Kids Planet Horsforth is a family owned private nursery that gives children the best start to life by giving them the confidence to play and learn about the world around them. Children are nurtured and encouraged as they discover their own unique personality and take part in a wide variety of activities to boost their imagination and social skills.

The nursery takes the safety of children very seriously and has complex security systems including CCTV monitoring and door entry intercom devices.

The nursery has age appropriate rooms, designed and furnished with resources and furniture to assist child carers covering the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

My daughter has gone to Kinder Haven for the last 2.5 years and I cannot fault the care she receives. She looks forward to going to nursery and has built up such bonds with the staff, each and every one of the staff team is so friendly and I would highly recommend this nursery to any parents looking
for childcare.

A fantastic nursery! My son started when he was just over 1, he settled in really well in the baby room and he’s been happy at nursery since. The staff are great and the transitions between rooms have all been very smooth. He always comes out with a big smile on his face and tells me what activities
he’s been doing and his friends he’s been playing with. It’s amazing to see his development progressing from being at nursery. We’ve always felt he is very safe at nursery during Covid and his keyworker has been great at offering one to one chats.
Overall, we couldn’t be happier with Kinder Haven.

My little girl has enjoyed nursery since starting last September. She is always happy to go and the staff are very friendly and caring. We enjoy reading about what she has been up to on the parent app. We receive regular updates and photos and on collection, we are given an update of her day. It is
clear that the practitioners take time to set up stimulating activities and work with the children’s interests.

Can’t praise enough for the handling of Covid, from organisation and communication to the care and safety of the children, staff and parents. It’s been superb. Away from Covid, excellent care, structure and development of my daughter, who you can see, develops and learns every day.

My daughter has been attending Kinder Haven nursery for the past 2 years and enjoys it so much, she has a really good connection with her key worker and will miss her when she starts school in September.
My little boy has also recently started attending nursery and the staff have been great at keeping
me informed on how he is settling in.
The staff are friendly and always available with any queries.

Cannot fault this nursery, all the staff are friendly and always a warm greeting. Both my girls have gone since they were one and have both come on leaps and bounds! They also eat everything so I know they had a good feed the days they are in! Would recommend!

The nursery has been so good throughout the Covid crisis. Although we can’t enter the building; we are still kept up to date via the app on the children’s activities each day. They receive excellent care, healthy food and learn a lot whilst they’re there. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them.

The team at Kinder Haven Horsforth are fantastic! The safety and care of the children is paramount and is taken very seriously by all staff. They communicate well with parents and the transitions from room to room are well thought out for each child. He loves the food that is made and talks about what
the chef has made for them that day. They plan interesting and engaging activities for the children. My son loves going to nursery and always comes out with a big smile on his face. Although he can never remember what he has done, his development is clear from his knowledge about subjects that have not been discussed at home. We will both miss the team very much when my son starts school in September!

We have 2 children who attend Kinder Haven and they have done since they were around a year old. Our eldest loves nursery and always talks about the staff and her friends. Our youngest started in January and she settled in so quickly thanks to the brilliant team.
The communication through an app is
good and it's great to see what they're getting up to and how they are eating and sleeping.
The main things we love about the nursery are:
The incredible staff who all care so much about the children, I really feel as though they know each child.
Fantastic resources, including the huge outdoor area, to promote learning, communication and fun! As there are rooms for each age range, the resources are always age appropriate.
The home cooked meals, I'm often told that the chef makes better pasta than me.
The cleanliness of the setting. Even before 2020, it was immaculate but they really have gone above and beyond to keep our children safe this last year, thank you!

My daughter started this nursery from being young, and she is now 4, and I haven’t had any issues and would highly recommend it to anyone considering this nursery. The staff are fantastic, and it gives me so much relief knowing she is there and being cared for as if she was their own. My nephew is 11,
and he still remembers the staff there, as they do him, so I think that speaks for itself.

Having had experience with my nephew going to Kinder Haven it was important to me that my own child got a place here. All the girls are enthusiastic and very helpful. I feel so comfortable leaving my little girl in their care. She has come on leaps and bounds and gained so much confidence since starting

I have twin girls who attend the nursery and are about to go to primary school in September.
They have come on so much during their time at Kinder Haven and the team are constantly changing their appetite to keep things current and the children interested.

Kinder Haven is superb. The staff are amazing and our boy loves it. The learning the kids do is great and you can keep up with what’s happening on the app. The manager is brilliant and is clearly passionate about what she does. Can’t recommend it enough

My daughter has attended Kinder Haven in Horsforth for two years now, I made the decision to take her out of her previous nursery due to lack of engagement with the staff there, all I can say is that this is the best decision I made. My little girl has come on leaps and bounds since joining Kinder Haven
and I cannot thank and show the appreciation more to the staff who are all amazing, my daughter absolutely loves them all, I will be so sad when she leaves this year to go to big school, but they are all absolute angels.

We’ve used Kinder Haven for both my children from the age of 10 months. Over the 6 years, we have been with them they have been friendly, informative and professional and I’m so glad we found them when they first opened! My youngest is leaving to go to primary school in September and I’ll be so sad
to say goodbye to everyone. I’ll just have to have another! I would highly recommend this nursery, its facilities and staff to anyone looking for a nursery! Thank you!

The manager and the team at Kinder Haven are amazing, my daughter always seems really happy to go in and when I collect her. Communication is great and staff are always happy to help. I'm regularly informed of what activities the children are doing and there's Early Years Foundation Stage information
on the app. The outside space is much bigger and nicer than other nurseries I viewed.

My child has attended since she was 10 months old, she is nearly 4 now and she loves the nursery. This is all because of the wonderful staff and care that is given to the children. A wonderful nursery! We love Kinder Haven Ltd @ Wood Lane. Our little boy has been attending for almost a year from the age of seven months. He absolutely loves his days at Kinder Haven Ltd @ Wood Lane. The manager and the team care for him wonderfully. The focus on development and communication for
each child as an individual is absolutely excellent. The outdoor space for children is also a superb element. He has lovely home cooked meals and comes home jibbering away about his exciting days. We couldn’t be happier and would like to thank everyone for looking after our little boy. This has been a very difficult time to start a nursery during the pandemic but thanks to the professionalism of the team at Kinder Haven Ltd @ Wood Lane we have absolute confidence. We are truly delighted and can’t recommend it enough. Looking after ones child is the single most important thing in the world to us and Kinder Haven Ltd @ Wood Lane achieve it will bells on.
