Wentwood House Day Nursery

Highly recommend!

From day one, Wentwood House has been excellent and we are very glad we chose it. The staff are brilliant - caring, engaging and enthusiastic. Our children settled in very quickly and we were given clear guidance at all points along the journey. Access to the forest area is a real plus point, it's a lovely shaded space and great for the children to run around in. Occasionally, we have had to arrange late pickups at short notice, and Wentwood go out of their way to accommodate. Our children love going to nursery and that is testament to the wonderful staff who make Wentwood such a lovely setting.

I was also really pleased with the development reports we received on the app. The staff were very detailed in their observations. The management, room lead and my daughter's key worker were all wonderful and always happy to have an in-depth chat at the end of the day.

We have been very happy with the development she has made and the focus and structure tailored to her. Wentwood has also been great in accommodating her dietary requirements. All the staff and her key worker have been excellent. She will be very sorry to leave. Thanks, Wentwood!

I am looking forward to sending my second child there in due course.

The only negative to Wentwood Nursery is the car park 'wars' as it is used by the much larger sister nursery next door. Getting a car park space is at your own peril!

My children have attended Wentwood House Day Nursery for 18 months now and they love it. It was a breath of fresh air from their previous nursery. All the staff are lovely and really do care for the children. The children are always doing baking and crafts. They love the forest area and garden. The management is excellent and always keeps us informed. Also, the nursery has been really helpful with the occasional time I need to be flexible with days due to shift work. I would highly recommend Wentwood.

We would highly recommended Wentwood, my little boy started from 9 months old and has loved nursery! The staff are incredible and always make sure that he has the best day at nursery. My little one has thrived since being in pre school and his bond with all of the staff is so strong. They make sure that they fulfil all of his needs and work closely with the parents regarding next steps. The parent relationships are good and they always give a thorough hand over at the end of the day.

My daughter was part of Wentwood so had no decision to make when our son started there (September 2020). Continue to be very happy with the level of service and care my nearly 2 year old receives at the nursery.

Wentwood House nursery is just amazing! I found it really hard when I was faced with having to put my daughter into nursery, the thought of someone else looking after my child was scary and hard. However, when I went and looked at a few nurseries I knew Wentwood House was perfect for my little girl! The manager and staff there were so welcoming and friendly, the nursery itself just has a happy vibe and it’s clean, safe and well presented. I was given a great tour and I knew I’d be choosing this nursery straight away. Since my daughter has started, we’ve noticed it's had such a great impact on her! Not only has her speech come on leaps and bounds, she’s made friends, is confident with the other adults there and we can see she loves being there. The staff are incredible and we couldn’t thank them enough for all of their efforts. They go above and beyond to care for our child and meet her specific needs. The food she eats there is great and she’s well fed! Very happy with this nursery.

I can't praise the nursery enough - both my children have been very happy here. The manager runs a tight ship and I feel he provides great leadership for the team of staff; the changes he has introduced show a thorough and considered approach to managing the nursery. The staff are all very warm and welcoming; they are always receptive to hearing your thoughts and really work hard to meet any specific requirements. The forest area, garden and rooms inside the nursery provide a varied setting and the staff generate lots of ideas for activities. The overall feel is that the nursery provides a safe and nurturing environment. Our children have benefitted hugely from their time at the nursery.

My daughter has really settled at Wentwood House, I was a little worried due to a bad experience with a childminder. However, the manager and his team helped ease those hesitations. She enjoys coming to nursery every day.

Wentwood House Day Nursery is just so lovely and supportive! They really went the extra mile when settling our son in and were receptive to our input and proactive to help. We were flabbergasted that he settled so quickly, we thought it was going to be tough especially with the pandemic. Two members of staff make a good, strong leadership team and our son is fond of all the staff, especially one member of staff in particular. Its relatively small size lends itself to having such a nurturing ethos and it has proved to be a very positive and stable setting for our son and we are very happy with his progress! The outside spaces are also a real asset to the nursery. We would not hesitate in recommending Wentwood House Day Nursery!

It was such a pleasure having our daughter attend Wentwood House Day Nursery. The staff are professional, kind, caring and knowledgeable and we felt very comfortable leaving our daughter in their very capable hands. Our confidence in Wentwood grew through observing our child’s enthusiastic attitude in attending as well as seeing her progress in development which we noticed at home.

The team at Wentwood House have been very supportive during this past year. I have absolutely no doubt about how well our son is looked after and cared for whilst at nursery. He is always smiling and is happy on drop off and collection "that says it all". Thank you Wentwood House for ensuring our son is ready to move on to school and getting him prepared for this next journey.

We are quite happy with the nursery. Our children enjoyed going. They especially loved the forest. Good food, good changeover details.

It’s been wonderful to see Wentwood’s transformation through the changes and see our child develop and grow.

As with a lot of settings, ownership is key and Wentwood could do with a little TLC in terms of investment; I have no doubt this would be invested wisely with the current management team.

Wentwood House Day Nursery has been perfect for my son. He has attended the nursery since we moved to Fleet over a year ago and his progression has been incredible. The nursery has changed and developed since my son started and has an excellent array of activities for him to participate in. I get detailed feedback each day on how he has been and what he has been doing and I have not once picked up an unhappy child! Even on the weekends, he is keen to go to nursery as he enjoys his time so much. The staff are fabulous and so super caring about all the children there and you can tell they all love what they do. Wentwood has provided excellent care for all children who decided to return during a global pandemic and they have been incredible with making sure they adhere to government guidelines whilst making it feel as normal as possible to both the children and the parents. Thank you for looking after my son so well and if I have more children in the future, they'll be going here too!
