Having had the experience of more than one nursery in the area, I can highly recommend Banana Moon. It is a calm and friendly setting, and my daughter has been very happy there over 2.5years. Lockdown really emphasised what an important role the nursery has played in her life as she missed it so much and asked to go most days. We are happy with the care and the opportunities for learning and development. The manager and the team are very open, flexible and communicate well, which has been so valuable in recent times.

Sending my child to nursery was a big step, but the right nursery makes it so much easier, especially if you’re working full-time. My child is fond of his caregivers who are all friendly, professional and dedicated. They do a variety of engaging activities throughout the day which he enjoys and that goes beyond what we would do at home. He has also benefitted from the positive interaction with little friends. The daily updates on the app keep me informed and reassured that all is well. A big thank you to everyone at Banana Moon, Wimbledon, for your consistent hard work and all you’ve done for us.

Our son has been at Banana Moon for almost a year and we absolutely love it. The staff make this nursery what it is, they are all incredible and like a family. Every member of staff knows our son's name, even if they teach in different classes. He has such a special bond with all his room teachers. The app keeps us up to date on his day which we like and special events like Christmas parties allow us to meet the other parents. The nursery is so clean, the activities seem really varied and so is the food. I really recommend the nursery.

I am very happy with my son's progress since he joined Banana Moon. I highly recommend this nursery.
We see a great improvement in his speech which was a concern for us.

My son will really miss this nursery when he starts his school in September.

My two children have attended this nursery over the past three years and we couldn't be happier. It's a very warm, friendly nursery with great staff. The nursery itself is always very clean and the food is outstanding. It really makes a difference to have an on-site chef who is able to cook a wide variety of very healthy meals for the children. We love this nursery and have recommended it to many of our friends.

My child has been at Banana Moon for the last 2.5 years. As she grows from one room to the next she has evolved into a happy, confident and curious child. My son also attended and was very well prepared to attend school. He was looking forward to growing up and his first day at school was a success in a large part due to Banana Moon. The staff there make your child feel special and valued.

Both my children have attended this nursery. My son left it last year when he moved to reception. My daughter aged 3 years, still attends. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the amount of attention given to the children. Both my kids liked going there. The staff are very co-operative and very open to feedback (both giving and receiving). If there was an area of improvement, I would say it would be good to get specific feedback on learning-based activities, what should we be working with the child at home.

Otherwise, am quite happy with how they have looked after our kids.

From the day of our first viewing/show around of the nursery, my husband and I felt confident that our daughter (who started in care at 9 months old) would be well cared for and would excel from the care and attention given. It is apparent that the whole Banana Moon 'family' are dedicated to the children in their care and that they enjoy what they do. Communication is fantastic, the premises are clean, parents are welcomed to be involved in functions throughout the year and my daughter enjoys the time she spends at daycare. I would highly recommend the Banana Moon family to anyone looking for care for their child.

My daughter is full time at the nursery due to the nature of our work, and it shows, as she is well ahead of her age in learning. She looks forward to going to Banana Moon in the morning and will talk a lot about what they will be doing during that day. When I collect her, and after she has said goodbye to everyone (individually), I then get the run down of nursery life that day. The team are very good with the children, taking them on regular outdoor trips to the park/farm etc. Her favourite time of the week is 'show and tell' on Wednesday. She eats all her food most of the time, which rarely happens at home.

We sent our 2 year old son to Banana Moon and were very pleased with the progress he made there. The care he received was excellent and if we were not moving area we would gladly keep sending him there. The staff are very kind to him and he cared for them a great deal. The daily reporting mechanism was useful too.

I feel privileged to be the Director of a beautiful nursery.

Banana Moon Wimbledon is a place that children can feel confident to express themselves, develop their personality, make friends and learn to be independent and happy.

Banana Moon Wimbledon was opened in September 2014.
Our biggest challenge was to create a quality team. We now have a qualified and experienced team, that makes the nursery a great place to be.

We provide constant training and updates to our team to support them to be the best as they possibly can.

Children learn through play, we provide a safe environment with stimulating and inviting activities that cover all areas of learning.
