Kids Planet Salford opened in August 2014 and was rated Ofsted 'Outstanding' in 2015. This purpose-built nursery is located on the corner of Eccles Old Road and Langworthy Road and in close proximity to Media City, Salford Quays and Manchester City Centre.

The nursery benefits from four open plan rooms with direct access to safe and secure outdoor play areas, offering children an exciting area in which to play outside. There is also a separate roof terrace playground for preschool children.

All children at the nursery have access to a sensory room, which offers children a relaxing environment in which to explore the different textures and light forms.

Meals and snacks are freshly prepared by a qualified nursery chef on the premises who caters for their individual needs. The chef operates a six weekly menu.

Access into the nursery is through a state-of-the-art finger print entry system; all internal doors are staff key fob operated and each room and outdoor area has CCTV. The nursery also has an intercom system as standard, ensuring that each child's safety is paramount at all times.

Both my boys attend Kids Planet, Salford. One is in the baby room and the other is in preschool. My eldest has attended since he was one year old. The staff are extremely helpful, friendly and amazing with the children. My youngest has a lot of food allergies and bad eczema and the staff have gone above
and beyond to accommodate his needs. I would not hesitate to recommend Kids Planet, Salford to my friends and family. I would also like to add that the management team in the office are always friendly and easy to approach and always make you feel welcome. My eldest loves the staff in the office and without fail in the morning and evening has to go in for a chat and tell them about his day.

My son has been going to this nursery since he was nine months old. He is turning four next week. Never in all this time have I had any concern regarding the care he has received at the nursery. He is loved and cared for by the staff as if he was their own and I feel safe in this knowledge. My little
boy struggles with change and being aware of this, the staff have always gone the extra mile to support him through periods of this in his life. His speech, number and letter recognition has come on leaps and bounds whilst in nursery. He always comes home a very happy little boy and has made lots of friends in a fun but educational environment.

I love this nursery, my child had been struggling to settle to any nursery. After 6 weeks she is so excited to go to nursery, she loves it. The staff are so patient, supportive and loving with the kids. I have seen such a great improvement with my child. The facilities are great she is never bored,
security is great. Honestly, all praises to them.

My son is really happy when he is in the nursery. He learns new words every day. He is starting to eat everything. When I collect him always somebody has time to tell me what he was doing during the day. He asks more about a member of staff than me so that says everything.

The overall care and activities seem to be satisfactory to my child when attending. However, just recently I am feeling that hand over when picking my child up is very vague. I am unaware of what they have done in the day or the learning plan. It seems they just want to tell you what they have eaten
and that's it then. Although my child is happy and enjoys playing with her friends, I am concerned now that she needs to be on a learning plan and at the moment I am unaware of this. The menu at the nursery is great it is well rotated and updated sometimes they eat better than we do at home.

I have every confidence in Kids Planet Nursery. My child is very happy, healthy and enjoys going. My child has made lots of friends and has gained confidence since starting and loves getting involved with the activities.

My little boy is 10 months and has been coming here for just over two weeks. He loves coming and doesn't even notice that we are going when we drop him off. He has settled in really well and has come on lots in such a short time. The staff are very lovely and nothing seems too much to ask. I like the
email updates about what is going on each month. I am very confident we made the right choice in picking here.

The magnificent team - I pay for quality in all fields which is the most important. My kids love Kids Planet Day Nurseries - Salford and I will recommend to anyone that asks. My Child goes to Kids Planet Day Nurseries - Salford and he loves it. He's come on so well since attending 2015.
The staff are all lovely and approachable. My child has a great bond will all his carers in the pre school.

My daughter has been attending Kids Planet Day Nurseries - Salford since she was 11 months. They are unbelievably fantastic at creating the right approach and environment on a personal level for each child. My daughter is now in tots and every day she has an epic adventure. From singing nursery rhymes,
reading, playing outside, mud kitchen mayhem, creating, building sand castles, sensory calming activities the list goes on and on. My daughter really enjoys it and loves the staff. Thankyou.

My son has been attending this nursery from 7 months at one day a week to full time now and every stage of care has been excellent. It is evident that each member of staff and especially his key person(s) takes a keen and personal interest in his welfare and development and their observation work and
guidance to his learning had been outstanding.
I am very happy with each aspect of his time at the nursery and it has been a joy to see his personality grow and how he is forming relationships and friendships with the staff and other children.

Kids Planet Day Nurseries-Salford is a great place for your children to play and learn. My son started attending in March 2017, the staff are very helpful and easy to communicate with. The indoor and outdoor play areas have lots going on for all the children. The food provided is also good with a
varied menu and special themed days.


I would definitely advise any parent or carer to visit to see the facilities.

Our daughter has come on leaps and bounds since attending Kids Planet Day Nurseries - Salford. We are always given a thorough run-down of what has been happening during the day, how much tea has been eaten and how many times her nappy has been changed.
The best testaments we can give to Kids Planet
Day Nurseries - Salford is two of our daughter’s reactions. When we pull into the car park and she realises where she is, she gets very excited indeed. Equally, when we have to drive past Kids Planet Day Nurseries - Salford on a day she is not due to attend and she realises where she is, she gets very upset!

I love my child going to Kids Planet Day Nurseries - Salford. She loves all the staff. They provide a great variety of dinners which are also fresh and nutritional. I am confident when leaving her that she will be looked after. They also have fantastic games and activities daily. And the staff are friendly

At first, I thought this nursery was so organised and slick with policies etc that they'd miss the simple but important bits of child care. Not true at all...the basic day to day care is personal, thoughtful and kind.

The management team are very approachable and if I have ever had a concern or query about anything, the door has always been open. They all are so friendly and made me feel that they had our best interests at heart.

Kim Brophy is the Manager. Kim holds a BA honours in Education and Inclusion and Early Years Teacher Status. She has worked in Early Years now for 14 years and has worked at Kids Planet for over 6 years, starting as a room leader and working her way up to Manager.
