Pixieland Day Nursery - HMS Drake

The staff are incredible, they are completely child-focused and always look for ways to encourage and support the children. The facilities encourage learning and development and they all benefit greatly from the upgraded outside play space. Would highly recommend to all.

My child has come on leaps and bounds since joining the nursery, its like a home from home. Every staff member takes the time to know my child and support her in the best way. She always comes home happy and loves going into nursery. She has never cried from day one. The garden is fantastic such a lovely space for all the children to access. I would highly recommend this nursery to everyone.

Staff are amazing, super friendly and communication is great. Facilities are great for the kids. Great value for money, secure premises and I feel at ease dropping my child off knowing that she is well looked after and happy.

I have had dealings with the nursery for 7 years now (with 2 children). Both of my children have had fabulous experiences and my son’s transition to school was seamless due to the confidence he had gained from Rogers Burrow. My daughter is currently in the toddlers room after yet another seamless transition from the baby room. Both kids loved going especially to the party and dress-up days. We can not thank the nursery enough for their help and support and we have recommended the nursery to both friends and family as a result.

My little boy started in the baby room in July 2020, and I can't thank the staff enough for what they have done for my little boy, he has grown in confidence. They support every child and have different fun activities planned for each day which also helps them learn. They also give you feedback at the end of the day, and also send out daily diaries with what your child has eaten and what they have done during the day. They send out pictures to you of what your child has been doing.

The morning excitement of arriving at nursery and running into the fun without so much as a backwards glance says it all to me.

Fantastic nursery - care for both our children and I cannot express how much they put time and effort in to ensure the needs of our children are met. Communicate well with us, and both my children absolutely love going in.

Both my children have attended Rogers Burrow nursery, and I would highly recommend them, especially in the earlier age groups. The babies room and toddlers were so attentive with my children and celebrated every milestone with them. I know my youngest is in the safest hands there, and they delight in watching her grow and develop. The garden makeover has made a huge difference to the nursery and is a wonderful place for them to play outside safely in the summer.

Extremely happy with the nursery who have taught both of my daughters. The eldest is in school now and is excelling due to their teaching in the early years.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for only a couple of months and she loves it, always comes out happy, laughing and confident. The staff are very welcoming and understand how hard it is when leaving your baby for such a long day. You get a report of how your child’s day has been, i.e. eating, fluids, toilet checks etc. I would recommend to anyone or close friends.

I am happy with this nursery and the staff and managers. Lots of varied days.

Our daughter has been attending the nursery for 4 months now and has settled in very well. The nursery offers settling sessions which are a great way for the parent and child to get to know the staff and nursery.

I feel our daughter is flourishing from being in a caring and stimulating environment and I’m always amazed how much they can fit into one day! The staff truly care about the children and no matter who answers the door, all the staff know our daughter by name.

Our daughter has a food allergy and this has never been an issue and she has always been provided with a healthy and varied diet.

My daughter has been attending RB now for over 2 years and she is thriving. They do so much throughout the day and due to its small size she mixes with all the different ages of children and still sees familiar faces even though moving up in classes. I look forward to sending my son there in the next few months.

We feel privileged to have such amazing staff looking after our son.

We would love it if the children could be more outside, and we would love it if they could wear different shoes inside and outside.

This is a lovely little nursery, my daughter loves going in to see all the staff and the children she’s made a lovely bond with. She’s made lots of progress with her speaking and counting since going to this nursery. Would highly recommend.

My son has been attending 2 years now, such a friendly nursery, great staff and he absolutely loves going. Highly recommend, it's a small intimate nursery with lovely facilities. I wouldn't hesitate recommending to anyone.

My son has attended this nursery from 11 months until he leaves for school this summer. He loves going and is always very chatty about his day on the way home. The staff know the children well and were very accommodating for his milk allergy. I'm always contented that he eats well there. The activities the staff put on for the children are great they always have something on the go. Now he is a preschooler, having the classroom is great for getting them ready for school. The outside space the children love and they even make use of the play courts. I've been to a few nurseries with my other son, and I really couldn't recommend this one enough. The staff's efforts are fab.
