Tiddlywinks' 4th Nursery in Manchester is located at Clayton Sure Start Children’s Centre and is carrying on the tradition of providing high-quality, child centred day care for children aged from four months up to school age.

The nursery provide 15 hours free early education for two and three-year-olds through Government funding and these sessions enable children to develop their language, build relationships with their peers and provide the children with a foundation of learning within the EYFS to prepare them for school and life.

A key-carer system enables the nursery to ensure a planned curriculum is tailored to the needs of an individual child. Key-carers ensure that each individual child is supported on a day to day basis and aims to develop a bond with the child and help them to feel safe, protected and cherished while they are away from home.

Nursery environments are designed to be stimulating, encourage the children to explore, take calculated risks and provide them with time and space to consolidate their learning.

Tiddlywinks recognise parents as the first educators for their children and work alongside them to support their child’s learning. Staff are always available to speak to parents/carers who may need advice, guidance or have any concerns with regards to their children.

My granddaughter has settled extremely well in the nursery and is receiving excellent care from all the staff. They are always happy and welcoming, which makes a very pleasant environment, and I always feel comfortable when dropping off or picking up my granddaughter.

I have had 2 children attend this nursery over the last year, both in separate rooms but both receiving outstanding care. I feel as though my children's key workers really try to understand them and their individual needs. (They're two very different girls, and get treated as such.) The nursery is such
a kind and welcoming place for parents and children. You can tell they all take pride in their job roles as it shines through to the little details they put into your child's day. I feel as though the nursery has done an outstanding job in dealing with the effects of the current pandemic and I can't thank everyone enough for making the nursery feel like a safe place for our daughters.

Overall, I'm satisfied with the care provided for my little girl. Every day is very different, depending on the staff on duty. Some of them are more involved than others. The key workers we have are good and involved, however, my little girl's developmental problems - I'm not happy that wasn't noticed
much earlier.
The toilets every so often are smelly, not clean, and kids haven't got paper towels very often.

I am really happy that my daughter is here.
She has a good relationship with her carers.
She has learnt a lot. She always mentions what happens.
Sometimes, would be great if somebody checked her after she uses the toilet. We have had quite a lot of issues with that.

I love this nursery and since my son started when he was one I was nervous. My worries were soon cleared up. This is because of the wonderful staff and care that is given to the children. All staff have been very kind and have helped my child settle into the nursery. The daily updates are great. It
is always nice to see what they have been doing during the day. There is good communication between home and nursery and feedback is very useful. I am very grateful to all staff who have been amazing. Thank you!

Always been made to feel very welcome from day one, the staff in the baby room are fantastic as are management. My son initially struggled with the new routine of nursery life but now he loves it and is always happy when I pick him up. Very happy that I picked this nursery.

The staff are amazing, always providing a high standard and friendly atmosphere. The teaching and learning is amazing. My daughter will come home and tell me what she has been learning about in the setting. She is eager to go every day and will ask 'is it nursery today?'.

Have always liked the way staff have been taking care of my daughters. They are very professional and caring. I'm happy to see my child always happy when I come to pick her up at the end of the day, she is always smiling.
With two particular staff members, I've always put my trust in their hands as
they are second parents to my children, as they get to spend more time with them while I'm at work.
