Best decision I made sending my daughter here. Friendly and amazing staff. Always updated, app easy to use. Always a clear understanding and nothing is ever any trouble. The place is always tidy and welcoming.

My child, who faces challenges with sensory processing, struggled during their stay. It was evident that the staff lacked the necessary understanding and resources to support children with sensory sensitivities adequately. The absence of specialized strategies or a sensory-friendly environment impacted
my child's well-being and hindered their engagement in nursery activities.
Communication breakdowns further exacerbated our experience. I consistently felt uninformed about my child's daily experiences and any challenges they may have faced. Attempts to discuss these concerns with the staff were met with defensiveness and a lack of empathy, hindering constructive collaboration.
For improvement, I recommend comprehensive training for staff on sensory issues, the creation of a sensory-friendly environment, clearer communication protocols, and empathy training. These steps can contribute to a more inclusive and supportive environment for all children.

Within our nursery, we have a SENDCO lead as a key member of our team trained in supporting team members and working with children who have specific needs and challenges including speech, language, and other neurodiverse conditions. We provide accredited SEND training in our Academy to ensure each of our SENDCOs has the highest knowledge and access to all up-to-date materials/documentation. Each child has a plan and through different activities supports the diagnosis as given.
Our app and handover process has been designed to give parents the information and visual record of the experiences their child has had over the day, however, we appreciate that this may have not been enough for your needs and have taken this on to review our process. We wish you all the best and hope their time in school is going well.

My daughter attends Kids Allowed for over six months. Initially, she had some adjustment issues with the new environment, but she changed very quickly. She is very well looked after and now is very comfortable with the staff.

My little boy started at Kids Allowed Stockport at the start of this year for three mornings a week. He was only five-and-a-half months and it’d be an understatement to say I was nervous about the transition for us both. We’ve been blown away by how well he has settled and the range of activities and
quality of care in the baby room. He’s very happy. The thing that stands out is every single member of the team really cares and their passion shines through.

I genuinely do not have any negative comments about this nursery, the nursery is absolutely fantastic. My son attended upto Preschool and my daughter is now in woddlers. She has such a beautiful bond with all the staff members she is with.. past and present! You can tell she really loves them and is
well looked after! The staff are fantastic. Everyone is always so kind, helpful and accommodating. We have loved our time at Kids Allowed Stockport. The girls take time to provide updates throughout the day and also give a thorough debrief at collection. Thank you so much. Keep up the good work x

We are very happy with the care provided to our daughter. She started nursery when she was 8 months old, initially part time and slowly built up to full time. She is doing amazing and thriving. She is 15 months now and at 7 am she is by the door with her jacket and her shoes to take her to nursery.
All the staff is brilliant and I can see she is very comfortable with them. They are very supportive and helped me with managing a few difficulties. I can see my daughter is happy to spend 10 hours per day there and still keep going back the next day or even at weekends. I can’t wish for more. Very happy mum here!

My son attended Kids Allowed Stockport from baby room to pre school before starting reception and my daughter is currently in woddlers. The care every single member of staff have given both children has been incredible. They are always involved in activities and they really try to cater to your child's
individual interests. It is so reassuring that you can see your child interacting with the staff and other children during drop off and pick ups as this isn't the case for some nurseries in the area - Kids Allowed clearly are rightfully really proud of the work their staff put in to make the children happy and cared for. The staff always have time for the parents and keep in contact regularly throughout the day. Particularly happy with a member of staff in woddler 3 who has built a close bond with my little girl and makes her so happy to go to nursery! Also, love the levels of security - door code plus biometric entry as well as staff that actually get to know all parents and carers! Would recommend to all!

My daughter has been at this nursery since 1 (is now 3 and a half). In each room we have felt she has been very well looked after, fed brilliant food and has had fun! We particularly liked the layout of the building, when she was a baby in particular and felt it was safer than in some smaller nurseries.
She made excellent progress and she has taken part in a wide range of activities including things like listening walks and meeting bugs that the bug lady brought in for them. They get them outside in the gardens as much as possible and keep them active. The phonics work she has done with the teacher in the class has inspired her and she thoroughly enjoys learning. When she has had any little bumps or they have been at all concerned about anything they have phoned straight away. She had strange rashes for a while and they kept an eye on them and took photos of them changing for me. The staff and manager are excellent, listen and act on concerns and ideas and are extremely open to discussion.

My daughter attended this nursery. She had difficulties going to nursery for 6 weeks but when they changed her room, she changed. She started to be happy to go to nursery and enjoy herself.
I appreciate four members of staff and especially one staff member in particular as she was the first person
in the nursery my daughter could trust, get love from and feel comfortable all day by spending time with her.

We love how engaged all of the staff are with our little boy. Everyone knows his name, greets him when he comes in and waves him goodbye when he leaves - and the energy they invest is genuine. From the day he started, he was made to feel welcome and loved. The team worked hard to settle him in, and
now he is thriving. Nothing has ever been too much trouble here - accommodating dietary requirements, sleep patterns, start times etc. We have always felt they had his best interests at heart.

I have two children at Kids Allowed. One in preschool, who has progressed throughout the nursery, and another in babies, who started approx 1 month ago. Both children love nursery and have both developed significantly. The staff there go above and beyond to create relationships with both children and

Overall what an amazing nursery. Our little girl loves coming to nursery and loves being socialable saying "hiya" to all the staff and children in her presence. She has shown lots of happiness and developing more and more each day. The care and learning experiences she receives whilst in their care
are brilliant. If you want a nursery with fantastic caring, enthusiastic and supportive staff to help your child flourish and prepare them for life experience this is the place to be. We can't thank them enough for always being there for us too. Whether it's a check-in call or having a bad day and wanting some reassurance, they are happy to listen. I'm glad I've chosen here. With being a previous deputy manager myself, I was quite particular in what I wanted for my little one but I definitely made the best choice.

I just want to say I'm really happy with this nursery. My two older children came hee and now my younger one comes to this nursery three days a week. She has come on so much with everything and they helped her so much with her walking and I can't thank them enough with that. She is in Woddlers at the
moment and loves the team and everyone, she is due to move up to Toddlers soon and I know she will be really happy and settle well in the room. The staff are always happy and smiling away and always happy to help and support.

Our child finished in August 2022.
Overall has been pretty awful to be honest.
Our son has special educational needs with diagnosed learning disabilities. The nursery are aware of, yet tried to treat him in the same way as other non-SEND kids in the room.
Our son has Autism and SPD and has been
mostly non-verbal until 3 years old.
He would often become overwhelmed and upset and highly sensitive to change/noises etc. Could lead to outbursts or being upset and causing toilet accidents. Nursey staff would often find it 'easier' to leave our son 'when he got like this' as it was 'challenging' - so 3-4 times a week would go to collect our child in soiled clothes sat alone in the corner of a room.
The nursery also were to receive inclusion funding to help him be 'included' and also are aware that an EHCP is in place but never did anything with either of those things. The setting has not had any benefit of a qualified teacher the whole time he was in Pre-school & no trips/excursions ever.

My son loves it here! The interaction the amazing staff have with the children is brilliant, keeping them entertained throughout the day with various activities right through to caring for their every need. Kids Allowed Stockport always keep you informed, even on the minor details which is great. They
are always on hand to help should you ever need them. A wonderful team and set up at Kids Allowed Stockport. A fantastic nursery with a great set up would highly recommend.

Both of my children have gone to Kids Allowed Stockport, everyone is friendly and so lovely. My littlest one has only just started and has settled in brilliantly. I was really nervous about sending him to nursery due to the pandemic, but all the team in the babies room have made such an effort and
he comes out with a huge smile. The team upload regular pictures throughout the day which is so nice to see. The food is great and the facilities are amazing for the little ones. I wouldn’t feel comfortable sending my little one anywhere else.

Excellent, caring staff who go above and beyond to ensure the children are learning in a safe and caring environment. The rooms are clean and well designed for purpose.

I highly recommend this nursery. My daughters both started in toddlers and have both had the best time whilst there. I also recommended the nursery to a friend who's daughter started in babies and is now in woddlers.
The staff are so friendly and always approachable. If there's ever been anything
I've needed to query, the help and support has been there. It's super clean and the food is cooked from scratch each mealtime which always smells divine. I wish I could go to nursery.

I have been with the Kids Planet Company for two years now and I am very passionate about my career and providing children with a safe space in which they can learn and grow. As a parent myself, I will ensure that the nursery runs to the highest of standards so that all children benefit from the same level of care as I would expect for my own.

Hi, My name is Bethany, I am the Deputy Manager and SENDCo at Kids Planet Stockport.


I have worked for the company for the past 9 years, working my way from nursery nurse to my current role. I am very passionate about my role and supporting both children and families, ensuring their nursery experience is positive.


I am Level 6 qualified and also have my Level 3 SEND Coordinator qualification.
