The nursery received an Outstanding status from Ofsted in January 2016.

Kids Planet Higher Broughton nursery opened in 2014 and provides care for babies through to pre-school age. The nursery is conveniently situated on the corner of Park Lane and Bury New Road in Higher Broughton, Salford and has large open plan rooms with direct access to secure outdoor play areas for each age group. The nursery also features a separate roof terrace playground for pre-school children.

Meals and snacks are freshly prepared and the nursery has two separate kitchens, one of which is a kosher kitchen with a separate kosher chef.

Each room is divided by age groups where children are individuals and recognise when they are ready to make the next transition. The nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the children enjoy a self-generated programme, enhanced by the staff as they work to meet their own individual developmental goals. The nursery is well resourced and developed ensuring that all the areas of development relating to the EYFS are incorporated throughout.

Love this nursery, all my kids have been and loved it! The staff are so good - outstanding. Can't recommend it enough to everyone. They cater for all dietary needs and even have a Kosher kitchen.

The staff are very welcoming and friendly. My wife and I have had two children come here and we have been very pleased with the support our children have received. My son loved coming to nursery and made some good friends here.

Kids Planet Broughton is a very personal and warm nursery. All of the staff know my daughter and us as parents. They have been very supportive of the transition from dairy to a non-dairy diet, as my daughter had developed an intolerance. It is a very happy and stimulating environment. My daughter loves
coming and is starting to identify the staff by their names.

My child has been at Kids Planet since he was ten months old. I have always felt I can talk to staff if there are any issues. The atmosphere here at the nursery is more positive, with the management team that started in September 2019. I have no doubt that my child gets the care and attention he requires

Both my eldest daughter and son have been cared for and taught from an early age at the Kids Planet nurseries in Prestwich and Higher Broughton and both nurseries are second to none for the service they provide. I can’t speak highly enough of the calibre and the friendliness of the staff.


My daughter

is excelling at school now and this is undoubtedly due to the start that Kids Planet provided her with. I have no doubt that my son will also excel at school due to the excellent teaching and structure provided by Kids Planet.


The team will be sadly missed and I could not recommend them highly enough for any one's childcare needs.

Zaynab

Zaynab Qurashi

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Zaynab Qurashi is the Nursery Manager at Kids Planet Higher Broughton. Zaynab has 15 years of experience in early years in all age ranges and holds a BA Honours degree in Childcare and Education. She also has a very high knowledge in support with children with Special Educational Needs, and is qualified Mental First Aid trainer supporting children and adults. Zaynab also has a vast knowledge of the EYFS and the Birth to Five Matters and has been with the Kids Planet Team since 2015.
