Playhouse Nursery & Pre-School

I like this nursery and especially how staff looks after kids. My son joined at young age and he has been looked after very well. He learned to eat good food and interact with people. No sugar policy and healthy eating habits from nursery are great. Looking forward to online journal this year. Offering parents with training on various aspects of child's development is wonderful too.

The management team have always been efficient and very helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Playhouse Community Nursery to parents and children because both my kids are in good hands there.

Amazing home cooked food.

Our 4-year-old son has been attending since he was 10 months old and our 1 year old is also now at the nursery. Considering the choices in our neighbourhood we feel that our children are getting about the best care they possibly could. Most of all we are very happy with the staff.

Playhouse Community Nursery is a fun, happy environment for our daughter. She enjoys herself and has made terrific friends. There is a good balance of playtime and learning, and activities span a wide range. Our daughter engages with arts, reading, nature, singing, moving, cooking, and so much more. The hours are very helpful for working parents, and the Nursery Manager is a wonderful support. Location is convenient to public transport and is in the middle of Fordham Park, which makes for a great walk home together in the evening. We have been very happy to send our daughter to Playhouse these past 19 months.

The Playhouse is a pleasant, caring and supportive nursery where staff are excellent. They are very attentive to the need of my sons, encourage their learning and cultivate their confidence. The staff are always willing to discuss and help with specific issues and management is approachable and helpful. The food is cooked with love and is very tasty. Just an excellent nursery!

My son has been attending Playhouse nursery from January 2018, he is in the baby room and he really loves it there especially cuddling key workers. I love the 'Friday 5' newsletter we receive on a weekly basis as I'm able to see some of the activities they enjoy throughout the week. I'm very pleased Playhouse nursery overall.

Playhouse Nursery is a great environment for children, my son was there for 4 years before starting school and my daughter has also been attending for almost 3 years.

The staff are amazing at engaging the kids and giving them a broad range of experiences.

The kids are encouraged to learn through play and preschoolers are prepared for school. This helped my son settle well into reception and subsequently advanced rapidly in his learning.

The staff and management team are supportive, allowing flexibility in multiple issues.

The food are freshly prepared daily by the in-house chef; parents are often given opportunities to taste new recipes and have lunch with the kids.

The nursery offers many extracurricular activities that parents can engage in with their kids.

I will highly recommend Playhouse nursery for babies to preschoolers, as I have had excellent service over the years in all classes.

Our toddler skips into nursery every morning, skips out happily in the evening, and asks if she’s seeing her Nursery friends, even on weekends. Very happy with the Nursery.

This nursery has been so supportive and accommodating to both me and my child’s needs. They’re very patient. The staff are just great! I’ve yet to meet one member who wasn’t extremely friendly and helpful. The manager at this nursery is amazing! I’ve already recommended to several parents in the area looking for a nursery. Also, I’m always surprised at the lovely dishes the children will be eating each week!

Playhouse Nursery is a warm, friendly, caring nursery. It has outdoor areas bespoke to each room. Delicious organic healthy meals with its daily menus written on a chalkboard in the foyer every morning like a cafe! Staff are friendly and supportive, always take extra attention whenever I was worried about anything. The activities are creative, explorative and promote structured independent learning. They have lots of events that invite parents to come and join in including workshops. Out of all the nurseries I looked at in my area it was the most affordable too which is so important when childcare is so expensive. My only feedback was wanting to know more about what progression my son was doing and seeing reports more regularly. However, they listened and this year they're introducing a digital report portal which can be accessed by parents which is great!

All the staff is wonderful and caring. We know our baby is in good hands, learning and taking part in amazing activities. She is also loving her meals and is also happy to start a new day. Thank you to everyone!

Playhouse has been a wonderful experience for our three year old. He has complex medical needs and staff have bent over backwards to accommodate him and ensure he has a happy and safe learning experience. He loves going every day and seeing his friends and his development over the past year has been incredible.

I am very happy with Playhouse and most importantly, so is my child.

Staff are friendly and attentive and keep parents well informed of the children’s progress. Parents are also invited to regular workshops and activities run by the Nursery.

My son has been attending Playhouse since he was 6 months old. He is now 3 and a half and will remain at Playhouse until he starts Primary School. As a first time mum, it was extremely daunting leaving him for the first time, but the staff were so reassuring and the care he receives is amazing. Throughout all of his years, they have been nurturing and supportive and he has developed so well. It's his home from home and I can't recommend this nursery enough.
