Abigail's Day Nursery

My youngest has started recently and the staff have been so supportive and helpful with settling in, they have accommodated my many phone calls and have reassured me and supported us in this transition. My older child also attended Abigail’s and absolutely loved it, I couldn’t have asked for anything more than knowing my child is happy and cared for throughout the day.

The staff are all so lovely and very approachable. All go above and beyond with the children.

It's a testament that he goes running in every time. Abigail's is wonderful.

Both my daughter and son have attended/attend Abigail’s and had fantastic experiences there. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They keep in regular contact and update often. There are so many activities for the children to take part in and each week they come home having experienced or created something new. They also sing lots of songs and play in the garden as often as possible as well. The staff still remember my daughter and often ask after her, even though it’s been almost four years since she attended as well. I would highly recommend Abigail’s to anyone looking for a nursery for their little ones.

I don’t have enough words to recommend Abigail's Day Nursery. I used this nursery for the first time in 2015 and they’ve been so amazing, helping me and the baby settle in the new environments and keeping me updated with my child’s progress. I’ve returned to this nursery in 2022 with my boy and helped him settle (he is a Covid baby), he was very shy and wasn’t happy to be surrounded by new people, but the staff gave time and love to help him. He is a new child. Thank you very much!

Abigail’s Day Nursery is a fantastic nursery. The staff are so accommodating and go above and beyond with every child. The activities my child is provided with are varied and engaging, with lots of lovely keepsakes to come home with. My child loves going to nursery!

Both of my children attended/attend Abigail’s and we’ve had a wonderful connection to the nursery for over 4 years now. Leaving your child with someone new is daunting but from day one I have always felt my children have had the best care possible, nursery to them is a home from home. The wonderful staff make each day special and it’s amazing seeing the updates throughout the day. I adore the way Abigail’s treats each child as an individual and caters to their needs/personalities and truly helps the children to shine and grow. My eldest learnt so much there which put him in good stead for school and my youngest is now coming home each week having learnt something new, it’s truly the best nursery!

My child attends Abigail's Day Nursery for two days a week and has a fab time. The staff are great, friendly, very responsive to questions and proactive in asking whether we would like them to adapt routines as needs change (length of naps, move from bottles to cups etc). We're given a detailed overview of their monthly planning which always includes alot of variety linked to a core theme. We're also updated through the Famly app with their meals, naps, nappy changes and photos of their day. They have indoor and outdoor activities and also take kids out on mini-trips. There's alot of tie in with national events, most recently Children's Mental Health Awareness Week and Random Acts of Kindness Day, where they took the kids to give out presents and little bunches of daffodils to the shops and people's home which was lovely. It's a great fit for us and makes us feel a part of the community.

Very happy to recommend Abigail's Day Nursery. My daughter has been going since she turned 1 and the staff are outstanding, we have been so impressed with how the staff are so personable and really get to know the child. Communication with parents is very good and the activities covered are both educational and fun, you feel like your child is having a good all rounded experience with plenty of fun and creative activities. Food is nutritious and staff go out of their way to ensure your child gets the support they need and all their needs met in a person centred way. Brilliant location too.

My daughter has been going here just under a year. She loves it, always gets to do fun activities. I always get an update on her day when I pick her up, and the staff are always really friendly. They use an app to update you through your the day on food, naps and toileting, and you get updates on the activities they are doing and some pictures.

Amazing nursery definitely worth the price you pay for it. The girls and managers go above and beyond and make you feel really comfortable. If I have any issues you can contact them via the app or in person. They take the kids out and do all sorts of fun activities, having the ice cream man round. Or even the local police to visit the children too.

Can't speak highly of Abigail's. My daughter is currently in the baby room. She settled well after a few months. The staff have been great at listening to us and I feel like a team with the staff in helping her grow and learn. They keep you well informed through the app. They do lovely activities with the children. I can't wait to see her grow through the rooms.

I highly recommend Abigail's to any parent looking for childcare. The staff are amazing and all have a great rapport with all children in the setting, the environment is very child friendly, effective and stimulating and the children are always provided with fantastic learning experiences and opportunities, also not forgetting catering staff! My son is a real 'foodie' and can't wait to see what exciting, healthy meal the chef is cooking each day!

When I was looking for a nursery for my first child, Abigail's was the only nursery that I visited where I instantly felt comfortable and knew I’d be happy for him to attend. All the children looked happy and the nursery was spotless. The staff were all really friendly and I liked that they do so many activities with the children. Second son now attends and is always happy to go. The staff are amazing and he often talks about them at home. 10000% recommend!

I can't recommend Abigail's Day Nursery enough! My two eldest boys attended Abigail's Day Nursery three days a week from the age of one, until they started nursery school and for a short while we also used their wrap around service which was fantastic. My youngest who is eighteen months is currently there and has been since he turned one, I had no doubt in my mind that he would also go to Abigail's Day Nursery once I returned to work. The staff are fantastic, so friendly and caring. I feel so happy leaving my little one with them as I know he is well looked after and are very happy that he is having lots of fun. The facilities are great, such a lovely building with lots of space both indoor and out, it is a great location too. The food is all homemade and very nutritious. My youngest has food allergies with egg, gluten and wheat and nothing has been too much trouble for them in terms of his dietary requirements. The management and cook were more than happy to ensure he has a varied diet while ensuring they met his needs.

Abigail's Day Nursery has been absolutely outstanding with looking after my child in this pandemic. I have felt that I have been able to leave my child safely at the nursery through these tough times. My little one always comes home with a smile and says how he has had such a lovely day there. I would 100% recommend this nursery to anyone I know and the staff are all amazing.

My daughter has been attending Abigail’s since she was 10 months old and absolutely loves her time there. Staff are fantastic and show so much care and attention to each and every child. The range of activities my daughter undertakes daily are superb. My daughter has recently joined the Owls group (preschool) and is relishing each and every day. The Owls group is also great preparation for when school begins. I am extremely happy that I chose Abigail’s for my daughters early years' childcare. I certainly feel I have given her the best start. The nursery offers outstanding communication to parents and nothing is ever too much. The recent addition of the app has been amazing as I can check on my daughter and get insights into her day whilst I am working. The care and dedication shown at Abigail’s is second to none and we will all be extremely sad when the time comes for my daughter to attend full-time school.

I first used Abigail's Day Nursery for my son when it first opened in 2013. He absolutely loved it there and stayed until he was of school age in 2017. When I had my daughter in 2019, there was no question as to where she would be going to nursery. She has been there since December 2019 and enjoys every minute! The staff are all lovely! They’re so kind! My daughter absolutely loves it there and I do not worry about her while she’s there as the staff are just so amazing with her! I can’t recommend Abigail's Day Nursery enough! Thank you ladies for everything!

My daughter currently attends and loves her days at the nursery, she's always busy doing a wide range of activities and bringing home lots of crafts. It's a fab nursery with lots of space and a lovely garden. The staff are amazing and so caring.
