Ladybird Private Day Nursery, Folly Brook House

My daughter started this nursery in May 2022, and watching her thrive since has been truly amazing. Everytime we pick her up she is so happy and upbeat, you can instantly tell she's had a really good day. She gets excited when we pull up to nursery now and she has no hesitation in going with the staff. The staff are amazing and really attentive. Everytime there has been a concern on my daughters health (persistent coughs, teething issues, ect) they do not hesitate to get in contact to update us how she has been in nursery. We receive a book everyday that tells us every nappy change, what she's ate, how much, and what activities she has done that day. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough to anyone. As a first time mum, you never know what to expect when your entrusting someone else to look after your child, but I know my daughter is safe and well looked after and she has the best days there.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough. My daughter has been so happy there and she's so supported and loved by the staff. During every transition either starting nursery or moving rooms they've always put her interests first and gone at a pace that suited her. She's loved every room she's been in from baby room, tweenies, toddlers and now pre-school and has formed such lovely bonds with the staff. Her confidence improves with every room she moves into. I am so happy that I can drop her off each day knowing that she's safe, thriving and happy - what more could you ask for!

We have used this nursery for many years for our children, and have always been very happy with the care from Ladybird Nursery. It is small enough to given continuity and familiarity to the children, but large enough to give lots of variety. Staff are caring, friendly and reliable.

My little girl has been in this nursery now for over three years from 8-months and she loves it. With additional needs which was only noticed around 2-years-old, Ladybird Private Day Nursery have accommodated massively, are looking at training to help moving forward and have done a brilliant job, couldn't be happier with my choice.

My daughter has been at the nursery since January 2022 and absolutely loves it. The whole team have been brilliant with her and us, from our first visit to now. They genuinely care about my daughter and are so enthusiastic about her development. They have been very supportive when we have needed to make changes to her schedule at short notice and have taken great care of her when she's been feeling a little off colour. The activities, food and trips out are well thought of and we love the daily updates we get in my daughter's purple book. Four members of staff to name a few, are wonderful and we can't say enough great things about the nursery and the team. We're so lucky that our daughter is able to learn and grow here.

My daughter goes to this nursery and since the first day I knew it was the right place for her to go, she’s always so happy. When I pick her up I always get feedback from the staff on how her day was and I can’t thank them enough for the way they look after her. Wish more nurseries were like this.

My Twins have attended since they were nine months old (now three years old). I cannot fault the level of care they have received not only by the key workers but all support and management staff too. Management are very approachable and actively involved with the children and parents which is nice to see. I have confidence that the key workers in every room have taken the time to know my twins as individuals and given them each the Tailored education they deserve. I am confident that my children's confidence, development and socialness are greatly down to the wonderful staff I really can not recommend them enough. The food they receive is varied and nutritious and changed on a regular basis which allows the children to explore new things which they may not have. In fact, I wouldn’t mind a seat at their table at lunchtime!

We are always so impressed with how clean she comes home as well, even though she's been doing activities. We are happy we chose Ladybird, and we would recommend to anyone if they want to send their child here. Top ratings from us, thank you, Ladybird.

I am really happy with ladybird, they work great around my shifts too and can always accommodate our needs. I definitely recommend it.

Amazing nursery, excellent staff, easy to cooperate with. My daughter has been here for two years and has loved every minute of it. She has come on so much since starting this nursery, would definitely recommend it.

My son has been at the nursery from five months of age and the whole experience at Ladybird has been wonderful. The staff are so kind and enthusiastic, the children very well cared for, with plenty of activities and healthy food and the organisation is excellent, catering very well for shift workers with varying work patterns. I feel so reassured leaving my child with them.

A wonderful learning environment for my child to grow and develop. Nurturing and creative staff creating environments of support which enhance a child's stimulation and sense of independence.

I never thought I would have children, so when my baby boy came along I was extremely happy. When I had to return to work, leaving my son was very difficult. The staff at Ladybird made me feel reassured he was safe, secure, stimulated and happy. He's enjoying nursery and is coming home with fantastic photographs and information regarding his day.

I have a one-year-old and two-year-old who attend this nursery three days a week since August 2016. They both settled in straight away thanks to the wonderful staff and management at ladybird. I can't say anything negative about this nursery, happy babies means happy mummy and daddy. My babies love their key workers. The staff here go above and beyond to help me and my little ones. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone. I have seen a huge development in both babies since attending here in only a few months. Not only do they do an excellent job with my children they are always willing to give me advice when I need it.

My little man aged 1 did his first picture in the first week just scribbles lol! But now wants to do pictures with mummy every day! I'm so chuffed with the learning skill they now share with me :D I would recommend this nursery to anyone! My grandson is just about to leave and go on to school nursery and this is the best place I could have picked for him to go. It has been an amazing start for him, things have been slow development wise, but he has come on so much in the last 6 months. He went from baby boy to a little boy. The activities inside and out are fabulous, the relationships between children and staff are perfect. I would highly recommend this nursery to everyone.

My daughter has progressed with her learning skills and her communication with the other children. She is sharing, caring, and understanding what's right and wrong. My child has had toilet training, learnt her colours, numbers and memorises pictures and their meanings. I will be sorry for her to leave in September 2016 to attend nursery. The staff have all been amazing.

My oldest daughter attended a few nurseries before starting school, but none compare to how amazing we have found this for our youngest daughter.

Daily feedback for our daughter, and nursery updates are just brilliant. One member of staff in the baby room is just amazing, our daughter loves her. We started her at the nursery from 4-5 months, but she made us feel completely at ease. We couldn't ask for better care. Plus the transition back to work easier.

The nursery has a great selection of foods on their menu, always a great smell coming from the kitchen. It's always been clean, with a variety of different activities set out daily.

My daughter has been at Ladybirds for a month and has settled in brilliant with the help of all the staff and children. She has started to learn her phonics and has made really good progress with writing her name.
