Woodberry Day Nursery (Peartree) Ltd

Since my daughter has been going to Woodberry Day Nursery (Peartree) we have seen a huge improvement in her learning, walking and especially her speech. She has come on leaps and bounds. In regards to the nursery itself; staff are wonderful, always providing relevant and important information and the nursery is overall 10/10 - highly recommended.

Our children are very well looked after at Woodberry Day Nursery (Peartree) Ltd and clearly love their time at school. Their key workers in particular have been wonderful, our older child has had five different in his time so far and each has been as caring and thorough as the last. The outdoor space is brilliant! Who does not love a pirate ship! Yes, a pirate ship! The staff are very supportive with advice and help regarding toilet training. The food is far better than my lunch! The staff up to and including the deputy manager are one and all excellent. Unfortunately, the setting manager has changed three times while we have been there and the last two were not helpful. However, the current manager seems to be such an improvement and has worked with us with great professionalism in dealing with dietary requirements. Hopefully, overall management has turned a corner. ‘Likely’ to refer because overall brilliant care of children but communication of management could be vastly improved.

My two-year-old son loves going to Woodberry Day Nursery. All staff are so passionate in what they do and they have always made sure that my son is happy when he goes. He has such a lovely bond with his key worker. We started during the Covid-19 restrictions and we were worried that it would take him a while to settle because he was at home for such a long time but when he started, the staff worked amazingly well to make him feel comfortable and happy. The detail they go into and the child observations are just excellent and it is so nice to read. They use an app where you can see what your child has been up to during the day and it is so nice to be able to talk to your child about it and show them photos after you collect them. My son has learnt so much since he started attending back in September 2020. The facilities are also top-notch, really spacious indoors and the best garden and play area. It is so nice to see my son coming out at the end of his session with a big smile on his face.

My child started during the latest lockdown and though I have nothing to compare it to, Woodberry Day Nursery have carried out safety precautions to the highest standard. I feel my child is safe going there in these challenging times. The staff are great and my child always has the best time with them. Would highly recommend it.

Handovers are clear and we receive regular updates via the Family app. Helpful, understanding staff make it a relaxed, fun nursery and preschool.

Choosing a nursery is a big decision and one that you won’t know is right until you’ve done it. I’m very pleased that we choose Woodberry, Peartree. The staff are friendly and informative, our child is educated and entertained and most of all, he’s happy. They have lots of activities and the app they use to keep us informed of what he does is good. It’s nice to see what he’s been up to.

Great nursery with brilliant facilities. Been very supportive of my daughter's needs. One lady always knows about my daughters day and obviously cares about her. It’s lovely to see such a passionate team.

Great facilities, dedicated, caring and lovely staff. We are very grateful to the staff for looking after our precious little one so well. Great learning place. I couldn’t have chosen a better nursery.

My daughter has been attending at the Peartree setting since July 2020 and has loved being there from day one. She has a lovely bond with her key carers and always comes out at the end of the day with a big smile on her face. She has developed so much since being there and continues to do so with the team's amazing support.

Woodberry Day Nursery Peartree setting is a fabulous nursery with a great team. Really supportive of the children in their learning and development and always keeping parents updated on progress. Offers children a wide range of activities and our daughter loves going to nursery every day!

Woodberry Day Nursery (Peartree) has been fantastic with my son. It is our first nursery and we could not praise the team enough. To be kept updated throughout the day has been very reassuring. At pick up and drop off the staff have been very welcoming and it is clear that they have been interacting a lot with my child.

Absolutely fantastic nursery. My little one started her journey at Woodberry Day Nursery (Peartree) when she was 10 months old and she is now 3. She looks forward to going every day that she is there and she also learns so much! The staff are always so friendly!

Our daughter loves it there. The staff are brilliant with her, they’re always happy and cheery and make her feel very comfortable, especially on the days where she doesn’t want to leave Mummy. They have implemented a plan to deal with Covid, and we feel very safe leaving her there. We would thoroughly recommend Woodberry.

Our son will be leaving for school in September after 3 very happy years at Woodberry. He has been very content there, he is sociable but doesn’t ‘dive right in’ and takes a while to adapt to change but they have been great with that. He has had a variety of keyworkers over the years but I think that goes with the territory and isn’t a reflection on Woodberry. They have all been lovely. The garden, in particular, is a wonderful space including the barn area where they can still be outside, even in the rain. I have no other nursery to compare Woodberry with, but would definitely recommend it.

I have good experiences with management too, their communication and helpfulness is great.

My son joined the nursery from March and now he enjoys attending it a lot. He learns quite a lot of skills at the nursery, such as eating by himself, drinking by himself, speaking some English words (we speak Chinese at home). He likes his carers and made friends there. He has become more confident after joining the nursery. We used to get face-to-face feedback from his carers in March, now we received written feedback every day via Tapestry. We're happy to get to know his day at the nursery and his development. The only thing that we notice is that he may need to be provided with more food. Other than this, the nursery is all perfect.

My son has attended Woodberry for over two and a half years. We are sad that it is almost time for him to leave due to starting school. He has learnt so much here not just academically but socially and life skills too. He has loved his time here and we are looking forward to his younger brother starting too.

Our little one has recently started at Woodberry, Peartree and we couldn't be happier with them. They provided an excellent settling in and introduction to nursery life, despite it being mid lockdown. They are kind and caring, supportive and approachable. Our little one toddles in every day and comes out just as happy (but exhausted from all the fun). Their handovers are great and you can ask them all sorts of questions or share any worries about your little one. It's a fantastic nursery with highly skilled staff.

Myself and my husband are so so impressed with how the nursery have dealt with the covid19 restrictions. Both of our boys, now one and a half and three and a half years old have really enjoyed being back at nursery with their friends and key workers. There have been lots of smiles and stories from the boys about their exciting days and we as parents have felt the boys are so safe and protected during these strange times. My child starts since he was 1.2 years, and almost is moving to pre-school now. Very happy with the staff, development, speaking the language very well, considering we don't speak English at home. Helped my little one with potty training I thought it would be impossible but they were very supportive and helpful! They are always trying to take kids outside and explore nature, and different creatures so to say. Lots of equipment to keep children entertained. My little one is always happy to go and never wanted to leave. We are Very happy with the support and development of my child!
