Kids Love Nature Kindergarten at Avon Heath

My daughter joined Avon Heath nature Kindergarten in September 2016 two days a week. From day one she thoroughly enjoyed her time there and came home with a new story every day whether it be what she did on a nature walk to what they had built or the artwork they had done. She has developed so very well and we are pleased with the communication from staff and how caring they are. They have nurtured her creative side but also shown her different techniques of learning numbers and letters. She is going on to school in September and Avon have given her a great head start and we’re confident that she will settle in well and be able to access the new learning she will receive. We would totally 100% recommend The nature kindergarten to anyone. Especially if your child embraces nature and loves to be outdoors!

Amazing learning environments both indoors and outdoors. A perfect setting for outdoorsy children. Staff are really caring and are really interested in the children's development and get to know them personally. The ranger sessions are an incredible enrichment to the days at the setting and my children really love these sessions. Parents must be aware that the children spend a lot of their time outside and be prepared for muddy clothes and faces at the end of the day. This setting is perfect for parents who want their children to do what children should be doing, getting outdoors and engaging with nature. They also have an opportunity for the children to take part in the eco-committee and teach them about the effects of littering and about recycling and how to do their bit to help our planet. I could not be happier with my decision to send my children to Kids Love Nature it has surpassed all of my expectations.

Amazing kindergarten, our son is very happy here, he loves the outside space and ranger walks. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

My twins attend the nursery and absolutely love their time there! They have learnt so much since they have been there and it’s a great environment for them to learn and develop. I feel it’s a nurturing environment for my children in their early years and it’s a place where they can grow to be confident children before moving onto school. I would have no hesitation in recommending the nursery to other parents.

My son has only been attending the nursery for 3 months. He has settled in really well. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. They have been great in helping my son adjust to a new situation. It's lovely to hear on our way home in the car, the fun things they've been up to during the day i.e. the ranger walks, swinging in the hammock, playing in the sand, collecting the chicken's eggs, reading, drawing and even cuddling up for a story are just a few. It makes my day at work more comfortable knowing my son is in good care, learning and having lots of fun.

I'd recommend this nursery to anyone that is not bothered by a few dirty clothes!

So far we are very pleased with the Avon Heath nature nursery. The staff are lovely and demonstrate a genuine warmth towards the children. The nursery has been extremely flexible in accommodating my work hours and I am pleased with the level of feedback I get regarding my child’s progress.

Her confidence has grown so much and she absolutely loves it, especially the ranger walks! I've noticed a massive change in her in the last few months and couldn't be happier!

This is the best nursery by far my children have attended. My daughter is nurtured and cherished and I am so grateful to the staff for helping her grow up and develop. The staff are also very supportive to parents too.

Children's Nature Nursery provides a positive and encouraging environment for children to grow and develop. My son loves going to nursery and misses it when he's not there. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to the children parents needs. I love the fact that they have different activities to do and are allowed to work at their own pace and it has laid a foundation for his future schooling.

We are extremely pleased with Children's Nature Nursery at Avon Heath. Our son loves the activities both inside and out (painting, cooking, ranger walks, cleaning out the chickens, playing in the mud kitchen, climbing on the pirate ship etc). We like the fact that he is involved in activities which involve risk in a controlled setting e.g. helping saw wood with supervision, climbing on tree trunks, helping to cut bread etc). What really strikes us is the dedication and kindness of all the staff. I feel confident that my son is well cared for and nurtured whilst at the nursery. He has tried a range of organic foods which he wouldn't normally eat at home and snacks are nutritious. Our son will be starting school next September and we are so happy he has had the opportunity to spend time in the fresh air in all weathers! We cannot recommend this nursery enough.
