Kids Planet Horsforth is a family owned private nursery that gives children the best start to life by giving them the confidence to play and learn about the world around them. Children are nurtured and encouraged as they discover their own unique personality and take part in a wide variety of activities to boost their imagination and social skills.

The nursery takes the safety of children very seriously and has complex security systems including CCTV monitoring and door entry intercom devices.

The nursery has age appropriate rooms, designed and furnished with resources and furniture to assist child carers covering the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

My son loves going to this nursery, he seems really happy there and seems to enjoy the activities they do. He has brilliant relationships with the staff and they are supporting his development well.

Kinder Haven is a fantastic nursery.
The staff are amazing. They are always positive and upbeat and will always highlight any concerns or issues. They have developed a very positive bond with my son.
The manager and staff are really accommodating - whether around additional days or dietary changes.
In addition, the nursery has great facilities, the outdoor space is amazing.

This is a lovely nursery with amazing facilities and wonderful, caring staff. They've been able to start cracking my daughter's extreme fussy eating, where her previous nursery wasn't. Our daughter also comes home with clean clothes nearly every day, despite doing all sorts of messy play; whereas, we
were constantly buying new clothes when she was at another nursery due to everything being destroyed by paint, which we thought was just part and parcel of nursery play.

My nineteen month old absolutely loves nursery. His development since coming to this nursery is amazing. The staff are so friendly and I feel that my child is 100% looked after and safe here.

My child has been attending since age eight months and is now two and a half. The nursery has been consistently excellent. They were really sensitive and understanding in the difficult early days of settling in and went the extra mile to make my daughter feel comfortable. The staff are all loving and
seem to have a genuine bond with the children they work with. My daughter is excited to go and see her friends and the staff, and she always comes home happy, clean and well fed. I feel like I can trust them completely and am very satisfied.

Our son has been at Kinder Haven in Horsforth (term time) since Feb '16 and loves it!


The practitioners are passionate, caring and always able to offer advice and support. They are well experienced and actively work towards your child's developmental milestones. They provide age-appropriate activities

and lots of time to play (inside and outside). The staff communicate daily events on an online app, which enables parents to keep a check on what their child has done and eaten.


The nursery itself is very secure and people cannot enter without a fob or a valid reason to do so. Rooms are spacious, secure and well resourced with clean looking equipment. Corridors and rooms are kept tidy and are cleaned well. There is also a lovely outdoor area where children can play outside all year round. The walls display artwork that the children have done themselves or photos of them discovering toys/objects.


Meals are well balanced, nutritious and offer a wide range of different flavours.

My son has been at KinderHaven Horsforth since it opened in 2015. He's now three and in Brightstars, and loves it even more than the younger rooms! The rooms and outside space are fantastic, and the staff caring and engaging. He really enjoys his time there and always has lots to tell us about what
he's been up to. I've recommended K H to several friends and they've all been equally happy with the nursery. Whenever we've had anything to discuss, any minor issues with the staff, we have felt listened to and understood. The staff are great at keeping us informed about our son's development.

My child has attended Kinder Haven - Horsforth since she was eight months old and is now two years. The staff and environment are incredibly complimentary for a child to grow and explore. I'm especially an advocate of the EYFS syllabus followed by the nursery, and I've seen my daughter flourish in the
presence of her carers.
The nursery actively gets involved with calendar events and celebrations, often my daughter regularly brings home artwork and creative work she's been involved with.
Lovely nursery and happy I chose Kinder Haven.

We sent out eldest son to another nursery and we thought the service was fantastic but Kinder Haven is in a class of its own with regards to our youngest son.
Fantastic support throughout the company, owner, keyworker, manager and chef.
The building itself I can't fault and out must check out the
outside area.

The nursery has gone above and beyond for my son, he loved coming to nursery on a daily basis and is always excited to see the staff, they treat us like family and were always interested in what he has been up to at the weekend. The staff were always on hand if I have needed advice or support which
means a lot to me and my son.
The facilities are fabulous with an amazing outdoor area which my son called a park which they explore throughout the day with lots of activities that my son tells me about, sometimes he didn't want to come home!
The nursery is clean, bright and the food smells delicious, I could not ask for anything more. I would recommend for any parents looking for childcare!
