My little one is thriving and I have no doubt that she will continue to do with the help of the nursery and their staff.
This is a great nursery with lovely staff. They all seem to really love working with children and my son has progressed really well since joining.
Overall I am really happy with the service at this nursery, the staff are always really lovely and my son has bonded with many of them. He is always happy to attend and it has been apparent that the nursery has been instrumental in his learning and development journey. I would recommend any parents looking for a nursery to try Rogers Burrow.
We have 2 children; 3.5 yr old girl and a 21mth old boy. Both started nursery at 5mths of age. Leaving your baby is probably one of the most gut-wrenching experiences of early parenthood. On the first day, I cried. The manager took me into the office so that I could see on the CCTV that my daughter was already over my departure and enjoying being cooed over by the staff and older babies.
In last the 3 years Roger Burrows has consistently provided exceptional care to our family. They have worked with us to support our children through a host of personal circumstances: Daddy deploying for extended periods of time with limited communication, Mummy being poorly in hospital, the arrival of baby#2, moving house, etc. The nursery has worked with us in supporting the children through them all. Not to mention the weaning, potty training and fussy eating phases! Our children are both happy, confident and outgoing which I credit, in no small part, to Roger Burrows nursery.
My son is really happy at Rogers Burrow on the base. He’s progressed so much since September last year. With their help he will be ready to start school soon. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
The only downside is it’s near impossible getting people onto the base for events who don’t already have a family pass.
Lovely little nursery and well suited for naval families.
Very friendly staff and they are always working towards having a great rapport with the children. Very convenient location and hours for people who work in the base. Both my children have attended the nursery and they love the place.
The staff are always friendly and the feedback at the end of the day is really helpful. The new garden facilities are lovely and they are always involved in messy and sensory play activities. The home cooked meals are one of the outstanding features of this nursery, leaving me confident that my child is well fed through the day.
My daughter started this nursery when this November she was 17 months old and has already come on leaps and bounds with her words. She enjoys coming to nursery as she has made great bonds with the staff and other children.
The range of activities she does on a daily basis is great and the food is varied and healthy. As a working parent, it is so reassuring to know my daughter has the best of care at nursery with staff who are caring and attentive. I highly recommend this nursery!!
Staff are very caring and genuinely care about the progress and development of the children. Always pleasant when answering calls no matter how big or small the enquiry is. Overall, very happy with Roger Burrows love how small and personal it is.
Always plenty of fun activities happening with themed days once a month and food tasting which helps encourage them to try new things.
Staff are all very helpful and seem to really enjoy their job. Would highly recommend.
My son loves coming to this nursery, they have great activities and themed days and all the staff are so friendly and welcoming.
My son loves going to this nursery. They always do lots of fun activities I could never do at home. The staff are so friendly and helpful and obviously work very hard.
My God Daughter has been attending Rogers Burrow for just under a year now and has gained so much confidence in herself. She is currently in the baby room, which I know the staff do individual planning to meet her needs. They have an online system which the staff send photos and other information through to her mum and which I am then able to view which is lovely.
I started my daughter at nursery in February. When walking into nursery, all of the staff are welcoming and happy. They immediately engaged with my little girl, asking about her night or what we have been up to. They listen to any concerns I have with her development. We had settling in sessions and the staff made us both feel welcome. We sat down together and went through my daughter's routine as she was 8 months old. They ensured they had all of the information ready for her to start her three days a week at nursery. From the first day, they made her feel so welcome and made me feel at ease with leaving her. I was a bit apprehensive due to being a single mum and her only spending time with me. They built up the relationship needed for my clingy little girl. Now, my daughter loves attending nursery and has developed so much. They have helped her to learn to walk and she is beginning to learn new words and enjoys the freshly cooked meals they prepare on site.
Since my daughter began at nursery in February 2016 at 8 months old. She has grown and developed so much. Being a single mother I felt quite anxious to leave her at nursery for me to return to work. But the staff made her feel so welcome and took their time helping her adjust to the nursery feel.
The staff are helpful with different situations, as when my daughter started she was quite fussy, but now with perseverance she will eat almost anything they cook. She enjoys the cook foods they provide and loves the baby room that she can roam around and explore. I can't thank Roger's Burrow enough for everything they have done so far and will continue to do as my little girls gets older.
My son started at Roger Burrows when he was 18 months old. He is now almost 3 and in the last 18 months his attendance at nursery has helped him flourish into an intelligent, caring little boy with limitless energy and lots of friends. The staff at Roger Burrows exude warmth and care whilst remaining professional. The menu each day is varied and nutritious and obviously tasty as my fussy eater comes away having eaten everything provided. The activities he does on a daily basis he enjoys and he always looks forward to his nursery days. His baby sister is due to join him in the new year. I trust them implicitly with my children and therefore would highly recommend Roger Burrows to everyone.
