Our son has attended here from 2021 at just 9months old. The team have been nothing short of amazing with him. The homely environment and caring team have helped shape the little boy we have today. The forest area is an incredible addition to the nursery and has been his favourite place to explore.
The staffing team have always been happy to answer any questions and it is clear to see that they have a genuine interest to the children in the nursery. They all know our son, regardless of what room they work in. It is a real family feel.
Management are always quick to respond and are incredibly friendly and involved with the day to day at the nursery.
Our little boy is now leaving for his next adventure at school and is so ready for the next stage thanks to the care and commitment from all those that have cared for him.
Highly recommend!

From day one, Wentwood House has been excellent and we are very glad we chose it. The staff are brilliant - caring, engaging and enthusiastic. Our children settled in very quickly and we were given clear guidance at all points along the journey. Access to the forest area is a real plus point, it's a
lovely shaded space and great for the children to run around in. Occasionally, we have had to arrange late pickups at short notice, and Wentwood go out of their way to accommodate. Our children love going to nursery and that is testament to the wonderful staff who make Wentwood such a lovely setting.

From day one, I was really impressed with Wentwood. My daughter had five settling-in sessions, and it made me feel at ease that they wanted to make sure she was comfortable before starting. I had to complete paperwork prior to settling in with lots of detail about my daughter's routine, likes and dislikes,
etc. Again, it felt like they really cared and wanted to continue her routine as much as possible.
I loved the woodland and how much time outside the children spent. The activities always seemed to be creative and varied.
I was also really pleased with the development reports we received on the app. The staff were very detailed in their observations. The management, room lead and my daughter's key worker were all wonderful and always happy to have an in-depth chat at the end of the day.

Highly recommended. Wentwood House has been fantastic. Our daughter has been part-time since 9 months old and has continued until she is school age. She has loved her time there and has made some great bonds with the staff and the other children, very much enjoying the activities and environment, especially
the outdoor forest space.
We have been very happy with the development she has made and the focus and structure tailored to her. Wentwood has also been great in accommodating her dietary requirements. All the staff and her key worker have been excellent. She will be very sorry to leave. Thanks, Wentwood!

I have used Wentwood Nursery for a total of seven years for different children and can honestly say that we have never received as good a service as we have in the past three years (since the latest management change).
All staff now have an amazing relationship with my daughter and all our drop-offs
and pick-ups are greeted with a happy smile and a funny story of what she did that day. Hand-overs are thorough and all adults have a genuine interest in my child's activities outside of nursery as well as in nursery.
The only negative to Wentwood Nursery is the car park 'wars' as it is used by the much larger sister nursery next door. Getting a car park space is at your own peril!

Honestly, one of the best settings I have come across, amazing people, these guys helped my child's development more than I could ever explain. I couldn't be prouder of the boy my little man has become and this is in majority thanks to Wentwood House.
Even with the not-so-important stuff like administration
they couldn't be more helpful, they guided us through the tax-free child care along with 30 free hours at the relevant times etc.
I am looking forward to sending my second child there in due course.

My children have attended Wentwood House Day Nursery for 18 months now and they love it. It was a breath of fresh air from their previous nursery. All the staff are lovely and really do care for the children. The children are always doing baking and crafts. They love the forest area and garden. The
management is excellent and always keeps us informed. Also, the nursery has been really helpful with the occasional time I need to be flexible with days due to shift work. I would highly recommend Wentwood.

We would highly recommended Wentwood, my little boy started from 9 months old and has loved nursery! The staff are incredible and always make sure that he has the best day at nursery. My little one has thrived since being in pre school and his bond with all of the staff is so strong. They make sure

Wentwood House nursery is just amazing! I found it really hard when I was faced with having to put my daughter into nursery, the thought of someone else looking after my child was scary and hard. However, when I went and looked at a few nurseries I knew Wentwood House was perfect for my little girl!
The manager and staff there were so welcoming and friendly, the nursery itself just has a happy vibe and it’s clean, safe and well presented. I was given a great tour and I knew I’d be choosing this nursery straight away. Since my daughter has started, we’ve noticed it's had such a great impact on her! Not only has her speech come on leaps and bounds, she’s made friends, is confident with the other adults there and we can see she loves being there. The staff are incredible and we couldn’t thank them enough for all of their efforts. They go above and beyond to care for our child and meet her specific needs. The food she eats there is great and she’s well fed! Very happy with this nursery.

I can't praise the nursery enough - both my children have been very happy here. The manager runs a tight ship and I feel he provides great leadership for the team of staff; the changes he has introduced show a thorough and considered approach to managing the nursery. The staff are all very warm and
welcoming; they are always receptive to hearing your thoughts and really work hard to meet any specific requirements. The forest area, garden and rooms inside the nursery provide a varied setting and the staff generate lots of ideas for activities. The overall feel is that the nursery provides a safe and nurturing environment. Our children have benefitted hugely from their time at the nursery.

My son started at Wentwood House Day Nursery during the first lockdown, it could have been a really difficult transition for him due to the restrictions in place when dropping off.
The staff were amazing and he barely even got upset when handing him over in the morning!
He loves going to nursery
and actually runs and knocks on the door in the morning to be let in!
The staff are fantastic and are really invested in each and every child.

Wentwood House Day Nursery is just so lovely and supportive! They really went the extra mile when settling our son in and were receptive to our input and proactive to help. We were flabbergasted that he settled so quickly, we thought it was going to be tough especially with the pandemic. Two members
of staff make a good, strong leadership team and our son is fond of all the staff, especially one member of staff in particular. Its relatively small size lends itself to having such a nurturing ethos and it has proved to be a very positive and stable setting for our son and we are very happy with his progress! The outside spaces are also a real asset to the nursery. We would not hesitate in recommending Wentwood House Day Nursery!

Our child has been at Wentwood since August 2018 and it is fair to say the nursery has improved significantly with the current management team that arrived a year ago. In a short period of time, the new team turned the nursery into a more energetic and uplifting environment that you noticed at the door.
It’s testament to the hard work of the team by achieving a “Good” in the last Ofsted driven by the changes they swiftly implemented. We now have a monthly development plan for our child that supports their learning. There isn’t a day when our little one doesn’t come out all smiles and keen to return the next day. The amount of activities they do in a day is varied and summarised well for all parents to see.
During Covid-19 lockdown, we found it a lovely gesture for the manager to reach out to us and all families to see how we were doing and also sharing home learning tips.
It’s been wonderful to see Wentwood’s transformation through the changes and see our child develop and grow.

Wentwood House Day Nursery has been perfect for my son. He has attended the nursery since we moved to Fleet over a year ago and his progression has been incredible. The nursery has changed and developed since my son started and has an excellent array of activities for him to participate in. I get detailed
feedback each day on how he has been and what he has been doing and I have not once picked up an unhappy child! Even on the weekends, he is keen to go to nursery as he enjoys his time so much. The staff are fabulous and so super caring about all the children there and you can tell they all love what they do. Wentwood has provided excellent care for all children who decided to return during a global pandemic and they have been incredible with making sure they adhere to government guidelines whilst making it feel as normal as possible to both the children and the parents. Thank you for looking after my son so well and if I have more children in the future, they'll be going here too!

Previous reviews are accurate, the nursery suffered from poor management but has since seen stability in this respect and for what is now a prolonged period. With the new management in place the standards have raised rapidly and significantly - really night and day change. We were on the verge of withdrawing
our child but gave the new team a chance having met them and heard them out with regards to their future planning - and haven’t been let down.
Our child is extremely happy here, she loves the forest and all the activities they complete on a daily basis, her development has been remarkable (staggering in fact) and this demonstrates the value of having a good team, with a detailed plan, managed with passion.
As with a lot of settings, ownership is key and Wentwood could do with a little TLC in terms of investment; I have no doubt this would be invested wisely with the current management team.
