Kids Planet Horsforth is a family owned private nursery that gives children the best start to life by giving them the confidence to play and learn about the world around them. Children are nurtured and encouraged as they discover their own unique personality and take part in a wide variety of activities to boost their imagination and social skills.

The nursery takes the safety of children very seriously and has complex security systems including CCTV monitoring and door entry intercom devices.

The nursery has age appropriate rooms, designed and furnished with resources and furniture to assist child carers covering the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Kinder Haven are both flexible and punctual. They always greet us professionally and with a smile. Our daughter (2 years of age) always enjoys her time.

As a mum of one who has never dealt with childcare/nursery situations before, I have been made to feel confident in leaving my child with "strangers" for the first time.
The staff have done everything possible to welcome her into a new environment, keep her active and stimulated and the great facilities
give her plenty to explore each day.


She absolutely loves the outdoor area and creative table which is available each day. I am hugely impressed with her meal choices and snacks given. I know every day she is learning and grown and having a lovely time :)

Really enjoy bringing my little boy to this nursery. He loves seeing everyone when he comes. He has a fab key worker and is always happy to see her. The nursery is always spotless and they have the best toys for him to play with. The toys are very high quality and always in perfect condition.

My granddaughter attends one full day every week. She loves coming. We get a full account of her day, what she has learnt and what she has enjoyed. She is always occupied when I arrive and always looks happy. We are extremely happy with the care she receives.

Kinder Haven have been absolutely fabulous since my little boy started last September. I was nervous about him starting but immediately he settled in exceptionally well! The staff have been incredible they are supportive, friendly and look after him so well. He loves coming here and is coming on leaps
and bounds. Brilliant in every way !! :)

Staff pleasant and very helpful. On my observation found them to treat all children and parents the same. My child has come along extremely well since starting- enjoying all facilities provided, loves the art side and playing out.

Since bringing my twins to Kinder Haven myself and my husband have nothing but praise for Kinder Haven. They have only been here since January and they have settled so well- extremely well. So much so that they squeal and jump with excitement when they enter the doors. The staff here are amazing and
cannot fault them, especially two staff. I'm so glad we chose Kinder Haven.

A fantastic nursery, very friendly, very clean. Staff are very helpful. My daughter loves coming to nursery. Fob system is fantastic for security. Outdoor playing area is amazing. CCTV cameras are very good. I feel that my daughter is in a very safe and fun environment.

My daughter had built up a massive phobia about attending nursery, we had tried alternatives but really had a distressing time, I approached Kinder Haven in August as I started a new full time job. The initial email I sent was responded to promptly and the content reassured me that we would be worked
with to overcome my daughters fear. We have had an amazing result and my daughter absolutely thrives here. Her eating disorder has also vanished. The staff are thoughtful, Jolly, and very caring. I can honestly say they have supported me through some very testing times. Everyday my child comes home happy and well looked after. The Nursery has fab security fob access only. The nursery has amazing facility fab outdoor play and my daughter is now in Bright Stars which is helping to make an easier adjustment for when my child starts school in September. I am a particularly hard customer to please as I had a very bad experience with one of my older children whilst in child care. The fact that I am filled with confidence every day I leave her at Kinder Haven. We consider them family as the way they care about the children in their care comes so close to it! I cant say enough great things! every mother needs to feel they are doing their best for their children and for me this nursery is the XYZ factor of childcare! Keep up the great work and thank you x

Our daughter absolutely loves going to pre-school and I think that's the best indicator. I can honestly say that this is a wonderful nursery and the staff are amazing. They are genuinely interested in everything the kids are saying and what they are doing etc. Every morning we get happy greetings and
every time I collect my daughter I get a full feedback of what happened during the day, what she ate, played with and talked about. Just perfect. I wouldn't change a thing!

Staff are friendly and personable with my child. They know her likes and dislikes and make effort to get to know the children. Lots of interaction and messy play and singing and dancing to entertain my daughter and she is also learning a lot at the same time.

A fantastic setting with amazing resources and outdoor area. Area's of provisions are always set out with interesting and engaging activities. Staff are all great at communicating with parents on child's progress. My son loves coming here and has made great steps with his language development and has
become very good communicating with other children.

This is a lovely clean nursery and I feel they do an incredible job of engaging the children with fun and educational activities. Their healthy food policy is very important and the outside space is fantastic. The staff are also amazing, they get down to the child's level and make sure they are getting
total focus, a tricky thing to master with so many children to look after.


My only reservation comes from the cost of this nursery. Already on the pricey side they do not open during some of the half terms yet these periods are chargeable. Other nurseries do not adopt this policy and I have many friends who's children attend nurseries that open to suit the normal working hours of parents. The most recent example was Christmas where they shut between Christmas and New Year however this was normal business hours for almost everyone I know and therefore leaves you with no option but to take annual leave or duplicate your childcare costs.

Our nurseries operate for 51 weeks a year with 1 weeks closure over the Christmas period, fees are calculated over the sessions and weeks you require and no charges are applied for our Christmas closures. We offer flexible care packages based on your needs and availability. Lovely staff, lovely setting, can't rate the team enough. Always clean and a friendly atmosphere. The girls always keep my daughter entertained and look after her when she's upset. Makes going to work a bit easier!
