Abigail's Day Nursery

Both of my boys have attended Abigail's- it's such a warm friendly and homely environment. All the girls that have looked after them have been lovely and so caring, always letting me know what they have been up to. My youngest always comes home talking about them and all of his friends. They do really cute activities with them. He always comes home clean and I have always felt reassured that he is receiving the best care.

Abigail's is an amazing nursery! My daughter has been going there for nearly a year and she runs in with the biggest smile on her face each morning. She has come on leaps and bounds being here and the staff are absolutely fantastic. 100% recommend this nursery!

We love Abigail's and cannot recommend it enough. My little one has settled in so well and is thoroughly happy to go in all day and has bonded with so many wonderful staff members. There's always lots of thoughtful indoor and outdoor activities and my child comes home excitedly telling us what they have done and learnt that day. The app is regularly updated and I enjoy seeing what they've eaten, I know we'll all be so sad when they graduate next year! There's never been any mistakes or issues with invoices, days covered, wraparound or any management concerns and whenever I call to amend anything, the manager helps me really quickly and is so friendly. Massive thanks to the staff, especially Alicia, Sarah, Kirsty (x2), Becky, Lucy, Katie, Shawna and Chelsea (sorry if I've forgotten anyone's names!) for all their hard work, care and love they give the children and also to the chef for her brill and balanced menu choices.

I just want to give huge praise to all of the staff at Abigail's. My son has been with them since 10months old and will be leaving this summer as he moves up to reception. Throughout his years at Abigail's everyone has been warm, welcoming and very nurturing. The ladies are so attentive and have a created a lovely setting which my little one has thoroughly enjoyed attending and thrived in. They go above and beyond and put on the most special events such as the Christmas nativity, graduation and trips. You ladies are amazing and myself and son will miss you dearly!

Can highly recommended Abigail's. My kids have flourished there, and are always excited to go each morning. Particularly good points are the communication with the nursery, the food provided and the lovely staff.

My son completely adores this nursery, when he first started he was in his little shell not talking much, the staff at this nursery have brought him out of that shell and now won't stop talking my head off he loves all the staff as so do I he enjoys every minute there couldn't thank the nursery enough for what they do for the children

So reassuring to parents leaving their children in their care. Updates constantly on their app keeps you up to date to know what they're up to with their day, and being sent photos is invaluable. Updates when you pick them up at the end of the day are always lovely to hear, and they seem genuinely to care about your child. Couldn't ask for anything more, and our son has come on so much since being there over the last 3 months

Both my boys have gone to Abigail's and they've been nothing short of amazing. All of them have been a great support to both of my children over the years and I couldn't be more grateful for the support from them. Going to miss you come September! But thank you all for being so brilliant!

Abigail's is a truly fabulous nursery. All of the staff are extremely warm and friendly and my little one couldn't be happier there. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are brilliant and they do so many fun activities with the children. We've already signed up our second child to start there next year and I'm sure he'll thrive as much as our first has!

We cannot recommend Abigail's enough. They have been absolutely fantastic throughout my little one's time there.

The staff are amazing and couldn't be more caring and helpful. My little one has thrived in the year she has attended and was devastated to leave.

The food and facilities they offer are perfect for young children and really gives them a full experience of indoor and outdoor learning. My little one has learnt so much and has really excelled with the support of all of the staff.

For a first time experience with a private nursery, Abigail's couldn't have been any better, I would recommend to anyone.

Our daughter has been attending Abigail's since she was 9 months old and she absolutely loves it. She always comes home tired but happy, and it's lovely that we get photos of her during the day to see what she's been up to. Being at nursery has undoubtedly helped her social development and increased her confidence, and the staff members form real bonds with the children meaning that you can trust your child feels safe and supported.

Our only downside would be the price - but this is no reflection of the nursery as they do keep it as low as possible. It would be good if Wales would follow the same as England's recent free childcare scheme.

Abigail's Nursery has enabled my son to flourish! He cannot wait to go to the 'big house' every morning and play with his friends. He loves the staff, and as soon as they open the door to welcome him his smile says it all!

Both of my children have attended Abigail's, and I simply wouldn't have put them anywhere else. The staff knows all the children, even those they don't directly work with, and you can tell they genuinely care for the children. They are focused on providing the best learning experiences for the children throughout the year, providing additional experiences such as Father Christmas visits, festival activities, and sponsored walks. The rooms are a child's dream, with lots of equipment to explore and play with.

This nursery is excellent. All staff have made my daughter feel so welcome. Her speech and interaction with other children have developed well. There is an excellent variety of food. All staff from key workers to management and everyone in between are lovely. I highly recommend Abigail's nursery.

I'm a new(ish) mum who grew up without any children around, ever. I feel so clueless and out of my depth most of the time, but I know my son loves his time in Abigail's. His speech has improved so much, and he is always excited to go. Being beside the train station is fab too, both for travel and he loves to wave as the trains go by!

I highly recommend. My baby was 7.5 months old when he started attending Abigail's nursery. He had no sleep routine and didn't take a bottle so I was very worried. The nursery staff saw me a few times before he started, making sure I was not too worried and that they would take the best and gentle approach to these points. They tried multiple bottles and cups to make him take milk and were open to so many suggestions. He is now really confidently eating solids in the nursery and has naps without a problem. In general, I thought the staff made this place. He loves going to nursery, smiles when I drop him off and is very tired and happy when I pick him up. Staff always know exactly what he was doing during the day and they spend time talking it through. I really feel like they go out of their way to make both baby and mum happy and well looked after.
