I am exceptionally pleased with the care and support provided to my child. He was initially unhappy about attending preschool however he is now very happy to attend and cannot stop talking at the end of each day about the exciting things he has done. The staff are fantastic and know each child so well.
I could not recommend enough.

I am thrilled with the Pre-School. The staff are professional, enthusiastic and clearly adore each of the children in their care. Each day is filled with carefully planned, age-appropriate activities which inspire and educate the children in a fun, loving environment.

My daughter began attending Sandleford in 2017. From day one she has really enjoyed going there, all of the staff are welcoming and friendly, they genuinely take an interest in her progress and well being. That being not just the staff who look after her, she knows all of the team well which makes me
feel comfortable with how they cover for absences and how the transition will be when she moves rooms. Above all, I am delighted with my daughter's progression, each day she comes how with new words and skills learned during the day and is always excited to tell us what she has been going.


The nursery setting is absolutely fantastic, the children have access to outside areas that are specific to their age group. They also have a larger outside play area where they can join with other age groups and play. Being part of the wider school the children also have access to the sports hall and music room so there are plenty of ways to exercise and play even when the weather is bad.

My 3-year-old son has been attending Sandleford for a year and he absolutely loves it! He has made good friends since joining and is very fond of the staff who take very good care of him. He enjoys all of the activities, especially baking cakes, singing and dancing and can't stop talking about his day
when I collect him. He is always happy and excited when we arrive in the morning and loves the food. We receive regular updates about his meals and activities throughout the day via the Parent Zone app which is very reassuring.


The staff are amazing and there have been very few changes since he joined. We are kept informed of any issues that arise and the team are very helpful and take the time to speak to us about all aspects of his learning and development. He has developed exceptional manners during his time there and makes sure to say goodbye to everyone at the end of the day. We were so lucky to get a place here and couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery.

My daughter has been at Sandleford's for 6 months now and has come on leaps and bounds in that time. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and my daughter is very happy here. I cannot recommend Sandleford's highly enough.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough. My daughter has been attending since 2016 and she not only loves it, but she has learned so much and her development is amazing. The staff are very knowledgeable, kind and caring and always happy to answer any questions. Each age group has their own room which
all open into a covered free-flow area and from there to a communal garden.


The nursery is attached to the school, St Gabriel's, so they are able to explore the local grounds. Teachers from the school often come in for reading and language sessions, and the children have access to the music room to learn about different instruments and sounds.


The nursery uses ParentZone to capture events from the day and which parents can use to submit their own reports. The use of ParentZone is also tied in with the Early Years Foundation tracking.

Sandleford is a well balanced, nurturing daycare for our child.


We are very happy with the excellent facilities, focus on early learning from the well trained and kind staff that treat my child with such care and attention. My son's happiness is what matters to me the most and it so reassuring that

he is happy and loves going to Sandleford. They provide children with good exposure to outdoors (access to vast areas in their campus) and interweaving education during their outdoor experience. I have noticed significant, positive change in my son once he started at Sandleford.

I have a 2-year-old daughter who has attended the Nursery from 6 months old and she absolutely loves it! There is very little turnover of staff at Sandleford which is great as it has allowed her to form really strong bonds with the staff. She recently progressed into another room at the Nursery and
they have been fantastic in preparing her for that transition. She is happier than ever and learning new things every day. One of the best things about Sandleford is their outdoor space/facilities - I love the fact that the children spend so much time outside playing and exploring in the fresh air.

The staff are very friendly, kind and patient and have helped my son adjust to the nursery very well. We had moved home at the time when my son started going to the nursery, he is one year old and it was the first time for him that was spending time away from home and me. They have been very nice to
him and now he has settled in and is very happy to go to the nursery. He has developed so much, learned new words, songs, games, loves to read books to him now and plays well with other children too. The nursery is very cosy and I like the fact that they do take them for a walk sometimes and do not stay in all day. I am very happy with the nursery and so lucky we found a place available.

Our boy has settled in very quickly thanks to the care & attention of the manager and her staff. The facilities provided at Sandleford/St Gabriel’s are superb which is ideal for our Son who loves to be outdoors. I would have no hesitation on recommending Sandleford to any other parent.

Sandleford is the most wonderful nursery! My son has progressed from the baby room to toddlers seamlessly. This is a testament to the care and professionalism of all the staff. The facilities are outstanding and the little ones benefit from sharing facilities with the main school. There is a structured
programme throughout the day but with a huge variety of activities and plenty of fun! I have already signed up my new arrival.

My 3-year-old daughter started at Sandleford in September. We have been so impressed by how much she has developed since starting. The staff are passionate and caring, including specialist PE and music staff from the main school. The children use the gym at the school so have access to facilities
rarely available at a nursery.


The environment is free flow and so the children can often get outside and because part of the outside area is covered they can still play even if there is a little rain. The nursery is always lovely and clean. We have found the management very supportive and the range of activities offered is excellent.


My daughter was always hungry when she came home from the previous nursery but now declines any food at the end of the day, so from a 3-year-old perspective the food is clearly good. The menus are on display so I know that she is eating good quality balanced meals.


My daughter is excited to go to pre-school - I can't say anymore except a big thank you.

I would highly recommend Sandleford, St Gabriels Nursery to friends and family. My daughter has been attending this nursery since it opened in September 2014. She has moved through from Babies to Toddlers and is now in Pre-School, the transition has been seamless. She has always been well cared for
by all the staff and I feel I receive relevant and regular updates on her progress. They always listen and help if my child requires any additional support. My daughter loves coming into nursery every day, there is a wide variety of activities (esp.utilising the wonderful grounds) and she has formed some firm friendships.
