A safe, caring and inspiring nursery setting for children. The staff are wonderful, the activities are engaging, and the environment feels like a second home. Highly recommend for giving little ones the best possible start.

I would highly recommend Kindred Amesbury to anyone considering this as a nursery for their child. We relocated to the area from Scotland and, due to the distance, couldn't view the setting beforehand. The manager was amazing, sending me pictures and a video tour of the building and surrounding areas,
as well as arranging settling sessions for when we arrived in the area.

My son settled quickly and was welcomed as if the staff had always known him. The staff are passionate about providing stimulating activities, and my little boy always leaves with a big smile on his face and is excited to return each day. The staff are excellent at communicating with us, and it is so reassuring that my little one is happy and content in the care of the staff at Kindred Amesbury.

A fabulous nursery with amazing staff.

I have nothing but positive feedback about my child’s time at Kindred Parsonage, I feel confident my child is being well cared for whilst she is there. They have supported my child with her speech and she’s really come on leaps and bounds since her time there. The staff are all brilliant, friendly and
welcoming. Especially one lady, she is a real asset to Kindred Parsonage. The communication is easy and I can see exactly what my child has done during her time there via an app. My child is always coming home and telling us about the activities she has done whilst there (lots of messy play, seasonal activities etc) and is always excited to go to nursery.

I would highly recommend Parsonage Nursery in Amesbury. I would like to say a massive thank you to the nursery manager who is sadly leaving but without her my daughter wouldn’t have a place here, as she made our experience viewing the nursery very special and it just felt right. She has been nothing
but great with us, she is kind and polite and has reassured me every step of the way through my daughter's first time starting a nursery and me as a mum who’s not had to do this before. All the staff at Parsonage are brilliant and I couldn’t thank them enough for making my daughter happy and comfortable here.

All four of my children have attended Kindred Parsonage Pre-school, starting with my oldest who is now 11, my youngest who is 2 currently attends.
The manager and the team are just amazing. You always see smiley happy faces when you go in, from both the adults and the children.
The lovely warm welcome
that they all give you is just above and beyond. The children all seem to settle in very quickly and I truly believe it's down to how the staff care and look after the children which makes them feel safe and at ease.
My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since starting, she never used to talk or say anything, and since being at pre-school, she now has a proper conversation with you!
The staff have all taken the time to sit down and help my daughter to learn colours, numbers, the alphabet, explore different textures and a lot more.
Parsonage Pre-school really is amazing and certainly makes sure that your child reaches their potential ready for their next steps in schooling.

My 3-year-old son currently attends Parsonage Pre-school I knew I wanted him to attend there when he was old enough as I had heard good things about it from other parents in the area. During my wife's maternity leave, the covid pandemic started. After restrictions and lockdowns for nearly 2 years, I
was concerned about how this had impacted my child's social skills and worried about how he would settle in a nursery. I am amazed at the level of care the children receive and the caring, attentive attitude the staff display there. My son has come on leaps and bounds since he started and learns more every day. Putting to rest my concerns over his developmental progress after the lockdown period, due to him not having a lot of social contact outside the of the immediate family. He wakes up every morning excited to go to nursery! I am grateful for the support my son receives during his early educational years from the nursery and I truly believe the staff there have his best interests at heart.

I have a 4-year-old son who is autistic and non-verbal. Over the past 2 years, the nursery manager has been exceptional at helping me get all the care and support my son is entitled to, often educating me on the options that are available to us. It has been hard navigating a world that is set up for
a neurotypical child not a neurodivergent child like my son and the Kindred Parsonage team have been an integral part of us raising such a happy content child who feels completely safe and comfortable in their care.
One staff member, in particular, is like a second Mum to my child, their bond is abundantly clear. The progress the entire team has made in my child's development, communication and understanding has been really significant in the past couple of years and without them, I don’t believe he would be the well-adjusted boy he is today.
Without a doubt, all of the staff at Kindred Parsonage have a huge role to play in my son's life and I am so grateful to them all for the excellent care they provide.

When we first started looking at nurseries for our son, Parsonage stood out to us. They recognised the need to fit around the individual child and not for the child to fit into the setting. The staff team are friendly, approachable, and informative and always have the time to talk to you about any your
child’s day. There is good communication between the setting and home with regular updates through the app and they always welcome any additional contact. There is a wide selection of activities on offer each session, a mixture of free play and some structured. The outside area appears quite small but is full of things to do and a firm favorite!

My daughter has been going to this nursery since January last year and they have been absolutely brilliant. She has bonded well with all of the employees.
Any accidents are explained to me on pick up and logged on the system.
At pick up, I get told how her day has been, how she's behaved and interacted
with everyone. They keep you updated on the website with pictures as well which is always lovely to see and they are very easygoing. I'd highly recommend this nursery.

Current Review Score: 9.6 (9.611)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.6 (9.611) out of 10 for Kindred Parsonage (Amesbury) Pre-school is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 8 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.8 out of 5 from 8 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.811 for Kindred Parsonage (Amesbury) Pre-school is calculated as follows: ( (77 Excellents x 5) + (18 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 95 Ratings = 4.811
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.8 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Kindred Parsonage (Amesbury) Pre-school is based on 8 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 3.8
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 30 number of registered child places is 6, which has been reached with 8 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
