Blackberry House Day Nursery (Peterborough)

Personally, for me, Blackberries have been fantastic and have done an incredible job since my daughter joined when she was 18 months. After the start of this pandemic, I was petrified to put her back in when it came to June last year but the staff have been nothing short of amazing, extremely supportive and reassuring. Each and everyone is doing a fantastic job in providing care for our little ones in such unprecedented times. My daughter is 4 next month and has come on leaps and bounds because of the staff at Blackberries, supporting her progression. Thank you all.

Both of our girls have been going to this nursery since they were little babies. We are very happy with their development and care they have. The communication is great and the staff always helpful with any queries. We definitely can recommend the Blackberry House nursery to any parents looking for a family environment.

I am truly grateful for all of the staff at Peterborough for finding the time to listen to me as a parent and for supporting my child during these difficult times to ensure he can still access learning and socialisation in a childcare setting.

The girls are absolutely amazing with my daughter. I can’t thank them enough for how comfortable and happy they make my little girl. Even on the weekends, she’ll tell me how much she loves her teachers. They have all worked so so hard even throughout the national pandemic and they do not get enough credit. I take my hat off to all of you and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Ever since my daughter joined Peterborough Blackberry House Nursery she has gained so much confidence and improved remarkably in her speech and vocabulary. She is always excited when going to this setting because the staff are so warm, friendly and kind. The setting and the environment is conducive for learning. Staff always provide constructive feedback on the progress of our daughter. This is an excellent daycare nursery. It is always reflected by the excitement my daughter displays at home and at the nursery.

I just want to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all of your staff at the Peterborough Nursery for helping with my son's development which has come on so much, you are a super team.

My children enjoy attending the setting and have built up a good rapport with staff and management. Activities are varied and the recent introduction of forest schools is very welcome. They regularly come home with things they have made during the day. Staff carries out a comprehensive handover at the end of the day. The setting always looks neat and tidy and seems to have plenty of activities that are varied. The setting also gets involved with various days and weeks focusing on recycling, books, charities and religious holidays etc which is good for the children to learn.

Blackberry's have looked after both of my children with full care. Always professional, polite and safe. My children have had a brilliant start to learning, the care is brilliant. I've always been kept up to date with their day, sleep, food is eaten and all activities in the day. The only thing I find is it's maybe a little more expensive compared to other care. Adding bolt-ons get expensive, so perhaps more flexibility with hours could be handy. But I would highly recommend to anyone.

My eldest son has attended Blackberries since the age of 6 months. I viewed Blackberry House following a recommendation and I wasn’t disappointed. As soon as I walked in I was given a thorough tour of the area my child would be cared for in and introduced to the team who would be looking after him. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly and you can tell they all genuinely care about the well-being of your child by getting to know them, their likes/dislikes and personalities. They put on a huge range of activities which provide my son with opportunities to try something new and learn new skills. The communication and support from the staff are excellent and on collection, I am given a thorough run-through of his day. Talking to the staff I have also learnt new things my son enjoys which I can try and recreate at home and every time I collect him he’s happy, content and smiling. I’m so pleased I chose to send him to blackberries and would definitely recommend this nursery.

My eldest daughter was here from 9 months old until school age. We wouldn't have considered sending our youngest daughter anywhere else. The team at Blackberries House truly care about the children they look after, they are like an extension of family.

My son joined Blackberry House day Nursery once he'd turned two and loved his time there. Going to nursery built his confidence after an emotional start! Staff were very caring and provided an enjoyable environment for him to develop new skills with a wide variety of activities. He was a big fan of the garden/outdoor area.

Choosing this nursery was the best decision we made for our daughter. We are very happy with all the staff and with how our baby is developing. Extremely good nursery in every way possible.

Great nursery, my daughter really enjoys going there. She has learnt a lot in the past months. Good staff, always polite and smiling.

My son has been going to this nursery for over 2 years now and he absolutely loves it. All the staff are very welcoming and lovely, it will be a sad day when he has to leave them for big school. Definitely recommend this nursery to other parents : )

My daughter has attended this nursery from 9 months old, she's currently 3. I cannot recommend Blackberry House highly enough. The staff are always so pleasing and accommodating and at one of the most difficult times as a parent, this provided me with so much reassurance that my daughter would be OK leaving me, to attend a nursery. My daughter is involved in a wide range of activities, the staff are mindful of her development and know when to encourage her. My daughter eats at the nursery and often eats more than she does at home! She now runs in to see her friends and sometimes asks if she can go to nursery at the weekends! Go and visit this wonderful nursery, you won't regret it.

While I was on maternity leave and after I knew I was going to start on a new position at work the week after, Blackberry House's senior manager welcomed us so well and helped us to find a solution and she did everything she could to get my son a space with such a short notice. They were a great help when I most needed.

I only have great things to comment about this nursery. The ladies are so gentle, so kind to my baby, he loves them and the adaptation was so smooth and easy. Just like every mum's wish. He used to be a fussy eater and he loves to eat everything! It's been a good experience, no doubt.

Thank you for making the fire chapter of my daughter's school life such a pleasant experience for her.

My little has gone to Blackberry House since he was 3 and is now leaving to go to school in Sept. He has had a great time here enjoying learning loads of different new thing and making lots of friends. The staff have been fantastic always happy to help in anyway possible and are brilliant with the children.
