one loves his friends and loves his nursery teachers. Every day he’s learnt something new or has a lovely story to tell about what he’s been up to. He smiles on his way in and out!

Our daughter has been in Oak Lane now for 2-1/2 years and we could not be happier. I wanted to thank and acknowledge the manager and her team in particular for how they have communicated with us clearly and regularly during this very tough period of Covid-19 outbreak. The teachers there at every level (acorns, oaks and pre-school have all captured the heart of our daughter - shes runs in every morning to see them and her friends and we already miss them all very much even though it's only been 2 weeks since she has not been able to go.

He loves it so much at nursery that I struggle to get him to put his coat on and leave at the end of the day!

The activities were varied and centred around the child’s needs and interests.

The manager and deputy do a great job with the nursery management. I appreciate the fun/innovative activities, concerts and open days they coordinate. On occasion, when I've needed to discuss changes to my daughter's care, they've listened, acted and followed up on my concerns quickly and diligently. As a result, I feel very confident my daughter is in good hands, and that her welfare and development is always top priority.

The facilities are great and she loves the fun activities staff run - Active Athletes, Hatching the Chickens Eggs, Spanish Teacher and Bee Keeper visit.
