Woodberry Day Nursery (Peartree) Ltd

My son has been attending this nursery for over a year now. The nursery has worked hard and supported him to become a confident and sociable little boy who absolutely loves going into nursery each day. This has made me returning back to work so much easier. I am kept up to date with events through the day via the app and handovers happen at the start and end of each day. I am excited to watch him be supported by a fantastic team of staff as he grows.

The staff at Woodberry Day Nursery are warm, friendly, trustworthy and engaged. I am amazed by the amount of activities the staff put on for the children. It is a well-run organisation. The app is great and the updates throughout the day are brilliant. The facilities are excellent and safe. I truly appreciate the hard work and dedication the staff put into looking after our child at nursery.

I can’t fault this nursery at all. They’re so accommodating and attentive, and we feel like they generally care a lot about the children and their development. Our son loves it there, and we’re always kept so well informed with reports and photos. All the staff are wonderful.

My child has been going to this nursery for 10 months and he absolutely loves it. He is fed well and does so many fun activities. He can’t wait to get there in the mornings. The staff are so friendly and great with the children. It made the transition back to work so much easier.

Communication from the management/director team can be impersonal with a lack of clear explanation for decisions. I have raised this with them and I’m sure they will endeavour to improve this.

Cannot wait to enjoy the facilities to the fullest as we move out of the pandemic and I can get to experience the nursery more!

We have always been so impressed with Woodberry, whether it's the quality of provision, their caring nature, the dedication of staff or the fact our son runs in in the morning and is reluctant to leave in the afternoon! Nursery provision is obviously a large expense for a family but there are no hidden extra costs, like some other providers and I really do feel Woodberry provide good value for what we pay.

I cannot express just how extremely pleased with Woodberry Peartree I am. My daughter attended this nursery from 2016 to 2019 and it was an absolute no brainer that I would also enrol my son at the setting. Since my son has started I am so pleased with the nurture, care and education that he receives. The staff at the nursery go above and beyond for the needs of my child as well as accommodating me with any additional situations that have arisen. His speech has come on leaps and bounds since starting the preschool. His keyworker took on the notes from his speech referral and has created a plan for him that is working so well. So many of my family and friends have commented on his speech progression and it's thanks to you all.

Our boy has been at Woodberry three days a week since he was eight months old. Every aspect is covered with enthusiasm and good humour. They care about our son's development, they feed him well, they update us on his progress and he comes home in the evening happy and tired out! Would highly recommend.

My son has attended since he was nine months old, he is now three-and-a-half years old and has thoroughly enjoyed his time at the nursery. I receive regular feedback on his development during handovers and via the app which lets me know what he is doing at the setting and how I can help him at home. I would recommend this nursery to others. My son has thrived here.

My daughter has only been attending nursery for a few days but all of the staff at Peartree have been friendly, professional, accommodating and caring. I especially like the app which is very informative and saves me bothering my daughter's key person with too many questions!

The staff at Woodberry Peartree are very attentive, professional and caring. I leave my daughter every morning filled with so much confidence and ease that she will be taken care of properly. The staff go over and beyond and I am truly grateful for their care.

Words cannot express how happy and grateful I am to my son's key workers and everyone else who looked after my little boy. My son has eczema and they ensure that his cream is applied regularly. The app the nursery uses is amazing, his keyworker is great and she sends loads of pictures home of his busy day. Can’t thank you all enough for looking after my son so well.

My son and daughter are both at Woodberry and have been for almost a year now. We moved from another local nursery which was good but I have to say Woodberry has exceeded all my expectations. My kids are always happy to go and love the staff. The manager is always flexible and has helped me with dietary requirements, change of days etc. The thing which impresses me most about the nursery is that staff go above and beyond to create opportunities for learning and development and really put the children at the centre of everything they do. The food is also really thought through and full of goodness. They are always asking for feedback, input from the children, and ways to improve. We are so happy we chose Woodberry.

I found the nursery to be very cold and unhelpful when flexibility was needed. The management of the nursery is very poor, the focus is clearly monetary driven and not education. Child development reports are always late and therefore had very little relevance at the time of publishing.

We have nothing but praise for the staff at Woodberry Day Nursery (Peartree) Ltd. Our son joined later than originally planned due to Covid restrictions. We were worried about him settling in and being surrounded by children (having spent much of his life in lockdown due to us shielding). We needn't have worried. We were offered settling-in sessions and a named key worker to liaise with. Our son adores the staff (and the delicious-sounding food!). He has the best time there and we love getting the regular photos and updates about the activities that take place.

My little boy is due to start full days for four days a week next week. Being a lock down baby he has had to have a few extra settling in sessions. I cannot be more thankful for how amazing the team have been helping him to settle in. The deputy manager has not only put my mind at rest but some how managed to win over my little one, who hasn’t seen anyone other than myself, partner and nanny throughout lockdown. I knew I’d made the right choice choosing here.

Since my daughter has been going to Woodberry Day Nursery (Peartree) we have seen a huge improvement in her learning, walking and especially her speech. She has come on leaps and bounds. In regards to the nursery itself; staff are wonderful, always providing relevant and important information and the nursery is overall 10/10 - highly recommended.

Our children are very well looked after at Woodberry Day Nursery (Peartree) Ltd and clearly love their time at school. Their key workers in particular have been wonderful, our older child has had five different in his time so far and each has been as caring and thorough as the last. The outdoor space is brilliant! Who does not love a pirate ship! Yes, a pirate ship! The staff are very supportive with advice and help regarding toilet training. The food is far better than my lunch! The staff up to and including the deputy manager are one and all excellent. Unfortunately, the setting manager has changed three times while we have been there and the last two were not helpful. However, the current manager seems to be such an improvement and has worked with us with great professionalism in dealing with dietary requirements. Hopefully, overall management has turned a corner. ‘Likely’ to refer because overall brilliant care of children but communication of management could be vastly improved.

My two-year-old son loves going to Woodberry Day Nursery. All staff are so passionate in what they do and they have always made sure that my son is happy when he goes. He has such a lovely bond with his key worker. We started during the Covid-19 restrictions and we were worried that it would take him a while to settle because he was at home for such a long time but when he started, the staff worked amazingly well to make him feel comfortable and happy. The detail they go into and the child observations are just excellent and it is so nice to read. They use an app where you can see what your child has been up to during the day and it is so nice to be able to talk to your child about it and show them photos after you collect them. My son has learnt so much since he started attending back in September 2020. The facilities are also top-notch, really spacious indoors and the best garden and play area. It is so nice to see my son coming out at the end of his session with a big smile on his face.
