Blackberry House Day Nursery (Peterborough)

A really conducive and helpful learning environment for my child. The learnings my child takes away from her visits to the setting are hugely valuable. It makes our effort to top up on her learnings a lot easier.

The structure of also providing periodic updates on the learnings of my child is very helpful as well.

The Staff are very helpful to provide and assist us with any information regarding our child and are available when required.

My son has been attending Blackberry House Day Nursery Peterborough since he was 7 months. He's now 2 and loves attending the Nursery. They have a structured learning plan from age 7 months to facilitate each child's development and always updates me on his progress and his daily activities. The care and dedication invested into his development is truly impressive. Thank you to all the staff members at Blackberry Day Peterborough. You are all Amazing.

My son always goes to Blackberries happy, there have never been situations where he cried or didn't want to go, which proves that he feels safe there, all the ladies are very professional and nice. They add a lot of photos and updates to the app, I always have an overview of what and how much he eats. My son, as a bilingual child, received a lot of support in learning English, which brought very good results.

My son absolutely loves attending this nursery. He has really grown and developed so much while he's been attending Blackberries. All of the staff are amazing, patient with him, and extremely friendly. They always make us feel welcome and keep us updated on his progress, which gives us real peace of mind. He comes home every day happy, excited, and full of new things he has learned. The activities are creative and well-planned, helping him develop important social and learning skills. I truly appreciate the caring environment they provide. I would highly recommend Blackberries to any parent looking for quality childcare.

Our favourite thing is that my little one comes home from nursery with stories to tell about his day and all the fun he has had.

My baby has loved being a part of this nursery. From the moment she first entered till now. Can't fault them on anything. We feel she is well taken care of and since transitioning to the toddler section, we have noticed her excelling in her speech.

The staff at Blackberries Day Nursery in Peterborough are absolutely amazing, the support guidance and learning they give to the children is outstanding. Ever since my child started attending he has thrived and become so confident! He comes out buzzing to talk about his day. He spends so much of his time outside learning with outdoor play. They have a forest school, music room, IT lessons, yoga sessions and so much more. When you pick up your child the staff are very enthusiastic, talkative and explain what they have done in that day. When we went to visit the nursery I was taken away with all the different areas that your child can learn in but to be honest the nursery has exceeded all of my expectations I can not thank all of the staff at Blackberry House Day Nursery Peterborough enough for being a part of my son's story. I would like to personally thank the manager and staff.

I have been with Blackberry House for coming up to a year nearly, the support I receive is great sometimes it can be tricky finding the right balance to work and find childcare but I can honestly say hand on heart Blackberry really do go above and beyond. You are always greeted with a warm welcome and I am always thoroughly informed of my daughter's day. I can say that it's a great place to work and I would highly recommend Blackberry to anyone looking at nurseries. The time and investment the staff make is above and beyond and nothing is ever too much trouble. Highly recommended.

My daughter loves it here, she has come on so much since being here her confidence has grown I can’t thank them enough, the staff are lovely and always very welcoming. She is always really happy to go which I love to see.

She just loves nursery and this is thanks to the quality and care of the staff, the facilities and their way of working. Since moving our little girl here at 11 months old, she has thrived and has developed so much and I can't thank them enough. We cannot fault this nursery and would recommend it to anyone interested.

It's not the cheapest, but no doubt you absolutely get what you pay for.

My daughter has been coming to the nursery since she was 9-months-old, and she is now 2! She loves it there and is learning loads! She’s never cried once and is always so excited to go. I would like to think the staff are doing a wonderful job! They also seem friendly, and I love the way they interact with my daughter when I drop her off every morning. My only issue is how fast the staff turnover is. There are new faces every month, and it's so hard to keep up. I have no idea who is who anymore as the staff just seems to quit quite quickly. I hope they work on retaining their lovely staff because it’s a little concerning.

The whole team at Peterborough are wonderful, but we'd like to give a special shout out to two ladies who are always so wonderful and supportive of us as first-time parents and fantastic with our son. Our son is so excited to see them on the days that he attends, and we feel that we have a good relationship with them.

My son is very happy at preschool - he’s settled in so well and looks forward to going each morning. The staff are very friendly and thorough. They’ve really supported my son with his social skills by carrying out observations and targeted interventions, keeping me informed every step of the way. I’m really grateful for their care and support. They’ve been really accommodating when I needed to increase my son's hours too.

They have a high staff turnover which can be unsettling but they are always friendly and helpful.

I am very happy with the progress he has made since he has been at the nursery.

I do not recommend this nursery at all, they couldn’t even put my daughter's nappy on the correct way round.

Also, I asked for more information on what my son is doing and eating which is reported to me on a piece on paper. I feel this is needs to be on an app as other nurseries do this as is more convenient.

Me and my son love Blackberries! All staff is so friendly. Every morning my son goes in with a big smile there. Can’t be more happy. My son said the food is tasty, always eating there. Going to be very hard to leave.
