Our child has been at the nursery for six months now and has grown in confidence so much. It is clear that our child enjoys their time there. The staff are absolutely lovely and so helpful, it is such a fun, loving, playful environment. The food is mostly great, especially the alternatives offered,
some of the meals could be changed however as they are not a big hit.
It would be great to see more plant life in the outdoor space.

My four year old daughter has been here since she was 2 years old, she has really progressed and come out of her shell. The staff are friendly and helpful. They update you at the end of the session on the day your child has had, and they upload pictures and meals on the parent app. I feel that my daughter
is cared for and happy, she sometimes doesn't like going in and they make her feel comfortable once she's in the pre school room. They are currently developing skills needed for infant school in September, my daughter is learning how to spell her name and recognising numbers and letters as well as adding and subtracting. The rooms are always clean, tidy and safe. The outside garden area is fantastic, this is where my daughter has the most fun she loves to be outside playing in the sand pit or digging in the mud.

Our little one has been going to Woolston YMCA Nursery for just over a year now and it’s the best decision we made moving him from a childminders. He is now in pre-school and the change in him is amazing. He’s more confident, he has made friends and most importantly he loves going.
Everyone there
are lovely and shows they have a passion for their jobs and caring for little ones around them. We could not have asked for a better nursery/pre-school!

Amazing nursery, the staff are approachable and friendly. My son loves going on his days to see what fun activities he can do with his friends. Moments are put up nearly daily and how much he has eaten on his lunch. Always a good handover when picking up and always asked on drop off how he has been
on the days he hasn't been at nursery.

Amazing nursery where my daughter has really flourished. The staff are so helpful and kind! From the first day she started, they've done everything they can to make her feel happy and safe. I'm very glad she has started her life here.

My daughter attended YMCA Woolston a couple of years ago and now my son is attending the toddler room. With both of them, I was very happy and have had no major problems. The staff has always been very friendly and caring. I am amazed when I see my son doing/ saying different things. I highly recommend
this nursery!

My son joined YMCA in the preschool room and he loves it! He has been very settled from the start and the staff are always welcoming and friendly. I have been impressed with the care he receives whilst at nursery. We are kept up to date with what he has eaten and any activities he has done. He will
miss being at YMCA when he moves on to school!

I'm very happy with all aspects. Very kind and friendly staff, always take care of my 3 years old son. Our child is always happy to be there and wants to come back to play. Also very good communication with the office.

The staff are really good and take good care of my child, the way they manage and treat him I really like. The environment is good and clean, whenever I visited they keep the kids busy with good activities so they learn well.

My kid enjoys so much there at YMCA. The staff are all very nice and kid-friendly.
Though I think it’s a bit dirty every time when my son comes back but he just loves going there everyday even during the weekends.

Amazing nursery. Very clean and safe. The staff are so friendly and the children all have one-to-one all day long. Always welcomed with a smile and the handover is very professional and not rushed. 10 out of 10. Would highly recommend it.

YMCA is a great place my children to be in.
A lot of funny and educational games that give children a chance to explore and learn about the world around them.
Children could go out for a walk or to the library to read some books as well.
The staff are very friendly, gentle and kind and provides
detailed handovers.

We nearly always bring our child late but there is always someone to greet him and take him in almost instantly. I am confident that all the staff actually enjoy looking after the children.
I feel like the play areas could sometimes benefit from a more rigorous cleaning policy. Overall we are both

YMCA Woolston is an incredibly spacious setting that my child enjoys attending. The staff are exceptional and have a genuine love for the children that really shines through. The special educational needs support both my child and I have received after raising concerns has been beyond anything I have
heard of from parents of other settings. I don’t have a single thing I would change about this nursery.

Our youngest child started at YMCA Nursery in the baby room after a challenging period of disjointed childcare after our regular childminder was taken ill. This period of disruption had exacerbated issues around daytime sleeping, with all its various knock-on effects. The team at YMCA could not have
been more helpful in getting them settled, taking the time to understand what might work best, being proactive with sensible suggestions, and being really reassuring of two parents who after all the disruption were also pretty stressed.
Our child loves being at YMCA. A lovely space, with loads to do, lots of time outside, and most importantly lots of love, care and attention from the staff. On the practical side the systems they have in place for drop off/pick up are practical, the communication when there is an issue or query is really good, our child enjoys the food, and the admin team are really organised and helpful if you need to book extra sessions.

My daughter has attended this nursery for the last three years, she absolutely loves going and never seems to want to leave when I go to collect her! The staff are so kind and helpful, they always make you feel welcome and nothing is too much to ask, highly recommended to anyone looking for childcare.

Being first-time parents, we were very apprehensive about leaving our little girl when going back to work!
We are so thankful for the team at the YMCA, especially the baby room! We trust them with our child three days a week and they have really helped her become the little lady she is today!
