Kids Planet Stockport

I moved my little boy to this Nursery in September 2025, he had been to a different nursery beforehand. Since he moved to this nursery I have seen such a positive change in my little boy, he adores nursery. The staff are brilliant with him, he comes home excited to tell me about his day and he has made some great friends. My little boy also has a Dairy and Beef allergy and the nursery have been brilliant with accommodating his allergies, ensuring that all food is healthy and suitable for him. There is also always someone in the reception area and everyone is always really friendly, the nursery make you feel like it is one big family.

My daughter joined kids planet Sept 2025. The first couple of weeks were really tough emotionally, the staff at kids planet were so understanding and accommodating. They answered all my questions and reassured me with updates throughout the day.

My daughter loves going to nursery now and has a smile on her face when we get to the door.

The team at Stockport has been amazing as my daughter has got medical conditions where she has seizures. There are no warning signs so everyone has to be on guard. My daughter has had a few whilst she has been at nursery and the team have dealt with the situation very professionally, acted quickly but more so made sure my daughter was cared for as if she were their own whilst I got to her. I chose Kids Planet as other nurseries have just a first aider, however Kids Planet train all their staff with first aid training, so it reassures me that she will get the necessary treatment fast, rather than being delayed whilst a first aider was called. Even after her seizures the team always check if I'm ok and how she is doing. Thank you Kids Planet for the care and putting my mind at rest whilst she is at nursery.

Both our children went to Kids Planet and both had an amazing time. Staff are incredibly friendly and caring, I want to give a big shout out to Enina, Ace and Iffat. Enina is lovely and gentle, my daughter really loves spending time with her, she is always detailed with the feedback and makes sure children are cared for. Ace is very fun, and has incredible play ideas and energy even at the end of a busy day, I always admire the resilience and enthusiasm and Iffat is really caring about the children overall.

My daughter started here at the age of 2, she is non verbal autistic and I couldn't of asked for a better nursery! They provided Skyler with everything she needed to excel, they're a caring loving and patient nursery. They help you as a parent with schools, EHCPs anything you need. If it wasn't for this nursery I would of been lost with trying to navigate everything, as a sen parent i cant recommend this nursery enough! I was so nervous about anyone looking after my baby but they helped her grow into an amazing little girl.

Overall I've loved sending my daughter to this nursery she's grown unbelievable bonds with staff it's an emotional time for me as I know how settled my daughter was it was her safe space. Great nursery overall I recommend

The nursery is the best I've been to.The staff are just amazing always help when needed and go above and beyond for the children. There is an open roof garden so much open space for the kids to enjoy.The reception team are always happy and always there to help. I cannot fault the nursey loved my time here will be very sad to go. I cannot name any staff as we love them all.Everyone has been brilliant. Thank you to them all.

Where do I begin having a child with additional needs and sending them off to nursery is a very daunting experience. But I can hand on heart say that kids planet Stockport have taken care of my son like their own. Nothing is too much trouble. I'm going to be sad to see my son leave and go to school as I know he was in truly safe hands and I felt so comfortable leaving him. His key worker is amazing and I call her his nursery mum I wish she could go and work in his school with him. The manager is amazing and always available for a chat or to address any of my anxieties. The receptionist is always so helpful and I love seeing her smiley face in the morning. The senco have helped me with his echp and getting him ready for school making sure everything's in place. I honestly am going to be so sad to see him leave and I wish I couple pocket all the staff and take him with me. You have made his time at nursery so enjoyable and I want to thank you x

Kids Planet Stockport is simply fabulous. I couldn't have asked for anything more for my baby. It's always a difficult time for me having to go back to work and not be with my children all day every day, this time around was so much easier because I knew how happy my baby is there and that she's in very capable hands. The food is always healthy with a good range of different things to try. I am kept up to date every day via the app. The staff are absolutely fantastic and have such a lovely way with the children. The admin side of things is easy to understand and work with. My baby loves coming here. It's also safe and secure.

My child has done 2 weeks and is settling in well. The team in the baby room are amazing. Had the most interaction with one staff member in particular who is great and always does a great handover at drop off and pick up times. I always feel well informed and that my baby is in good care. Two further staff members have also been great.

It's amazing, as much as I didn't want to send her and still get nervous every day, it's reassuring to know they are doing the absolute best to give her the best experience.

I truly couldn't recommend this nursery enough.

My little boy has been at Kids Planet since he was 8 months old, he's now nearly 3. In each of the 3 rooms he's been in we've had a really good experience overall with lots of age-appropriate and engaging activities for the kids and kind staff that make an effort to get to know the children well. The staff in his current room, Toddler 2, are friendly, caring, and enthusiastic, I feel they really go out of their way to make sure the kids have a good time & have got to know my son really well. My son has come on really well in terms of his confidence and overall development whilst he's been at Kids Planet but more importantly, I feel confident leaving him in good hands with staff who are kind and knowledgeable and who care about him. The ability to add/swap nursery days is also hugely useful as it allows my mum (who has him 2 days a week) to have breaks when needed. I would recommend this nursery to other parents.

My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since starting at this nursery, she loves and eats all the food here she loves the reading and teddy area and gets daily updates on the app. Staff are friendly and know her well she loves going to them for cuddles. It's lovely to see all the activities she does and she enjoys being out in the garden area.

We'd highly recommend this nursery in a heartbeat, the best decision we've made for our boys' early year development.

End of day handover is our favourite part of the day - hearing all about our daughter's day, how much fun she's had and also how well the room staff know her quirks and character! They do lots of activities and she comes home demonstrating them and talking about it. Her development has come on so much by coming to nursing and the communication of this is great through the app. Admin is also dealt with efficiently when we need it by reception and finance.

I couldn't be happier with our experience! From the moment we joined, the team have been exceptional, making us feel welcomed and confident that my son is in the best hands. A special mention to the admin manager/receptionist who has been nothing short of incredible. She's always warm, responsive, and attentive to our needs, going above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. She truly understands what families need and makes each interaction feel personal and reassuring. A special mention to my son's favourite people, they are truly outstanding. The gentle approach and creativity of one of these staff members have brought out such a sense of curiosity and excitement in our little one, he always tells me about their dance parties. The energy and nurturing attitude of another one of these staff members are a perfect balance, and it's clear that she genuinely cares about each child's development. The other one of these staff members is amazing at engaging the children, making every learning experience both fun and meaningful.

Fantastic purpose-designed nursery. Friendly staff and engaged curriculum to keep little ones entertained all day. Room staff are great at building strong relationships with children and bringing out the best in them. Lots of tailored activities to help development across key learning and development areas and reports each day against progress to help you know which areas to focus on at home. Specific call out for the room leader of Toddler 1 who is an absolute star - she's built such a strong and positive relationship with my son, he really enjoys spending time and learning with her.

The nursery has been great since we started last year. We looked at many nurseries before deciding on Stockport Kids Planet, and I can say we're really pleased we picked this nursery. The facilities are really good and always clean (as much as you can when doing messy activities with the kids). I don't think the nursery would be what it is without its staff, I think they make the environment caring, fun and engaging, perfect for little kiddies. From the staff member on reception creating a warm welcome to those who we've had in our little boy's rooms. Particular shout out to one staff member in particular who was our little boy's first key worker and first person to create a loving bond with, our little boy still loves to see him around now. I also can't praise the room leader of Toddler 1 enough, she is just fantastic, a testament to the nursery. You can see she is very knowledgeable in her role and clearly runs a fun and educational room. Big thank you to this staff member, our little boy will be very sad when she has to move room.
