The nursery received an Outstanding status from Ofsted in January 2016.

Kids Planet Higher Broughton nursery opened in 2014 and provides care for babies through to pre-school age. The nursery is conveniently situated on the corner of Park Lane and Bury New Road in Higher Broughton, Salford and has large open plan rooms with direct access to secure outdoor play areas for each age group. The nursery also features a separate roof terrace playground for pre-school children.

Meals and snacks are freshly prepared and the nursery has two separate kitchens, one of which is a kosher kitchen with a separate kosher chef.

Each room is divided by age groups where children are individuals and recognise when they are ready to make the next transition. The nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the children enjoy a self-generated programme, enhanced by the staff as they work to meet their own individual developmental goals. The nursery is well resourced and developed ensuring that all the areas of development relating to the EYFS are incorporated throughout.

This is such a fantastic nursery!
My son has benefited greatly thanks to the superb staff in the baby and toddler room. With such great activities and a great food menu. He certainly enjoys his days spent there. A special mention must go to the manager. She is so passionate about her role and the nursery,
nothing is too much trouble and she is so engaging. I really enjoy our chats about my son! From what I can see the manager is a credit to the company.

My son has been at Kids Planet and has been in all four rooms. He is always happy at collection and goes in with ease at drop off. The staff are great and friendly. Knowing most of the staff the ones from previous rooms still interact and are happy to see both myself and my son. He talks about the staff
at home and always asks to go in on his days off. The manager has been brilliant at keeping us up to date with all the changes throughout the challenging year with emails, notices and signs, I know she is doing everything she can to keep everyone safe, the staff have been brilliant and adapted well to keep children as happy and having an as 'normal' time as they can.

Really happy with the nursery all staff are so caring and supportive. Can't live without the nursery, cater for all my needs to be able to work but also all of my child's needs, they go above and beyond. My grandson has attended this nursery since he was 8 months old. I cannot express how incredible the nursery is, the manager is kind, caring and very informative. She has also helped keep all the staff and children safe throughout this testing year. The staff are always warm and friendly, always welcoming
and happy to see him at drop off and always informative when I pick him up.

An absolutely lovely nursery. The manager is an absolute gem, very well-spoken, professional and such a lovely person. I felt so comfortable talking to her and expressing my concerns about my baby. She helped a lot and I am so happy with the nursery.

My friend recommended this nursery and I was very happy. The staff and service are amazing, so caring and lovely. I love the parent zone app, this is such a useful tool. I can see everything my child is doing. I see lovely pictures of my child doing activities at nursery and I do them at home too.

was worried about Covid-19 but everything is so organised and clean which has given me a lot of reassurance. I'm really happy. I would recommend this nursery to everyone.

I have my child at the nursery and also my niece. Both really enjoy going and the team is so good and I fully trust them to do the best for my child. Over Covid and all 3 lockdowns the nursery/company have done a sterling job and provided top standards of care but also positive with everything at this

A lovely nursery, very spacious rooms and outdoor areas. My first child came to this nursery in 2015 and started in the baby room and moved in to all the age groups and graduated in preschool. The whole staff team are very good and this shines from the way they are with the children and parents. My
second child started in 2020 and again, is having a great experience and I am so happy with the care at the setting. The management team and the company are so lovely, whenever I need anything or have a query it is sorted straight away. Originally this nursery was recommended by my friend and now I would recommend to all. I want to say a big thank you. During this pandemic, the nursery staff have not been recognised enough but they are amazing and thank you to Kids Planet Day Nurseries - Higher Broughton.

Zaynab Qurashi

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Zaynab Qurashi is the Nursery Manager at Kids Planet Higher Broughton. Zaynab has 15 years of experience in early years in all age ranges and holds a BA Honours degree in Childcare and Education. She also has a very high knowledge in support with children with Special Educational Needs, and is qualified Mental First Aid trainer supporting children and adults. Zaynab also has a vast knowledge of the EYFS and the Birth to Five Matters and has been with the Kids Planet Team since 2015.
