Nursery at St Gabriel's

We have previously used 2 private nurseries in the Newbury area. Neither of which we were satisfied with. We decided to take our time and research 5 more in order to make the best decision for enrollment in September 2017. Sandleford was the 4th nursery we visited and we were completely blown away by the facilities available. Also, the efforts that staff to go to ensure we and our child are happy and safe here are remarkable. We ended up enrolling our child 7 months earlier than intended just because of how impressed we were. The facilities available are by far the best we have seen compared to the other 6 nurseries we visited. If you're currently researching nurseries then this one definitely has to be on the list to visit.

I cannot recommend Sandleford St Gabriels nursery enough. It's a beautiful place to let your child grow. The environment is very good and the teachers are fantastic. They care about kids and always listening to help grow with the kid's needs. My son has been going since it opened in September 2014. He has grown into a beautiful confident child inspiring us everyday. I will give a 5/5 to Sandleford.

The facilities are great and the staff are always friendly and professional. My daughter has a lovely time here and is happy to be dropped off each day.

She loves using the great outside space and is always keen to show off what she had made throughout the day.

Our daughter(2) loves her time at Sandleford St Gabriels. My wife and I are over the moon at how all three of us are treated by the staff there. The facilities for the children are excellent. They have the opportunity to use the extensive grounds to supplement the wonderful indoor learning and play.

The staff were very attentive and all the children in the class were very engrossed in the lesson being given. From the limited contact, we are impressed with the care and attention given and would have no issues in recommending St Gabriels.

Our daughter is really happy here. The staff are excellent, caring, helpful and friendly but set sensible boundaries and encourage good values amongst the children. The facilities are really good and the children have a good mix of different activities, rest and quiet time, helping tidy, learning, outdoors, cooking, creative, play etc. Sometimes I go to pick her up at the end of the day and she doesn't want to come home!

Overall, great staff, great resources and happy children, winner!

Excellent preschool and nursery, great staff in the preschool room. Good facilities in the room, lots of organised activities and free play. Outside space is wonderful. Would definitely recommend Sandleford to other parents.

Access to the school is very easy with a huge school car park available.

I particularly like the outdoor space that has been created to bring together various age groups and the extended grounds that allow the children to go walking, explore and observe the animals - a particular favourite for my son!

Fantastic staff, excellent care provision. Wonderful grounds which the staff make great use of and ensure the children spend a lot of time outside. My child is extremely happy at nursery and will be continuing to the school.

Both my children love attending Sandleford. They enjoy the different activities on offer and being able to explore the grounds. Having free flow both indoors and outdoors is also a real positive. I have already recommended the nursery to many family and friends.

Fabulous nursery. It's never easy trusting your baby into the care of others, but all the staff at Sandleford have made it much easier and are always smiling, welcoming and brilliant with the children. They all make a real effort to get to know all the children, even the ones not in their actual rooms and go out of their way to provide a fun packed, safe learning environment for the babies and children. The management team are lovely, it's all really well organised and run and I can't recommend it enough.

We are extremely happy with the progress our son has made while attending Sandleford for the last two years. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and most importantly our son enjoy every day at nursery.

Our daughter absolutely loves going to Sandleford, St Gabriels and we are extremely happy with everything about it. She recently made the step up from 4 days per week to all 5 days and couldn't be happier - in fact, I found it much harder than she did!

There are fantastic school grounds to play on and explore, plus a dedicated outdoor space for the nursery children. Being a part of the wider school means that they can also make use of lots of the facilities within the school - Music, French, PE etc.

The staff are great and really care about the children they are looking after. I would not hesitate to recommend Sandleford.

We have two children at Sandleford and can't recommend them highly enough, the environment is wonderful and the leadership shown by the staff is second to none. Only slight concern is the high turnover of staff over the recent months and it's a shame to see some familiar faces leave. However, this seems to have been managed extremely well and standards haven't dropped. Our kids love it there and we feel very happy they are looked after so well.
