Partou Little Stars Day Nursery & Pre-school

My daughter has been going to Little Stars Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Glossop for 10 months and I have nothing but praise for them. The baby room staff are especially good. I've always felt my daughter was happy and loved. She always has fun and her development has been fantastic. I look forward to picking her up and seeing what she's been up to that day! They do so much craft type play and I love that she's encouraged to be a bit messy! They are aware of allergies and have good systems in place to manage this. The outside space is lovely and the indoor sensory room is a fab space! I like that they go the extra mile and take them on little trips around the local area in their big pushchair! It can't be easy taking toddlers outside but they put the effort in and have the staffing ratios to do this. I don't hesitate to recommend them. A lovely team with an enthusiastic and proactive manager.

I have been so impressed with Little Stars Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Glossop since we moved to the area, the staff are amazing and really care about the children. They are always playing with them, singing songs, reading stories or in the sensory room whenever I arrive and you can tell it is a very caring atmosphere. Our daughter started in the baby room and settled really well, the staff there were so kind to her and really gave her the best start and since she has moved up to the next room, she is learning loads more skills and comes home dancing to the songs she has learned. I highly recommend this nursery.

I recently moved my two children here from another local nursery and I wish I had sent them here first. Little Stars is a fantastic nursery! My children settled so well, the staff are super friendly and experienced. I feel so relaxed sending my girls here knowing they are well looked after and kept safe. They have correct ratios in each room and CCTV. Little Stars always keep me updated on how my girls are doing with their development and how they socialise with other children. I feel both of my girls have come on so much since being here and are so independent.

My son loves going to this nursery. The staff are fantastic with him and it makes dropping him off a lot easier for me knowing he enjoys it and looks forward to going every day. He especially loves the day trips out !

Little Stars is a lovely, welcoming nursery and my daughter loves her preschool class and the educators in there. They have a great range of activities and learning exercises for all age ranges. The outdoor space is conducive to learning and exploring physically and mentally.

Very good nursery with friendly and welcoming staff and good food. My little one likes nursery and she is always happy to go there. She can do a variety of things and every day is different for her. Highly recommended.

We were worried that our daughter wouldn’t want to be left at the nursery after being with us 24/7 during the lockdown. She had never been away from us before. But, surprise surprise, she absolutely loves Little Stars and adores the staff. She gets so excited when we park in front of the nursery. Even though we (parents) cannot go inside and experience the nursery ourselves at the moment, I think our daughter’s happiness and behaviour is a testament to the awesomeness of the nursery and its staff. The online app helps us get a glimpse of the nursery life (which looks really fun!), and the food children are offered is healthy, varied and made on-site. Big thumbs up!

Great setting and lovely team. My children enjoy attending nursery and really bond well with staff. Love seeing pictures of what they have been up to during the day and hearing about the different activities and foods they’ve experienced.

My three year old has attended since she was 1. She's currently in the nursery room and is coming into her own. The staff are great, and she now looks forward to going every day (2 days a week). Lots of outside play and activities are themed to the seasons and current events.

My little boy attended Little Stars when it first opened, and my 18-month-old girl is now there. Both absolutely love the nursery and have been happy and have thrived there thanks to the friendly, knowledgeable staff and the multitude of learning opportunities (both indoors and out on the pirate ship and in the sandpit!) offered.

We are so happy with Little Stars nursery and the staff. Would highly recommend this nursery! Our little girl has come on so much in the last few months since she started there, she’s made lots of friends and loves the staff!

They have also been supportive of using cloth nappies and kept us up to date about when they could be reintroduced in line with infection control and prevention guidance for covid.

Both of my children have attended this nursery, my daughter is now in school, but my son is currently in toddlers. They both are doing great with speaking, numbers and coming along lovely. They are both very confident children since attending the nursery, which I wanted. My daughter is currently not behind in any subjects at school, and I do believe it’s because she attended Little Stars prior to going to school. The meals they serve are really good, and I love getting updates on the app about what my son is up to while I’m at work. The staff are very welcoming and always have time to talk about any concerns or questions you have.

Everyone at Little Stars has been so welcoming from the start. My little boy settled into nursery life very easily and now is happy to wave me off when I drop him off in the mornings! It really puts my mind at ease.

The little stars staff have really put me at ease when putting my 7-month old into the baby room. He seems to really enjoy himself and seems to be comfortable with the staff. They have also been really good at catering to my baby's dietary requirements.

I'm very happy with the care provided and my child has always enjoyed coming to nursery - he has a great relationship with the staff.
