Kids Planet Horsforth is a family owned private nursery that gives children the best start to life by giving them the confidence to play and learn about the world around them. Children are nurtured and encouraged as they discover their own unique personality and take part in a wide variety of activities to boost their imagination and social skills.

The nursery takes the safety of children very seriously and has complex security systems including CCTV monitoring and door entry intercom devices.

The nursery has age appropriate rooms, designed and furnished with resources and furniture to assist child carers covering the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

We've been very happy with the care my daughters received. Communication between staff and parents is good and we've found them very supportive with personal issues. My daughter is happy at nursery which is the best sign that Kinder Haven are doing a good job. Thank you.

Our daughter has attended Kinder Haven 5 days each week for the past 12 months since the age of 9 months old. The facility is maintained to a high level with well proportioned rooms and outdoor play areas. Security is excellent along with communication between staff/parents. As first-time parents, this
nursery has exceeded our expectations and our daughter is benefiting as a result.

I’ve had 2 boys at this nursery from the day it’s opened and I can’t say anything bad about it. I have a great relationship with the staff and my boys have made great friends. They are so well looked after every day and the staff are caring, friendly and will go out of their way to help with anything.
My eldest has allergies and they have fully accommodated him since we found out and they make him different food so he never misses out. When he had to start wearing glasses, they had all of the children set up a mini optician in the room and they all got on board with trying on glasses. I get an update on parent portal daily of different activities my boys are doing, nappy changes, naps and food!

My daughter has gone to Kinder Haven since she was 18 months old and we’ve always found them to be exceptional. The staff are warm and friendly and really know the children well. We’ll be sad when she goes off to primary school in September!

My daughter has attended Kinder Haven for just over two years and I have nothing but good things to say. The nursery itself is always extremely clean, tidy and safe with key fob access to every part of the building and, unlike most other nurseries that I viewed, the classes are split into age groups
which means activities are tailored specifically to your child's age and ability. They have great facilities with a sensory room for the little ones and separate playgrounds for different age groups with tons of equipment for the children to play with. The staff have been amazing and, most importantly, I have a great amount of trust in them and know that they will keep me well informed of any accidents, illnesses and with regards to my daughter's development.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kinder Haven to anyone looking for a nursery, we've been extremely happy with our decision so far.

Excellent nursery. Very clean, staff are great - really polite and all seem to know all children's names despite it being a large nursery. Really good meals and my daughter always seems really happy there

My Daughter has attended Kinder Haven since she was 12 weeks old, she is now two and a half, and I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of sending their child there.


The staff and facilities are excellent. My daughter enjoys going each day so I have no problems dropping her off in the morning.

Her learning and development have continually tracked ahead of her expected ability at her age and this is in my opinion due to the staff.


As well as being highly competent, the staff are extremely caring and my daughter has formed strong bonds with her various key workers and made good friends.


I have friends and family with children at other nurseries and from speaking to them I can honestly say Kinder Haven offers significantly better childcare in all aspects than others I hear about

My daughter started at this Nursery when she was 8 months old, I was so nervous about leaving her but very quickly stopped worrying when she was at nursery. The staff are all so lovely, actually care and build relationships with the children, look after them so well and update you on everything they
do, including taking videos of them when they’re learning new tricks, and then upload them to the app. When picking up my daughter they always told me what she’d eaten, how much, if she had napped and how long. As well as all this, I was always amazed by the things she had learnt at Nursery, developed so much while she was there.

My daughter never settled at her previous nursery and I regularly had to pick her up because she was so distraught. Since being at Kinder Haven she has grown in confidence and now looks forward to nursery and talks with pride about all of her friends. The standard of classrooms, equipment, staff training
and the facilities is second to none. I’ve never seen such a professionally run nursery before. They have managed to retain complete personability and a welcoming atmosphere, whilst operating on an impeccably professional level. No sense of warmth has been lost to organisation and diligence. The whole building buzzes with the excitement of happy children. It is spotlessly clean and the staff are authoritative, confident and clearly very well trained, yet warm and genuinely caring with the children. I would recommend it to anyone who was looking for a fantastic start for their baby.

Both our 2 children attend the nursery and they have done so since they were 7 months old. The care given at this nursery is excellent. Staff are friendly, down-to-earth and professional. The nursery manager is friendly, approachable and resolves any issues very quickly. I would not hesitate to recommend

Our ten month old boy has been attending since August and he loves it.
They do a range of activities that always seem to tire him out.
The staff are great and always enthusiastic.
The app is easy to use and allows me to keep up to date with everything that he does throughout the day.
There is
a large outside play area that is split into sections for the different age groups.
There is CCTV in the rooms.
Very secure building with a strict entry policy. Fob access only.
Plenty of space to park for collections.

Our little boy has been attending the nursery on a term time only basis since he was ten months old. We couldn’t be happier with all areas of the nursery, the staff have been fantastic and super smiley and friendly! They have really got to know him and he absolutely loves going.
He has tried all sorts
of foods that he wouldn’t have done at home and has met lots of pals. It’s been great for his confidence and he has huge smile on his face at drop off times. We have recommended it to lots of our friends and feel so lucky that our nursery experience is how it is. Thank you.

My little girl has been attending the nursery for over five months now. It didn’t take her long at all to settle in and now she happily waves me off at the door. She loves her key worker. The parent zone system means I can check on what’s been going on during her day, it's also nice to get pictures/videos
of her enjoying the activities.

My son has been going to this nursery for nearly two and a half years. I feel he has benefited from being in a nursery care setting rather than a childminder as he is socialised with other children and has made friends with his peers and has built great relationships with the caregivers in his room.
The facilities are perfect to help with the children's development and are age appropriate. The managers do a great job and have kept me informed of my child's progress. They spend their time supporting the caregivers and the children in their rooms, which is reassuring as they are getting to know your child. It is a fantastic nursery and would highly recommend it to other people.

Our daughter has been attending Kinder Haven in Horsforth since January 2018 and we couldn't be happier with the care she has received. All members of staff, from senior management to the cleaners, are always consistently polite, courteous and extremely helpful. The nursery itself is very good, it has
everything the children need to keep them happy, safe and well looked after.
The staff that work at this nursery are by far the best I have ever seen in any nursery, you can see they love the job they do which is seen through the care that is given to the children. I would 100% recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a high standard of childcare without comprise.
