Welcome to Buttercups Teddington. This, their newest nursery is conveniently positioned on Teddington High Street and provides a cosy, home-from-home environment. It incorporates Wizard House, the new home for preschoolers, a fabulous self-contained Montessori hall, on the same site.

Buttercups Teddington has a Buttercups-themed Soft Play Room for the children to build their motor skills in a fun and safe environment. The Dance Studio is a fabulous space to get moving, with music and multi-coloured lighting whilst the Art Room is filled with materials to encourage creativity. There is also a large garden packed with toys and natural resources to explore.

In Wizard house, an authentic Montessori education is provided for preschoolers, that nurtures natural curiosity, independence, and love for learning. This dedicated Montessori hall has been specifically designed to meet the needs of their young wizards, with everything at their height, separate areas for different activities and flooded with natural light.

Qualified Montessori Teachers use focused Montessori sessions enabling children to be independent, confident and curious learners.

As with all Buttercups nurseries, the team encourage children to learn through play. This allows them to be led by their natural curiosity, promoting development, confidence and independence. The team adopt a variety of teaching approaches including Montessori and HighScope and they incorporate as much time as possible to engage with nature and the great outdoors.

Buttercups develop the skills and qualifications of the team through extensive in-house training programmes and external courses, allowing them to be the best they can be for all children.

Excellent, happy, friendly nursery. The whole team care for the children beautifully and help them develop and grow. They teach the children how to solve their own problems and resolve conflicts with their peers. They give them opportunities to try all sorts of new things. I like how they celebrate
lots of cultures and teach the children about the world. Lovely garden with room to run. Lots of variety in the food. My daughters tell me the food is delicious!

I absolutely love the entire team at Buttercups at Teddington branch. Their wonderful, gentle approach to each individual child is outstanding. The care and love they pour into the children doesn’t go unnoticed and really makes a difference. What’s special is that they truly listen to feedback and want
to improve the experience for every child and parent. I would not want my children to be in any other nursery.

Buttercups at Teddington is a loving and nurturing environment, my daughter absolutely adores it. We feel reassured knowing she’s there; happy, so well looked after, whilst also being mentally stretched, helping her develop every day.

My son has been at Buttercups at Teddington for two years. He loves it and asks to go on the weekends! As well as fun and homely, he learns a lot and has endless fun in the garden, his favourite part of every day. The staff are warm and kind with the children and the nursery includes parents with events.
We have been very happy here and I now have no worries for my baby starting, as I know he will have a great experience too. The external sports coach and French lessons are also excellent and well enjoyed!

Amazing nursery. I was so anxious before my daughter started, especially as she was starting a few months later than I imagine many children start (she was 16 months) and she can be very clingy with me.
Buttercups were brilliant, Within a month she was happy.
Five months on and I couldn't be happier.
The food is nutritious, and the staff are kind, fun and patient with the children. My daughter has learnt songs that they sing to do things like getting her nappy changed, she sings songs they sing for activities at home, and she tells me the names of the other children and calls them her friends.
I was worried about her nap but she sleeps just as well there as she does at home. The environment is fun without being overstimulating and the activities are well thought out for each age group. Even with all those pluses, for me, it's the staff that makes it outstanding, they are all such wonderful caring people who are passionate about what they do.

A nursery that has always gone the extra mile, both our children have attended this nursery from 11 months up until they started school. During their time here they have always been extremely happy, supported and loved by all members of staff and received an excellent education. We cannot recommend
this nursery highly enough. Food is also fantastic.

Our son has been at Teddington Buttercups for over a year now and has loved it from day one. He skips to nursery each day and has built a great and very caring rapport with all the staff at Buttercups. The whole team really does go above and beyond in terms of looking after their little charges and
also do some superb and very well-attended parents/family events across the year. Highly recommend!

We are very happy with Buttercups and our son loves his time there. The staff are warm and engaging, and we really feel like he is getting individual attention to his growth and development. They recently opened new facilities like a soft play room and a dance area, so there is lots to do. And the communication

Both of our children attend Buttercups at Teddington and love it. The staff at Buttercups are phenomenal and really are supportive to both parents and children in the nursery. Having an environment which is nurturing and fun has really developed our eldest in the right way both educationally and emotionally.
As working parents this is something which was really important to us. We have recently just started our second child in the Baby Room and it really has cemented our appreciation of how the focus on early years and effort put in right from the start has made such a positive impact. Big thanks to all at Buttercups!

We recently joined Buttercups in Teddington and have been so happy with their warm welcome of our little one. Such a warm, family feel with a great team and facilities. Happily recommend to anyone. The team at Buttercups are caring, nurturing, brilliant teachers and the (reasonably) new management team are superb. The teachers really listen to any questions/concerns parents have and work in partnership with you on things like diet, potty training, learning to write etc. The small setting means
that all the staff know your child and actually learn your name too! My daughter has been at the nursery for nearly three years now and I can say that every room/age group has brilliant team leaders that she has bonded with and adores.

I couldn't rate the nursery highly enough. My son loves it, always smiling when I pick him up and happy when he arrives. The manager and two other members of staff, in particular, are all wonderful. I would not hesitate to recommend.

I can honestly say Buttercups at Teddington is the best small nursery! You know you have hit the jackpot when your child looks forward to going to nursery and is very eager - walks straight in with a big smile, runs to their teachers and gives the biggest hug to them. The setting is good, but most importantly,
the staff are amazing. This, I believe, is the key to having a real happy/nurtured/well-rounded kid. The teacher-parent partnership is next to none and you feel involved in the most positive way with the nursery. Their ethos of learning through play ensures the kids are taking in a huge amount without noticing as they are having so much fun. Highly recommended!
