My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since starting at this nursery, she loves and eats all the food here she loves the reading and teddy area and gets daily updates on the app. Staff are friendly and know her well she loves going to them for cuddles. It's lovely to see all the activities she does
and she enjoys being out in the garden area.

My boys have attended Kids Planet over the last 6 years. The team here are like family to us.
We value the hard work and dedication they've shown over the years.
Trust is a huge part of our decision in sending our boys to nursery. We trust all staff with the care of boys.
Every member of staff
plays their part, and reception welcome when you drop off /pick up. The room staff are always so welcoming too.
On pick up, we have a full run-through of their day. Their food, play, their sleep, if any. We also have access to an app which tells us this info too.
The indoor and outdoor facilities are great. The centre is clean and the boys have been fed like kings over the years!
Both boys have loved their time here and hold fond memories and friends to this day.
Nursery sets the boys up for school perfectly. They know the routine and have learnt skills in preparation for school.
We'd highly recommend this nursery in a heartbeat, the best decision we've made for our boys' early year development.

I couldn't be happier with our experience! From the moment we joined, the team have been exceptional, making us feel welcomed and confident that my son is in the best hands. A special mention to the admin manager/receptionist who has been nothing short of incredible. She's always warm, responsive, and
attentive to our needs, going above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. She truly understands what families need and makes each interaction feel personal and reassuring. A special mention to my son's favourite people, they are truly outstanding. The gentle approach and creativity of one of these staff members have brought out such a sense of curiosity and excitement in our little one, he always tells me about their dance parties. The energy and nurturing attitude of another one of these staff members are a perfect balance, and it's clear that she genuinely cares about each child's development. The other one of these staff members is amazing at engaging the children, making every learning experience both fun and meaningful.

End of day handover is our favourite part of the day - hearing all about our daughter's day, how much fun she's had and also how well the room staff know her quirks and character! They do lots of activities and she comes home demonstrating them and talking about it. Her development has come on so much
by coming to nursing and the communication of this is great through the app. Admin is also dealt with efficiently when we need it by reception and finance.

The nursery has been great since we started last year. We looked at many nurseries before deciding on Stockport Kids Planet, and I can say we're really pleased we picked this nursery. The facilities are really good and always clean (as much as you can when doing messy activities with the kids). I don't
think the nursery would be what it is without its staff, I think they make the environment caring, fun and engaging, perfect for little kiddies. From the staff member on reception creating a warm welcome to those who we've had in our little boy's rooms. Particular shout out to one staff member in particular who was our little boy's first key worker and first person to create a loving bond with, our little boy still loves to see him around now. I also can't praise the room leader of Toddler 1 enough, she is just fantastic, a testament to the nursery. You can see she is very knowledgeable in her role and clearly runs a fun and educational room. Big thank you to this staff member, our little boy will be very sad when she has to move room.

Fantastic purpose-designed nursery. Friendly staff and engaged curriculum to keep little ones entertained all day. Room staff are great at building strong relationships with children and bringing out the best in them. Lots of tailored activities to help development across key learning and development
areas and reports each day against progress to help you know which areas to focus on at home. Specific call out for the room leader of Toddler 1 who is an absolute star - she's built such a strong and positive relationship with my son, he really enjoys spending time and learning with her.

My daughter started at the nursery 6 months ago. The staff have been welcoming and look after the children well. I like the way the rooms are set out. Children can play outdoors if they wish to or stay inside. Both areas have plenty for children to do. The nursery also arranged plenty of trips out which

My daughter started at the Kids Planet Stockport in March 2024. After starting she has developed beautifully and it's all thanks to the care and love that is shown in the baby room. For a parent leaving your child for the first time since birth is a big deal and a daunting experience but the support
we received from the nursery was amazing. The updates on the parent app allow you to feel like you're not missing any milestones which can easily be the case when leaving the baby at such a young age. Two members of staff in the baby room are amazing key people and our little one loves being there. The other staff are also so great we couldn't have found a better nursery for our little girl.

Our little boy has taken to nursery. He seems happy and settled already and he has only had 3 sessions so far. The staff have been brilliant at communicating with us, and we love the updates on the app.
Walking into the building we always receive a warm welcome.
The staff are all lovely, and I feel

My daughter has had amazing settling in sessions and has had a brilliant first week. The staff have been so friendly and helpful. I love the app and how it updates with her naps, food, nappies and observations. The sensory room and outdoor space are amazing and she's had some positive potty training
here as well.

My daughter has recently started here and she has settled so well and so quickly. She is trying all new different foods there that she won't try at home. The updates that you get throughout the day on the app are great and very reassuring. All the ladies are great in the room all very friendly. My daughter
seems to have clicked with the room leader as she talks about her at home.

I've had 2 kids at KA - one started Jan 19 (6 months) the next Sept 18 (7 months), just the youngest left there now and he is in pre-school. It is a great nursery, unfortunately, they do seem to have an issue with staff turnover and keeping a manager in post - although they are still very professional
and my child runs in every day and doesn't want to leave at the end so they are doing something right. If we've ever had an issue, they address it quickly and take it seriously (not that there has been any big issues). The food is amazing - no sausage and chips here - food from all over the world. Focus on personal care and self-care.

We needed a nursery that could offer full-time placement with reliability, flexibility around pickup/drop-off times but also with a team that would care for our child with compassion and a desire to help nurture her interests. The service we've received has surpassed our expectations and we've been
delighted with the experience our child has received from the KA team. The children are taken on regular trips in the local area (e.g. to reading sessions at the library, to the shops, train station and park). They have daily activities in tuff trays designed to help the children achieve their Birth to 5 Matters and Framework Indicators. All of this info along with food, naps and nappy changes are updated in (practically) real-time on the app throughout the day. But, it's the key workers that really make this place so special. They go over and above to make our child and us as parents have the best experience and feel informed and connected at all times. Thank you KA!

My youngest grandson has just started at Kids Allowed following in the footsteps of his older brother. He is a 'clingy' child and cries when his mum drops him off, but the staff have encouraged him and looked after him every step of the way. He is now starting to look forward to going. The nursery
is vey well run and the security is impeccable. The meals they provide are fantastic and my grandson who loves his food really enjoys them. I can't fault the nursery.

My son has only just started last week and is having separation anxiety when I drop him off. The staff are brilliant at comforting him and trying to encourage him to get involved in activities. I get regular updates and photos on the app which reassures me. The staff also called me to let me know he
had settled which puts my mind at rest before going to work! They seem passionate about their jobs from what I've seen so far. Security is good as well. I'm sure he will get used to coming here and start looking forward to his nursery days! Would recommend.

Both of my children attend Kids Allowed in Stockport. My 3-year-old started in the baby room and is now in pre-school, and my 10-month-old has just started. I have been so impressed with the kindness and care given by all the staff to our children, and you can see how happy they are to go to nursery.
It’s
at a higher-end cost-wise, but we looked at other nurseries (during lockdown) in the area, and this one felt like the best fit for us. I would say if you are wondering if it’s worth it - then it is. Our parents have been in for grandparent visits in the room and have said how great they thought it was too.
I know that some nurseries never let parents back in after lockdown, but I have always enjoyed collecting my children and getting to know the staff and other children/parents too. You could pop in at any point and see how much fun they’re all having. That is the kind of transparency I want from the people caring for my babies!

I would like to introduce myself to you, my name is Jenna Lewis and I am the Manager of Kids Planet Stockport.


I have been with the Kids Planet Company for two years now and I am very passionate about my career and providing children with a safe space in which they can learn and grow. As a parent myself, I will ensure that the nursery runs to the highest of standards so that all children benefit from the same level of care as I would expect for my own.

I have worked for the company for the past 9 years, working my way from nursery nurse to my current role. I am very passionate about my role and supporting both children and families, ensuring their nursery experience is positive.


I am Level 6 qualified and also have my Level 3 SEND Coordinator qualification.
