Fennies Bromley, Blyth Road

Our son has been at the nursery since he was nine months old, and we genuinely wouldn't want him anywhere else. The manager is amazing - calm, welcoming, and clearly cares deeply about the children and their wellbeing. Every member of the team is kind, supportive, and attentive, and it's a comfort knowing he's in such good hands while we're at work. The food is excellent (we often joke that he eats better than we do!), and he genuinely loves being there. He loves the staff just as much as we do!

Fennies was perfect for our first child. Knowledgeable staff, friendly demeanors, clean facilities immediately set our minds at ease. Settling in, thought tough, was easier than expected and our daughter's primary carer was a godsend. Over the time with Fennies, we got to know each carer quite well: each had different personalities but all had the common themes of openness and warmth that made our daughter comfortable. We'll miss everyone here and thank them all for helping raise our girl.

My son has been in Creators room for 6 months, supported by his Key Person who is just wonderful. The rest of the adults, three in particular and the rest of the staff are also brilliant, he's always excited to tell us about his day with them. Everyone at Fennies have been so supportive of his special educational needs, really going the extra mile to ensure he's included in the Creators room

Creators have been amazing, especially two ladies in particular. They're kind, caring and really go the extra mile for the children in their care. My child has special needs and therefore needs extra help. This has always been given thoughtfully and with lots of love. Thank you

Overall the nursery is good, they give the kids nutritious food and the staff is always trying to develop their learning, there's always things to improve for example the management needs to be more flexible and use more common sense. Also the staff doesn't look very happy and hence why they have a lot of turnover, but I understand this is due to rules and regulations from above management

Amazing nursery! The whole team is fantastic, but especially the Nursery Practitioner. So many activities and things to do for the children, great balanced meals with plenty of fruit and veg and everyone is so friendly and helpful.

My toddler is so happy at Fennies! All of the staff are so friendly and attentive, thinking of absolutely everything and they made the settling-in process seamless. They are so informative and knowledgeable and the app is completed extensively daily. All of the facilities are great - always clean and tidy, lovely garden which the children are able to use all the time, lots of brilliant educational and fun things to do daily that are always changing.

Special events all the time and it really does feel like a little community with lots of helpful (optional) online classes. Always enjoy the photos and videos of fun events from mini Olympics to afternoon tea! The food is brilliant - the two chefs are lovely -providing a huge range of healthy food with lots of varied fresh fruit and veg. They are especially careful to assist with my son's medical needs which is so reassuring. Everyone is brilliant but a special shout out to his (key persons). Thank you!

My daughter spent two fantastic years at Fennies before moving on to big school. From day one, we never felt like she was just a number, and the staff genuinely cared about the children. Her teachers, were always kind and encouraging, keeping us updated on my daughter's progress and celebrating her achievements. The nursery was always clean, and my little one was only sick twice in two years! The menu was varied and nutritious, and the daily updates through their app reassured us about her meals, outdoor play, and activities. Each week they had some exciting events, from art sessions to visits from firefighters. We'll always remember Fennies fondly and highly recommend it to any parent!

I think the Fennies Nursery is great, I love how the staff interact with my child and the support and encouragement he is given. my son loves garden Time at nursery and enjoys coming into the nursery and spending time with his friends and staff.

Our daughter absolutely adores her time at the nursery. Each day brings a new and exciting activity, and we've been amazed by how quickly she's progressing. It's heartwarming to see her thrive in such a nurturing environment, thank you to all the staff at Fennies!

I wholeheartedly recommend Fennies Bytlh Road to parents seeking a nursery that prioritizes the happiness and well-being of every child in their care.

My only negative is the opening time of 7:45 am. I wish the nursery could open at 7:30 am without an extra charge instead of 7:45.

So thankful for all of the staff for making my son's transition to nursery so smooth. He loves the staff in his room, and it makes it easier for us knowing that he loves being there. The app they use to update you gives the perfect amount of information and means you can easily contact management or staff in his room without having to call up. He has come on leaps and bounds in terms of his movement (almost walking!) and his speech in the few short months he has been there. We have even requested he attends another day in the week because we think this will be best for him in his development.

The manager at Fennies, during a very difficult time in my daughter's life, when she had major surgery, he went completely above and beyond to make sure she was looked after, there was a care plan in place, and she had staff appointed to look after her. And was happy to move nursery days around for us, with last minute doctor's appointments. He is very much beloved by all the parents, as are the staff at Fennies. Working tirelessly.

I have no words for the amazing place that Fennies is and have been for my daughter. Fennies is a place that is like home to my toddler. Most of all it provides an excellent service for my child and makes me and us feel safe and to trust my daughter is receiving great care. I would like to massively, thank the new manager he is natural to care and provides what is best for us and especially for my toddler. He has always attended to her and our own needs. He is an excellent manager and my family feels ever so lucky to have him there. Thank you once again for a great service and care you provide.

I have had total peace with my child being in their care over the years. Really sad to say goodbye.

My child started at Fennies Bromley in April 2021 and I have been so impressed with the settling in process! My child was only 8 months when I went back to work so I was really anxious, but the team did all they could to help ease us in. The communication and updates are so helpful for an anxious Mum like myself, the app has been great, making it so easy for me to keep up to date on my baby's day. I could hardly get my baby to nap at home and he naps regularly (sometimes dummy free!) at Fennies. We had only really started to introduce 3 meals when he started nursery and he eats incredibly well, even better than at home. The meals are interesting and cover a range of flavours and textures and he really enjoys them. His development seems to have come on leaps and bounds and he's become such an adventurous baby. I can't thank the team enough for helping us to get into a new routine as a family and they've been nothing but supportive and helpful, I really can't recommend Fennies Bromley enough!

I just love dropping her off every morning and watching her cuddle her teachers with a big smile ready for the day ahead.

Fennies has been fantastic for my daughter and us. The staff are really friendly and I can see genuinely care and enjoy every child. I'm also impressed with how they know every parent. The staff in her baby room are lovely and have really helped her develop, we love seeing new skills she's learnt from nursery! The food is really varied and our little one seems to enjoy it and eats better for nursery than us! The communication from the team has been informative and we (and grandma!) love the app updates. Ultimately, our daughter can't wait to go to nursery, is always excited to see her team and comes back happy and full of energy from a great day! She's happy there and we're happy with the care and attention she gets and so I would definitely recommend Fennies.

Like all mummy's returning to work after having a baby, I was very concerned about leaving my daughter at nursery at the tender age of only 10 months. However, our fears were completely allayed once we met the manager of the baby room during the settling-in period. As a mum herself she completely understood our worries and addressed everything we could have possibly needed to know. Fennies has been brilliant for our little girl, who loves attending and always partakes in fantastic creative activities while she is there. That is coupled with lots of play time, dancing, reading and singing. The babies also learn sign language and are encouraged to take part in activities that celebrate cultural moments like Black History Month. The menu is fantastic, especially for my daughter who follows a primarily plant-based diet. The variety and flavours of each meal is second to none, and all the options are healthy and nutritious. I am really happy with Fennies and their approach.
