Nuffy Bear Day Nursery St Albans

I love to hear about his day and what he has been up to. The menu is varied and healthy, this is one of the main factors I liked about the nursery.

The nursery has a very loving and caring atmosphere as soon as you walk in, this is lovely to see.

It is so nice for me to be able to drop him off and go to work not having to worry.

Fantastic nursery. Our son started in June and settled very quickly. Sara and her team have been so patient and caring. Our son has learnt so much. We would definitely recommend the nursery.

My twins started Nuffy Bear in the Creche at 4 months old and became nursery children at 18 months. Over the nearly four years we have attended Nuffield, we have seen a huge amount of improvement. The quality of learning experience is excellent with not only all the eyfs covered but also Football, French and swimming lessons included in the program. We have found Nuffy Bear to be very caring and nurturing, whilst flexible to support our family and work commitments. The facilities are fantastic. It would not suprise us to see Nuffield awarded Outstanding at its next Ofsted.

Both my children (4 years and 3 years) attend Nuffy Bear Day Nursery St Albans. Both thoroughly enjoy the activities, space and staff.

The nursery is a nurturing, fun environment and both my children are flourishing there. The children are encouraged to develop and grow from the moment the start.

The food is varied and nutritious.

There is s forest garden and an outdoor, undercover soft play for the children.

Weekly French lessons are held for children of all ages and once they are over 3 they also have swimming lessons.

It's a wonderful environment and I have two happy children enjoying their nursery journey.

Both my sons have used Nuffy Bear Day Nursery St Albans. Both didn't want to go to the crèche to start with but after their first time, they both loved it. I always came back to happy faces of excitement when I collected. The staff are warm and friendly and interact with the children through play and learn. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Our daughter has been to Nuffy Bear Day Nursery St Albans since she was six months old and she loves it. The nursery has seen many changes and yet the staff have remained unconditionally committed and positive throughout. They have kept Nuffy Bear Day Nursery St Albans an interesting and inspiring place for our children to flourish and grow. They have been consistent in maintaining high standards in education and fun! I'm always amazed and in awe at what my daughter achieves on a daily/weekly basis. I can always ask for advice about changes in my daughter's behaviour and I never feel as though I am on my own. The staff are reassuring and kind and I wouldn't have confirmed in my highly stressful/long hour's job without them and of course my husband!!

My son is very happy at Nuffy Bear Day Nursery St Albans. The care he receives is fantastic and he has never had a day where he doesn't want to go. The staff are approachable and the food is varied and healthy. I strongly recommend it.

My daughter's carers are super. They explain to us every night when we collect her what she's done, eaten and how she's slept. Very informative.

My daughter has been going to Nuffy Bear Day Nursery St Albans for the past 12 months and she absolutely loves it. I feel she has really benefitted from the relaxed, warm and amazing staff. She loves creative messy play and soft play outside.

Overall, she settled really well and became a confident little girl.

Both of our children have attended Nuffy Bear since they were 9 months old. The nursery has great facilities e.g. access to nature garden and soft play as well as being able to use some of the Nuffield Health gym's facilities including the swimming pool. They also bring in external teachers for subjects such as French and football. The staff have always been great with our children and they have always enjoyed attending.

Initially hesitant about using a nursery inside a health centre, but all the staff have been excellent. Management very responsive and my daughter enjoyed being there. The end of day feedback was excellent, I liked their system of capturing how my daughter had been feeling/eating etc. I attended one parents evening, which was very comprehensive and I was impressed with how much they wrote down on her progress. Also excellent value and easy to park!

My wife and I are delighted with the care Nuffy Bear (St Albans) Have provided our son.

He is offered a huge range of stimulating activities (true in every room/age group he has been in). They also make excellent use of the facilities they have at their disposal at the gym (squash courts for play, swimming pool etc.).

The staff are approachable, knowledgeable and clearly enjoy their time with the children. I have never seen anything other than smiles and energy emanating from the staff. In addition to this, they have a real bond with our son.

The management has been excellent in all our dealings with them and couldn't be more attentive, polite and friendly.

Ultimately, our son absolutely loves going to nursery and he comes home well fed, well entertained, making progress, extremely well looked after and safe. What more could you want?

In our time at Nuffy Bear they twice misused their debit permissions overdrawing from my account money they were not owed. It took a month on the first occasion to get my money returned. They have a few outstanding staff members and a few mediocre ones. Management seemed constantly stressed and/or absent when needed. Processes and communication lines were flawed. I felt children were safe but at the preschool level under stimulated and not properly prepared for school. This may have been partly due to staffing problems in our time there. Outside space seemed good as it had a great covered soft play area but on several occasions it wasn't used as they were understaffed or similar. There are much better places especially for older children.

My daughter has been looked after extremely well and has enjoyed doing lots of new activities. Her confidence and grown lots as a result of the support and care from the nursery staff. I feel relaxed and happy knowing she is in good hands!

My daughter absolutely loves her time here. The staff are very friendly and professional and I find the daily feedback sheets most informative. It is obvious that the staff care a lot about the children and do their best to make the time that they spend at the nursery both stimulating and fun.
