Kids Planet Horsforth is a family owned private nursery that gives children the best start to life by giving them the confidence to play and learn about the world around them. Children are nurtured and encouraged as they discover their own unique personality and take part in a wide variety of activities to boost their imagination and social skills.

The nursery takes the safety of children very seriously and has complex security systems including CCTV monitoring and door entry intercom devices.

The nursery has age appropriate rooms, designed and furnished with resources and furniture to assist child carers covering the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

My experience of Kinder Haven in Horsforth has been excellent - My daughter has settled in so well due to the staff. My daughter loves it at nursery and I am always kept up to date about what she's done throughout the day. I feel like the staff genuinely care about my daughter and feel so pleased about
my choice in nursery. When I come to nursery I'm always surprised how calm and friendly the staff are. I would happily recommend.

I couldn't recommend this nursery more. My son loves going each day. The staff are wonderful and develop a great bond with the kids. The facilities are some of the best I have seen and I love how clean it is kept.

I love this nursery. My daughter was so emotional when we first started and they have helped her develop so much. She really enjoys coming here and I now can't stop her from running each morning, all smiles and no crying.

My little boy has attended Kinder Haven 2 days a week for 8 months.
The building is bright and cheerful and all the toys are in good condition. We have never had a problem.
Staff care, they take the time to get to know the children and they were very patient with my son when he was settling in.

During the last 6 weeks, I have been very happy with how my son is settling into the nursery for his 2 days a week.
The staff have been flexible with his routine, giving him milk before or after lunch and doing whatever works for him, to feed/settle or sleep and still offer more food when more settled.
I have called each day and get good feedback which I believed is honest whether he is upset or not.
I like my son having a specific keyworker, as this seems to settle him more and as she is getting to know him more he seems to respond to her.
Only annoyance is missing items, sometimes from his bag and then I have to collect them the next day. I'm sure this will settle down as they get used to his items. Also, I can't always read the writing on feedback forms and they could do with a more secure area for prams/car seats.

The Nursery have been great settling my son into their environment. He carries out the routine set at nursery at home as it suits him so well.
His language and skills are developing very quickly and this is in a big way due to the activities at the nursery.
