Ossett Childcare & Pre-School

Super helpful and flexible. Professional, capable staff and my child loves going. I really cannot fault this nursery and the service provided is just what parents need. Fair pricing and minimum fuss. Really good with my child.

Every experience we have had with the nursery has been a positive one. They are always on hand to talk to, and the in house app for parents is great. The practitioners really care about all thee children. I would definitely recommend this setting to everyone.

We didn't have a great first experience of putting our daughter into nursery but after a bit of research, we came across this one. They took on board all of our concerns and doubts and listened to our needs. Within a few weeks, she was settled into the 0 to 2 years room and seemed really happy. Socially we have watched her flourish and her development has vastly improved. They do so many activities on a daily basis and really think carefully about how it adds to their overall development. We were unsure about her moving up to the next section but we needn't have as she settled in very quickly. She has developed a good working relationship with her key person and other members of staff within her room. The standard of care and planned activities does not differ from room to room and is also evident in my daughters level of interest.

My little boy has attended here for 2 years and has come on so much. The staff are so personable and clearly dote on every one of their children, and seem to make every child feel like "their special one". As a teacher, I know the importance of early childhood development, and could not fault the nursery's provision in the slightest. They gave my son extra support when he needed it to help with a speech delay, and the foundations they've helped us as parents to lay will last a lifetime. They update the children's learning journeys regularly, which is easily accessed on a smart phone, and are always easily contacted during the day. They also update parents daily on what the kids have been getting up to, with photos - being able to see what my son is up to is invaluable, as it helps me miss him slightly less!

I couldn't recommend this nursery more highly - particularly as I viewed 7 different nurseries in the local area before picking this one, and none of the others came close.

My son has been attending Ossett Pre-school for 2 years now and I could not recommend it enough! The staff treat him like family and he is always so happy there.

It is a fun and comfortable learning environment, the children are encouraged to be independent where they can but they have a kind hand there to help if they need it. My son has become a very self-confident and outgoing little character and I credit that to Ossett Pre-school.

Love this nursery, my daughter settled in so well and feels very safe. I feel assured leaving her as I know she is very happy. I always feel the ladies are very friendly and my daughter loves them all. Great atmosphere.

A safe, secure environment for children of all ethnicities to feel welcome and special. As a mother of 4 Muslim boys, I cannot express enough how the leadership team have adjusted and made my child feel special. My son also has speech problems that staff have helped to develop. He's attended nursery for his second year now and he has improved in all aspects of learning following the EYES. Security of the building uses fingerprint recognition and CCTV cameras. Activities are all child based, friendly and helpful, exactly what a child needs before starting school at 5. I've never had any problems and staff are always updating me on my child's progress through parents evening, conversations and the learning book online. My only regret is that they don't have a school so my child doesn't have to leave!

Would absolutely recommend Ossett Childcare & Pre-School. Not one bad word to say. Fantastic staff. My child loves coming and we will both be sad when it's time to leave. I wish you all the very best and your all doing an amazing job.

After looking around many nurseries for my daughter, none compared to Ossett Childcare. My daughter has attended for about 18 months now and I have nothing but praise for the nursery. The staff are what make it, they are all approachable and all have a bond with my child. I leave her knowing she is safe and happy.

Since day one of my son starting Ossett Childcare & Pre School I have never looked back, The Manager and her team have been absolutely fantastic and I couldn't thank them enough for all their hard work, attention and professionalism. My daughter has been attending Ossett Childcare and Pre-school for around 12 months. She absolutely loves going and has done from the very first day! The girls are amazing and are very welcoming and just put you at ease as a parent! My daughter loves all the different activies and food options available. The staff the the nursery are awesome and would recommend to anyone! 5*

The nursery is very well equipped and always news things being added. The outdoor area has recently been extended and the kids have plenty to keep them occupied outside.

I am very pleased with the quality of service provided for me and my child the connection between the management key workers and myself is 100% the activities and level of teaching is excellent my child's progress as excelled during the period of been at Ossett Childcare the security works exceptionally well overall 10 out of 10

Fantastic caring and positive staff, great communication to parents. Plenty of creative play to keep the children engaged and a fab play area outdoors which is used all year round. Would have no hesitation recommending this nursery, I found out about it through a family member's recommendation.

I couldn't wish for my little boy to be looked after any better, he loves coming to play at nursery and has settled in really well thanks to all the staff in the baby room! I never worry through the day as I know he is well looked after.

Excellent nursery, staff amazing and welcoming, my daughter has gone since she was 11 months old and is now 25 month, she has loved going and since the very first visit and has grown with the same staff members through her learning journey and built really good relationships, I go to work and don't have any worry about the well-being of my little girl whilst she is in their care, the management team have always assisted thoroughly with any requests we have made, thank you Ossett day care

We are very happy with our child's progression at the nursery, his behaviour and attitude to learn and progress has greatly improved. He completes so many different activities at nursery and also the meals and snacks he has are faultless.
